The locks are not the best quality. They get stuck at times. Microwave door handle is defective. Overall it’s a good home and local Pulte staff were very good and helpful with issues as we moved through the building process. With a new build I’d recommend using a home inspector. Our inspection revealed several issues which were corrected prior to closing. (Wiring was hooked up incorrectly, hot water tank needed minor adjustments etc). After the inspection all things were corrected.

This is first home for us like many other, The pulte team at columbia Station OH is excellent and customer driven.

So far the neighborhood is great. Steve in the office is awesome. Workmanship on home could be better if they just did things right the 1st time. Most issues we have had have been fixed in a timely manner

We were in love with the model and bought the floor plan. We still think the floor plan is great. The issue we experienced is that our move in was delayed because the basement flooded right before we were supposed to close. Then it was repaired and flooded again within a month of moving in. When the house flooded the first time, it appears that all Pulte did was repair the interior damage but not actually repair the issues that led to the flood. When it flooded the second time, we heard from both the customer care agent and the site manager that the flooding was an act of god and that there wasn’t anything wrong with the lot grading. Then it failed the city’s inspection three times! Repeated flooding in a short amount of time is not an act of god, it’s either poor construction or a lot that isn’t graded properly. While we are happy that Pulte finally took care of it, it was very frustrating that we had to call the customer agent daily for updates and we finally had to bring in the construction manager’s boss to get the lot issue taken care of. After talking to our neighbors who have had issues with getting repairs done, it feels like Pulte sells you on a warranty that they are then not too quick to adhere to. The other reason for our lower ratings are that some of the materials and workmanship are not the best quality. The paint they use is awful, flat, cheap paint that smudges when anything touches it. We keep seeing drywall imperfections that we didn’t notice before we moved in. And we have a ton of windows with scratches on the glass that we are still waiting to be repaired. We still love the layout and the way this home fits our family’s needs, but we would not build with Pulte again. ... More

Finished product is liveable, but not what we expected for the price. Selections were VERY limited. Communication with the construction crew was limited and at times nonresponsive. Post-closing communication has been much better - seems like the builder is very anxious to deliver what was promised.

Quality of the material and build is way below expectation of a new quality home. If I can rate minus star I would’ve given a minor star. This doesn’t look like a half $1 million plus house this look like a below average amateur built the house. I will never recommend anyone to buy home in Pulte. One of the third-party vendor they have Guardian they are just ripping the customers off and their customer service is horrible. They installed my speakers and connections in a faulty way when they install my nest doorbell. They burned out the doorbell itself. It’s been a month. They still haven’t fixed it. Walls are very delicate. My Kitchen Grantee joints already started gaps.

Experience at first was a good but a lot of the selling point during our walkthrough was not true after house was built.

once you move in, radio silence! cant get anything done that was suppose to be completed before closing

The entire process was seamless. Brandon was an exceptional representative of Pulte and very knowledgeable. Ed and George provided frequent updates and were extremely attentive to my questions and concerns along the way. They offered solutions and provided professional guidance, even after closing. Great job by all!

Overall great experience from Ed, our sales rep (as well as July in Aurora who didn't get the sale but helped direct us to the right home and neighborhood), Jeremy, our construction manager, Allyson at the design center and others.. Everything was finished on time (actually a few days early to meet closing on our new home) and work was as expected.

We have built seven homes in seven states therefore I feel Qualified to comment. You should know Pulte design centers do not offer the same options in all parts of the country and some of the options may seem a little pricey but if you go in with a budget and an open mind Allyson will meet expectations. We used and would recommend Pulte title services and Judy who will keep you informed every step of the way. All builders have minor issues. Pulte service and follow up addresses issues in a seamless process and my requests have been handled to my satisfaction by Dawn and Kayla. Pulte is unique among builders in that as part of the warranty they will perform an 11 month follow up from move in to insure complete satisfaction. Based on previous building experiences, I must give the Pulte Cleveland Region very high marks due to the quality of building materials and dedicated employees who seek to meet or exceed my expectations. ... We love the house a lot

