Pulte was able to build the home in time but the workmanship and the finishings are below par including the overall models and layouts needs a lot of work to be done.

I was not satisfied with the build quality as well as poor results of how issues being handled. Not a trustworthy builder personally feel.

I had/have multiple issues when i moved in. It's been more than couple of month's that i moved in and still lots of issues. Customer service is horrible. Even i could not get hold of any one while calling the emergency line.

The quality of drywall, carpentry and attention to detail are not good. Also, after my walk through numerous items were supposed to be completed. A month and a half later I’m still waiting. Not enough management to oversee contractors. Electric was only service that was great. Disappointing once they have your money.

We decided to buy our first home with Pulte because we had heard really good things. But the experience has not been good. First there were hardly any flexibility on choosing different options. There was only 1 model home but pulte was offering 5 different designs. They did not had good digital experience to help make decisions. Very rigid timelines and no much flexibility on making changes. They were adamant on closing because they wanted to meet there timeliness so gave the house with so many open issues and now to resolve them I have to plead to get the attention. Quality control is an issues as there was very little oversight of the contractors that did the work. We had to point out major issues that needed addressed that Pulte blatantly missed. On the positive side house designs where nice and the design team was helpful.

The lack of communication during the building process, lack of materials, broken promises. The dist mgr stepped in after closing and was very helpful. Your customer care center is totally worthless, does not return calls. Still waiting for response

Materials in the house are low grade quality. Limited ability to customize, no pride in craftsmanship re: the finishing work. Poor follow up re: problems. Have to track down management to get things accomplished. Would not recommend Pulte.

I really wish I could include pictures. The craftsmanship of my home is embarrassing. Corners are not 90 degrees (I was told this happens in every Pulte home). Front door doesn’t close/latch properly. The ceiling texturing doesn’t do all the way to the wall in some areas. My floors are uneven. None of the molding on the corners are smooth and the wood trim everywhere I looks like I plastered and painted over it. Interior doors are peeling at the top and bottom. Do Not Buy a Pulte Home

I recently moved into my Pulte Townhome. For the price I paid I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the workmanship. Pulte is more concerned about putting up homes quickly rather than the quality of the home. Here are just some examples- 2 bedrooms wired wrong tripping breaker, tacks not nailed down in carpeted areas hence pricking bottom of feet when walking on, garage door broke after 2 wks Bc it was installed improperly, sloppy trim work, worst painting job I’ve ever seen where painter totally missed doors and trim and on trim painted over drywall dust and bits of dry mudding instead ...

Floor is slanted 1.75 inch lower than 4 feet away

Floor on upstairs had 10 ft long bulge of 2 inch pressing the carpet to cause people to fall over. Floor downstairs, the foundation steel beam is sagging by 1.75 inch. The electrical outlets and switches are installed slanted. Kitchen cabinet is broken and still installed to the wall. The drawer knobs and pulls are not the choices I made on change order which the Pulte charged money. There were rebar sticking out of basement. Basement electrical wiring is exposed and they installed drywall on top of natural gas pipes and squeezed it. Kitchen countertop has 1/4 inch gap between cabinet. The ...

The house is built in good area. The quality of materials is not very good and it seems like company tried to save as much as possible on material used. It is hard get ahold and f somebody to fix issues. Options purchased were not installed.

Be diligent about addressing issues with the home. They’ll try to sneak them by you and cross their fingers you don’t notice. We upgraded and paid for paint and have been horribly disappointed. There were several spots that were missed. A lot of dry wall issues because someone left the windows open and it rained and the drywall on the windowsills are all cracked. Front door painted black but painted with the door open so there is black paint splatter on our light gray floors. Uneven walls. Pulte responds to minor issues in a timely manner. However, I have no driveway, only rocks and front steps that are pressed wood. Very unsafe. Have lived here almost a month and they say “soon.” Why? It’s almost June. My back porch is about 4 feet off the ground. No railings.

Pulte cuts corners, from poor quality dry wall to 24" center studs on interior. Two outlets in huge basement. Lower end appliances. No ceiling fans without huge cost. Cheap wire racks/shelves in all closets. NO landscaping included. Small driveways and garages. Poor lighting in bathrooms.

Pulte gives very few choices and charges a premium for many things that we felt should be included in a house. Although I realize Pulte is not a custom builder, we were disappointed by the selections, workmanship, and quality of building materials.

Poor quality of equipments, HVAC and AC had major issues, my tenant keeps complaining of this stuff. My intention of buying a new property was to ensure I don’t face such petty electronic issues, but Pulte made it happen. I don’t think I’ll buy another Pulte property and will inform my acquaintances too if my experience.

Home Not Finished Upon Purchase

Was promised a finished home and threatened with penalty if we didn’t close on time. Closed on time, but home wasn’t finished. Moved in without appliances being in place. Living at residence for a month and house still isn’t graded and is covered in mud. Several things not completed during last clean - basement not cleaned, nails and debris left on roof. Not a great experience.
