We decided to buy our first home with Pulte because we had heard really good things. But the experience has not been good. First there were hardly any flexibility on choosing different options. There was only 1 model home but pulte was offering 5 different designs. They did not had good digital experience to help make decisions. Very rigid timelines and no much flexibility on making changes. They were adamant on closing because they wanted to meet there timeliness so gave the house with so many open issues and now to resolve them I have to plead to get the attention. The standard answer is by end of spring which can be in June. But the same things are already been taken care of new houses that are been built. So it gives the impression that once they got the money, we are not priority anymore. Finally the quality of construction is below par. I am coming from old rental apartmebt and J could see they having better construction. The way the things are now going I am sure all the good will and brand value will soon be lost. I had a horrible experience with sales representative, and upon asking the fellow neighbors in our neighborhood they had similar experiences. The sales representative was really rude and arrogant, and sounded like he wasn’t in the business in selling houses. There was a point where e showed me soo much ego and arrogance that I was gonna just walk out the office (his words- if you don’t want to buy houses we have other buyers in the line to buy the house and upon asking the reason for his behavior he responded I ask too many questions), but since I have been living in the neighborhood I really wanted to buy house for my parents. The sales representative was bad and I would not recommend anyone buying the house with pulte if it was the same sales representative. The design center appointment was really good I loved it, she explained and helped us through the whole Appoinment. From the beginning when we were gathering information to decide to build at the location, we received excellent communication. We knew the choices we had for upgrades all the way to the finishing with the construction manager. Everyone responded to any questions within 24 hours and resolved any issues we requested. Highly recommend building with Pulte! Our home is beautiful and high quality.

We didn't select Pulte as our builder, we chose a location we wanted and they happened to be the ones building here. We have had similar challenges as other reviewers on this site. We monitored our home throughout the build process and were here every week. It is clear that the quality of some of the trades is lacking and the communication among them was not coordinated. There are so many examples of this, but I'll spare you the details. Lots of rework and repairs that could have been done right the first time if anyone was paying attention. It was very frustrating to watch it all happen and not be able to do anything about it. We were told by our construction manager that "it's all part of the process." We still have punch list items from the build that are not completed over a month later, as many other people have said. The house was certainly not clean as it should have been (or as we were promised it would be) when we took possession. If you are planning to build a home with Pulte, it's good to be prepared for these issues. It was incredibly exhausting to try and manage the build process and keep track of things that we would expect them to keep track of. In the end, we love our neighborhood and we love our home. Work was done well and in a timely manner

Framing & Flooring work has been disappointing so far. Expected a lot more from Pulte.

Construction Managers Ryan & Chuck did an amazing job! Dawn, customer care agent, is also awesome, after close punch items are being addressed quickly and with great quality. I love my new home! I am extremely happy with the quality and value of the build, the steps along the entire process were well organized and seamless.

Site manager, Ed, responsive to needs. Always was prompt returning calls and treated us with respect. He did his best to adjust to circumstances out of our control and was always professional. He is a true asset to Pulte.

I’m extremely upset not finishing work after I moved like my laundry room should be gas point for my dryer I have numerous email phone call text but up to date I’m without dryer construction manager Ryan not helpful at all my flooring needs to fix over a month nothing done broken fence that’s before I moved in and numbers of promises still not been done I would not recommend to my friend or family I really had bad experiences with construction manager I’m very upset Thank you

I would not recommend Pulte homes to anyone. I anticipated the quality and craftsmanship to be below average, but Pulte went even below that. I have a strong background in construction management so I expected that I'd have to fix some minor issues, but each day that we are in the home, I find another shortcut taken by the contractors that they use. I would recommend to any potential buyer, do extra research and find a builder who still has pride in their work and treats customers right, instead of just a number. These homes are too expensive to be built this poorly.

Dustin and Diane were excellent to work with. Many last minute issues were pulled off to make sure we closed. They went above and beyond! Im more disappointed with the quality of painting, title work and cleanliness at the delivery of the property. For the price I paid, I expected way better.

Quality of work was not what I expected

Our project manager and sales representatives were professional and very responsive. We got honest timeline expectations. After we moved in any problems we had were dealt with quickly and completed expertly.

Poor communication starting with the sales representative to the field manager, etc. pre to post close. Careless mistakes made during the build process like drywalling over areas and very poor craftmanship from crooked framing, uneven door trims, nicks in walls and woodwork, chips in cabinets, scratches in exterior materials, gaps in installed items, woodwork, garage frame, missing materials, caulk that looked like a 4 year old did it, misalignment of doors and hardware, defects in materials that had to be replaced already...the list goes on. Lots of issues in my new home, lots of promises to rectify those issues went unfinished even after more than one attempt to fix. If they didn’t cut corners the first or second time, they wouldn’t have to come back out for a third (or more) time. They’re slapping together these townhomes at a phenomenal speed, but it shows in the finish. Everything is solid and well built, but the details are shoddy. While I wouldn’t change where I bought, I would definitely have stuck my neck out more at closing if I knew I’d still have 90% of my punch list outstanding 2 months after closing.

The house is beautiful, but overall there are a lot of quality issues like VERY uneven drywall, broken windows, & builder errors that still haven’t been fixed even a month after closing. It seems that the urgency was more on getting homes up than focusing on quality. For the price paid and no basement, I expected higher quality and more urgency.

The quality of home was average. There were a lot of issue in the new home. There are patches of spike obvious throughout the house. Nails popping out from the carpet hurting everyone in the home who is not wearing shoes. Paint is missing on some patches. All electric sockets and switches are crooked. no privacy lock in any bedroom except the master one. Curtain rod and towel rod missing in the full bath. Unremovable lump of glue on the wooden floor. scratches, marks and chemical stains on walls. Poor usage of extra space.

Very responsive staff who treated me very well during the entire process. I was kept informed of everything as it was happening. The home is very well put together. Would recommend Pulte to other family and friends.

We were so happy with how fast we get to the house. From beginning to end everybody we worked with was very helpful and we got into our home quicker than we thought it was going to take.

Pulte has total disconnected from different departments, bad sales team(one I got), amazing construction manager, worst sub contractors, bad quality, failed. My house was closed almost 3 ago, with a condition of getting some stuff done after the closing, its close to 3 months my house is still filled with blue-green tapes for paint and drywall issues, my bathroom is still not completed, I have air drifts from all around the house, my 50% of cabinets are not functional, leaking faucets, lights don't work in the guest bedrooms, etc etc, etc. My recommendation to another buyer is to make sure you record the discussion with the seller agent, DO NOT CLOSE The house if its done, if you be nice, they will take advantage, you will be tired of chasing them. ... sharing detail plan would be helpful, if you let the owner make some minor changes will be very helpful. for example some of my bedroom doesn't have two outlet on wall where bed is going instead they put two outlets under windows , some of the outlet is completely out of place. my master bath faucets i requested to change to a more convenient place instead they kept it very far. craftsmanship in paint is very poor also drywall job is very poor lots of wall are not straight

Overall great experience. Was never told Pulte does not finish the garages.

Quality of workmanship was very poor and quite below what one would expect.

Pulte was able to build the home in time but the workmanship and the finishings are below par including the overall models and layouts needs a lot of work to be done.