We've experienced numerous issues with our new home. These should have been found and fixed before we moved in if Pulte would have done quality control. Our front porch is permanently stained in multiple places by some form of an oil based liquid. Pulte refuses to replace our porch, they tried to power wash it out and that has only make it worse. It's going on two months now and they still have not resolved the problem. How would you like to spend half a million dollars on a home and the first thing everyone sees before they enter your home is your whole front porch completely stained. Now that certainly doesn't appear to be high quality or expert craftsmanship. Next we experienced our front bedroom flooding with sewage from the clean out drain. This was because first someone stuffed a 2 foot 2×4 and a wooden plug into the clean out. Unfortunately the plumber did not glue the cap screw sleeve and didn't secure the cap. Had the workmanship been even average we would still had had the backup do to the items in the clean out pipe but at least it wouldn't have flood into the room and ruin the padding and carpet. All of are windows can not be opened without extreme physical effort. We are still waiting on someone to come make the required adjustments. We have also had a significant amount of settlement under our back patio. Again we have been waiting for more than a month for someone to come and access and fix the issue. We fear there will be additional structural damage done if this doesn't get addressed soon. They have dropped a part of the roof frame from the next door house on our roof and damage our roof shingles, gutter, and tree we had just planted. ... More

Project manager stayed on top of all the sub contractors to keep close on time

74 years old and the first house we had built from scratch. Pulte made the process very straight forward with minimal stress.

Overall very happy with speed and quality

Our experience with the sales team was great. Wendy was very attentive, answered all our questions and helped us every step of the way. Build was on schedule and we were able to stay on top of the progress thanks to the construction manager's communication with us. Our issues have come from the subcontractors not being properly monitored to make sure the work was consistent and of high quality. Having this many houses being built and finished at one time probably put some unnecessary stress on the subcontractors. Although the warranty team has been responsive to our requests, there seem to be a lot of issues that never should have slipped through to begin with. We're happy with the house, but a lot of the finish work I could have done better myself, and I was a desk jockey during my career. ... More

I can list a few, but just telling couple of things I noticed which are not up to Pulte standard. I am not satisfied with Pulte did my garage. The sidings are tucked in properly

I liked that Nick kept us informed on the progress of our home from the start: laying foundations all the way to handing of the keys.

My himeboying experince in the initial phases with Ed was great! However I was urged by neighbors not to sign closing until all repairs are made. I wish I would have listened. It’s been five weeks since I moved in and a lot of my major issues which were all cosmetic in nature have not been addressed. Pulte was happy to take my money, but has been very slow in making the cosmetic repairs in my home. I would give my overall experience 2 stars

Pulte (as well as Pulte Mortgage) was absolutely wonderful to work with. From our sales guy, Jack, to Ed, George & Chuck who were in charge of project management & warranties, everyone was attentive, friendly & responsive in a timely manner. Our home was built to our expectations and we are loving the neighborhood. Highly recommend !

Our overall experience was excellent. We want to sincerely thank all the teams involved in helping us build our dream home. Ashlea was wonderful. Brian was a delight! They were attentive to detail, quick to respond, understood our needs and wants, and went above and beyond to help us at every step. Allyson from the design center was extremely patient and understanding with our needs. Judy, from the title team, was thoughtful, patient, and extremely supportive. We know there are many more team members involved in this process working tirelessly behind the scenes and we are extremely grateful to all of them! Thank you. One feedback we would like to provide is to consider painting the garage a fresh coat of paint after completion. You pay Peter to pay Paul and you expect brand new condition items and quality work. You don't get that. Left with dinged up and chipped visible work. Put lipstick over mistakes rather than actually replacing the part they damaged. Tub faucet isn't secured to the tub and turns like a lazy Susan. Backdoor let's water in, flows under the floor boards, and still hasn't been fixed. Windows and mirrors were scratched and not fixed. Carpet isn't properly seated under transition strips and leaves wedges that you slip into when walking across the floors. Not worth spending the price for a brand new house, with over priced labor and low grade work/materials, if the home doesn't look new or have the value that you paid for. We are very happy with our new home. The best part was the experience with our sales consultant Diane and the construction manager Dustin. They were both thorough, responsive and kind.
