Very informative and very professional quality experience!

We were living out of state and working so it was hard to coordinate walk throughs but my sister and brother in laws did the walk throughs for us and Pulte representatives were great. We did meet with Garrett and the warranty representative after we were moved in for three weeks, they were very informative. We are going to send in via the service link as directed items we have seen since we moved in.

The sales office needs a new rep, Craig’s lack of knowledge in real estate is only surpassed by his lack of professionalism. Brian, site manager, could care less about getting “punch list” things taken care of - basically if the structure hasn’t fully collapsed, you’re not getting much attention. The craftsmanship was clearly below average. Measurement markings left behind, unfinished wood work, were all just left to be after closing. It doesn’t seem to be a tall order to have everything completed in full at the end of close. The unit had multiple stains in carpet prior to closing, Brian said it was taken care of - plain as day they still exist. We get it, this community is a cookie cutter development for Pulte to build homes as quick as possible to turn a profit. Somewhere in the process, it would be nice to show genuine support for the customer. Nothing too over the top, just taking care of YOUR shortcomings. SOOOOOO many issues. Not only with poor craftsmanship and materials, but with Pulte Mortgage and Title too. My recommendation: CAREFULLY review your Settlement Statement as well as EVERY detail in your home BEFORE signing ANYTHING. As things stand, Pulte under paid me $1,188 in property taxes. Given I took title 5 days before the end of 2024 I didn’t think much of Pulte crediting me $1383 for 2024 taxes. That is until I learned the taxes for 2024 were $2,571. When I called Pulte Title to understand why they didn’t cover the entire sum (minus my five days of ownership), I was told, rather defensively, that the $1383 was based on a 2023 estimate and that given I signed the document, I agreed to the 2023 estimate. That is just wrong. At that point in the year Pulte could have easily accessed the correct 2024 tax information from the county website. I'd like to talk to my neighbors to see if this was their experience as well. And yet it’s still not over. Because though Pulte Mortgage alleges they transferred $1,285 (or first-half taxes) from my escrow to the county a month ago, the county has no record of receiving it. I’m now three calls in with Pulte Mortgage to resolve the issue and facing delinquency charges if they are not paid by March 3. What is most interesting to me is that I never would have discovered any of this if I hadn’t had such a hard time trying to transfer water from Pulte to me and had to reach out to the county. Regarding the construction issues, I feel I am making some headway in getting them resolved. So far a broken shower tile has been fixed as well as most (but not all) of the “wood” trim damage, toilet paper hardware has been installed, and varnish drippings have mostly been removed from staircase poles. Dry wall issues have been flagged (literally all over my home with green frog tape) by a Pulte customer service rep, but I have yet to see a work order. There are more items, but at this point I plan to wait until my one year walk through. In the meantime, it will be interesting to see what awaits me in spring when I’ll have a chance to take in the outdoor construction and landscaping. ... More

The care, attention to detail, and kindness received from Kayla the construction manager and Erin the Pulte representative were unparalleled. These two went above and beyond to help me and my small family get settled into a safe, affordable, and finished home. I am very grateful for their assistance.

Very rigid in choices. Would have liked to pay for options we presented. I.e. paint colors within Sherwin Williams paint brand which you use. Instead we had to pay after closing to have walls painted colors we chose from Sherman Williams. Also, not meeting ada requirements. I.e. shower stalls. The given one is very tiny. Will not allow for shower seat for handicap. For the $$$, very dissapointed. Would like more options. Also, wheelchairs do not fit through doorways, too tight of turns. Had to take doors off to maneuver! Pathways tight and tiny. Definitely not ada or senior complient. Suggest you walk through floor plan before choosing it! Also took over 2 months for countertop replacement. No option for types of sealers. ... More

We love our Pulte home. We built with Pulte 9 years ago in Newell Creek. We chose to downsize to a ranch with up bonus area that is being used as an in-law suite. Their layouts are amazing- they utilize all the space for creative layouts. Our salesman Steve was great as well as our Project Manager Nick. We enjoyed working with our team. I would recommend Pulte for ver any other builder. Thank you, Michelle

The layout and options available in the houses are great. However, I do wish Pulte would offer more customization on certain things, such as HVAC choices, shelving in closets, allowing multiple interior paint choices, and just interior design choices in general. We have a lot of small issues in the house and a couple of bigger issues, but Pulte has so far worked with us on a lot of them. Something that’s rather frustrating is that you have to really stay on them to get things done. Sometimes they’ll push back but if you’re persistent then they will work with you. Lastly, the quality of some the work they do is sub-standard, especially trim work. Some of the trim has gaps in it, is uneven, and a lot of it has gashes or scratches. Pulte says they will address this at the one year mark, so I cannot give them a complete review until then. Overall, I would recommend for someone who wants a quick build and is looking for something budget friendly. ... More

