The home building process was extremely easy for me. The sales rep and construction manager did a great job. pulte’s title company were not easy to deal with.

Pulte homes have a robust plan to build the houses. Their sequencing of activities are excellent. They have quality checks in place. The customizations sometimes fall through the planning process. The issues and corrections move slowly, but they track and get it done. Overall a great experience buying a Pulte Holme.

Overall, a solid experience. I would not recommend Pulte Mortgage, but the build went well. Ryan was a good construction manager. There are small aesthetic issues that are somewhat annoying, but I have confidence Pulte will fix these throughout the first year of ownership.

Site manager, Ed, responsive to needs. Always was prompt returning calls and treated us with respect. He did his best to adjust to circumstances out of our control and was always professional. He is a true asset to Pulte.

Excellent sales experience. Weak communications, responsiveness during construction. Closing was delayed three weeks. Lots of items in home still need to be fixed or completed with no repair dates given by Pulte. Pulte's title company was atrocious.

I have been in my home almost 1 month and many things still need to be done to complete it. Paint broken window cabinet door no towel racks and toilet paper holders and railing needs to be moved. This should have been done by now. I gave all my money and financed before I moved in. I expect the work to be complete by now.

Good intentions and continued follow up with vendors to finish or fix issues and problems with the build. We like our home and are very happy with Steve and Mike. Eventually we are confident all issues will be completed to our satisfaction. They communicate and keep us informed. 98 percent of the house is complete and the balance of items should be resolved soon we hope.We are happy with our new home.

We have lived in our new home since December. There were pros and cons to building with a production builder, like Pulte. We found the process to be simple overall and seamless from when we signed our first papers to our closing. We used Pulte mortgage, which I think helped keep the process simple for us. Communication was very open, and we felt we were able to easily speak to someone when we needed too. Steve does a great job but I feel he is understaffed, there is some unfinished items that are mostly wheather related that I hope will be completed by early spring. Steve did respond with other issues in a timely manner. I also think John is a great salesman and is very responsive

We love our new home however I think that there were some corners that were cut that gave us the impression that is less then expected. For instance, unfinished walls that aren't covering electrical wiring in the garage, the storage area and the furnace area. For the cost of a few pieces of dry wall this would not have given the appearance of cost cutting. Clean up also seemed to be an after-thought.

The sales process was bad. The sales rep didn’t listen to our concerns and let us make assumptions that he could have easily clarified. This lead to many disappointments when we didn’t get house feature we thought we had purchased.

We had a few issues but they were addressed in a timely manner. The team seemed genuinely concerned with our satisfaction. Wasn't thrilled with the Pulte Title experience, but on the builder side and the management of the construction, we were satisfied. Would indeed do it again, knowing what we know now.

Pulte is a fine builder and were great to work with during the build process. They were extremely transparent and communicative. Once we closed, that transparency stopped and trustworthiness declined. We were told we won’t have a driveway for a while because the weather in Ohio in April. It made sense until the unoccupied homes down the street that were quick move ins got driveways poured. We called Pulte and they told us the city won’t let them sell homes unless there is a permanent driveway which for us wasn’t the case because we built our house during the winter. Work order system is slow. A contractor comes to fix cracks in the foundation and can only fix one because the work order says "crack" not "cracks". He was unable to get permission to fix all so he has to come back. What a waste of everyones time. We are also disappointed with some of the craftsmanship. Even after the final walk through we found many small instances of work that looked like it was hastily done. Also disappointed with quality of some of the materials used. We paid for baseboard upgrades and were suprised that they were not actual wood.

Overall, we are extremely happy with our house. However, there have definitely been issues. I won't go into all the detail but we've had small issues with flooring, caulking, a bad smoke detector, a cracked doorknob, a damaged window frame, etc. - you get the idea. In short, I would say that Pulte cares enough that they are willing to fix issues (even though some issues are requiring me to be more persistent) but not enough that they just did it the right way. There was even a snarking email in response to the cracked doorknob calling us out for not calling it out during our walkthrough. ...
