Good experience as first-time home buyers. Felt very safe about asking lots of questions with it being our first experience and they were very communicative and helpful as we learned. We got what we expected so people were upfront and honest. It was relatively seamless process. We felt confident and comfortable from start to finish even given how big of a financial decision it was. Would recommend.

My home was completed in about 7 months and looking at the details it shows. My floors are covered with white trim paint, paint on walls missed, glass window put in with scratches all over it, outlets put in 1 CM from the corner (why would you do that?), missing towel rack in our shower we "upgraded", door frame not painted. The attention to detail is just not what I would expect.

I had the honor of building a house through Pulte and the experience was not nice from start to finish . I have complained numerous times all to no avail . You can tell that they rush the building process and it’s so sad that their standards are starting to be like that of Ryan homes. I would advise you not to build with them all they care about is the money

Big daddy Ed was our rep for the building process in Columbia a station and his communication and responsiveness and professionalism was second to none.. he addressed everything we asked about and never made us feel unintelligent in any way.

Make sure everything is done before you close.

Overall great experience working with Dylan and Ashlea. Would’ve been all five stars except for one issue the day of closing that took too long to correct. House prices are too high, but that’s not Pulte’s fault.

This is the second home we built with Pulte. The quality isn't the same and there were minor changes that impacted overall quality and value. Cabinets were made cheaply, front steps are no longer concrete but small TREX steps, porch is barely wide enough to walk, garage is ridiculously small and you need to pay extra to get a larger garage. My third row SUV BARELY fits! Cars are larger nowadays and families have bikes and cars, golf clubs, snow blowers, lawn mowers that need to fit in a typical garage and they don't! This is where the value for what we paid has gone down. Buyers need to be aware that standard options aren't suitable for most families, and you need to upgrade a lot to be comfortable. ... More

House is thin can hear people talking throughout house and everyone and car passing by, If you are outside you can hear them talking inside. Floors creak all over worse than an old house. Trim looks like wood but it’s cardboard inside. Ed was great but other than that it’s a cheap house at expensive price. Cement in basement, driveway and sidewalk already cracked. I will say foundation is awesome,

Pulte homes have a robust plan to build the houses. Their sequencing of activities are excellent. They have quality checks in place. The customizations sometimes fall through the planning process. The issues and corrections move slowly, but they track and get it done. Overall a great experience buying a Pulte Holme.

Plumbing was run differently in my house compared to the model, which resulted in additional soffits and bulkheads which were not ideal. When this was first noticed corrections were not taken. I feel that the local sub contractors were told to do a job, but no one checked their finished product to make sure it met Pulte’s quality standards.

Overall the pre purchase, keeping us informed on timely manner, meeting deadlines, closing all worked great. Materials quality also seems to be good, but it is just the beginning. Post warranty attention needs improvement, need the team to share some ETAs or timelines which is missing. All homes do have some issues to fix after we get in which is normal but attending to it and giving ETAs needs improvement.

Pulte let their deadlines and we close on our house on time. Once they sell you their house, however, their customer service is poor.

My wife and I are not happy at all with Pulte homes. We have crooked walls, leaking roof, house infested with centipedes etc. . Vanessa lied to my wife and I.

I will start by saying our Pulte sales and selection process was awesome and I would have given that 4 or 5 stars. We were well informed throughout, everything with construction stayed on track, and we were able to move in a month ahead of when we expected. I really want to love this house. By all appearances it is beautiful. But we've had problems with the "bones" of it that make us question the quality. The responsiveness to our concerns is not exactly stellar. We try to be understanding that all new homes have kinks and availability of help is a challenge. But these frustrations really did take away from the excitement and instead made our first 30 days stressful as we wondered what else would happen. I recently moved into my Pulte Townhome. For the price I paid I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the workmanship. Pulte is more concerned about putting up homes quickly rather than the quality of the home. Here are just some examples- 2 bedrooms wired wrong tripping breaker, tacks not nailed down in carpeted areas hence pricking bottom of feet when walking on, garage door broke after 2 wks Bc it was installed improperly, sloppy trim work, worst painting job I’ve ever seen where painter totally missed doors and trim and on trim painted over drywall dust and bits of dry mudding instead of wiping it off or removing it, AC vents, thermostat and cold air return mounted crooked. And the worst example - plumber installed toilet in powder room incorrectly. Instead of tank bring just a couple inches from wall it was like 8-10 inches. I literally could fit through the space. In my life I did big mistake. I buy Pulte home

Satisfied with overall process. Unfortunately, the closing was rescheduled twice due to completion issues. Difficulty with follow up requests.

The personal experience was great. I think Pulte should have made the driveway 2 feet wider. There should be a hose bib in the garage as a standard feature. The the flex room and the second bedroom could be a bit larger to make them more usable. The Moen garbage disposal is a downgrade. But basically I really like the house.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my home building experience with Pulte Homes. Pulte Mortgage especially did an exceptional job keeping me informed throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Pulte Homes to anyone looking to build a new home.

The process was a lot simpler than I would have expected. All post-move issues so far have been fairly minor and easily fixed. The materials, such as the paint are incredibly disappointing because of how hard it is to clean walls without the paint coming off. There were also so annoying upsell choices throughout the process that restricted you just because Pulte decided that's the way it was going to be. Most complaints though are fairly minor.

In spite of Covid supply chain issues we were able to get a house built that we really love! Nothing is perfect but overall we are very happy with our new home.