Our home buying experience started out great but we ended up regretting our purchase. At a quick glance the homes seem well out together, we noticed issues during our final walkthrough that weren’t all completed by the time of closing. Once we moved in we have not enjoyed our home. Outside of the lack of quality workmanship on details such as paint, trim, and drywall. The home is freezing. Our heat has to be almost up to 80 while wearing long pants and a sweater to be comfortable. Our 1 year old daughter has to be bundled up to eat breakfast in the morning. When you sit on the sectional you can feel the cold air blowing on your feet and neck. There is condensation on the new windows. Having owned a home in the Chicagoland area that was 6 years old we never had these issues, and our previous home was on a slab and it never felt this cold. We were going to build another home with Pulte but luckily were able to back out with only losing a small deposit. Would not recommend as a builder ... More

This is our 3rd home to build with Pulte and our experience was exceptional. From the sales and selection process with Ashlea to the building process with Jeff, we are beyond pleased with the service and the quality of the construction. We highly recommend Pulte and the Carlton Estates team.

Great experience from contract signing, selection of options, communications during the construction process and closing with their title company. Home delivered on time per the contract. Pulte's staff very helpful and always responsive

Kept in the loop the whole process

Questionable work by contractors. Poor drywall work, crooked walls, nail pops in ceiling, uneven flooring, lumps in carpet, caulking separating from counter, dings in cabinets.

The building process was easy to follow and we were kept well informed of the process by our construction manager. We had access to observe the build anytime we wanted to visit the site and were permitted to bring up our concerns to the CM. These concerns were always addressed promptly and fairly by the CM. Overall it made a usually stressful process very seamless and efficient.

We built our new home with Pulte and couldn't be happier with the process and outcome. Everything worked really well. Construction managers provided weekly updates through the process and issues that arose or we continue to point out are being addressed and followed up very quickly. Very nice job and great experience so far!

Quality is OK, some of their contractors had quality issues, as in porch patio cracks. when I went to cook in the oven on the new Whirlpool appliance, it would not shut off. Called Whirlpool, and it just got fixed a week ago, I would have thought it would have been operated, and time set, etc. It had a bad touchpad and control module. I did not contact Pulte.

Linda, our Sales Person, was always helpful in answering our questions and showing us the information that we requested. Jeremy, our builder liaison, throughout the finishing process has shown professionalism and the willingness and follow-up to complete items that were requested..

Building a new house is very stressful, but luckily i got help from a great project manager, George. He is awsome.

Everyone I worked with was nice and helpful for the most part. The craftsmanship is sub par. The cabinets and counters are well done. Painting job was sloppy and I removed paint splatter from many places on my new flooring. I have found several cracks and chips in things that I’ve submitted requests for but still am waiting to hear back about a plan of action. I can appreciate the speed at which the home was built but it was definitely at the cost of quality attention to detail

scratched windows holes in walls missed paint Really Really bad drywall.

Floor on upstairs had 10 ft long bulge of 2 inch pressing the carpet to cause people to fall over. Floor downstairs, the foundation steel beam is sagging by 1.75 inch. The electrical outlets and switches are installed slanted. Kitchen cabinet is broken and still installed to the wall. The drawer knobs and pulls are not the choices I made on change order which the Pulte charged money. There were rebar sticking out of basement. Basement electrical wiring is exposed and they installed drywall on top of natural gas pipes and squeezed it. Kitchen countertop has 1/4 inch gap between cabinet. The bathroom sinks under mount is not caulked 1/6 inch gap on 6 sinks. Outside second story windows has paint marks and too steep to clean so they didn't clean them. The orange conduit lets rain drip into the electrical panel inside where there is an outlet facing upward at the conduit from outside. Pulte denied responsibility even though they installed it. Internet panel is crooked not installed straight. The pre wired ceiling fan, Pulte put a cheap chandelier which prevented installing a ceiling fan. Garage had crack outside the garage door envelopment. Front door trim came apart. Weather stripping failed on new construction. Windows are installed straight but not light switches. A Door is missing a door stopper. Tiles are not sealed so home owner have to seal them before using the shower after moving in we had to wait three days for shower tile grout sealers to cure and have to be reapplied every month. ... Pulte Mortgage lied and stole thousands of dollars. The house, itself, is okay, but don't use Pulte Mortgage.

We love Pulte Home, especially the Mercer floor plan! The master bedroom was incredible extra big area. The layout of each room and the set up was nice and big
