We've experienced numerous issues with our new home. These should have been found and fixed before we moved in if Pulte would have done quality control. Our front porch is permanently stained in multiple places by some form of an oil based liquid. Pulte refuses to replace our porch, they tried to power wash it out and that has only make it worse. It's going on two months now and they still have not resolved the problem. How would you like to spend half a million dollars on a home and the first thing everyone sees before they enter your home is your whole front porch completely ...

My himeboying experince in the initial phases with Ed was great! However I was urged by neighbors not to sign closing until all repairs are made. I wish I would have listened. It’s been five weeks since I moved in and a lot of my major issues which were all cosmetic in nature have not been addressed. Pulte was happy to take my money, but has been very slow in making the cosmetic repairs in my home. I would give my overall experience 2 stars

Lots of pertinent information and decisions were left out of our sales presentations-we always felt "rushed". Then, it was pulling teeth to get appointment at the design center. We were surprised by the number of restrictions, like rectangular sinks, that were not oven offered options. We wanted an extra window, and even offered to pay double, but we were told no, with no explanation why. Lots of things like this made us skeptical even bit of the way. Pulte’s website advertises one thing and then they sell you something cheaper in price just so they can save themselves money. The windows are cheap, the cabinetry is cheaply made. My house definitely would not win any awards. Plus, Pulte is so good at dumping added expenses in your lap.

In the beginning our experience was much more positive. Some of the employees really seem to care but the end result is sloppy trade work and lack of responsiveness to seeing issues to completion. AT best Pulte needs to add 4-6 to it's build time. Trades often do not show and many do such a poor jib it's amazing that they continue to hire them. I think they underestimate their buyers and often patch these houses together. Issues are addressed but not acted on. The number of problems that we have had in our home have been too many to count. Not only do we have some rather large problems, such as cabinets being gouged, doorbell never working, gas leaking from fireplace, etc, but getting these issues fixed seems to be nearly impossible.

I would not recommend Pulte homes to anyone. I anticipated the quality and craftsmanship to be below average, but Pulte went even below that. I have a strong background in construction management so I expected that I'd have to fix some minor issues, but each day that we are in the home, I find another shortcut taken by the contractors that they use. I would recommend to any potential buyer, do extra research and find a builder who still has pride in their work and treats customers right, instead of just a number. These homes are too expensive to be built this poorly.

Pulte has total disconnected from different departments, bad sales team(one I got), amazing construction manager, worst sub contractors, bad quality, failed. Shoddy build quality with an extremely low level of respect and care for your home. They hire the cheapest labor they can - many don't even speak English - and it shows. Truly a production style build process in which corners are cut. Communication is incredibly lacking and you are treated like you don't matter and aren't a part of the process. I would never, ever, ever build a home with Pulte again.

This was supposed to be the happiest time of our life but it has absolutely been a nightmare! We actually had others by in the same community as us and we regret it! They have had very similar problems also a lot of the work very subpar and we’re still having many issues! We have to call or text many times over before we get a response! It has been an absolute nightmare and would never build with Pulte again.

I searched the web for reviews on Pulte before signing my contract and most were pretty bad reviews. Unfortunately for me, I moved forward with the purchase and here I am, adding to the bad reviews. I should have known better and I'll be kicking myself for a long time. Overall, the subcontractors performed subpar work and all their work went unsupervised by the Pulte field manager.
