The salesman was nice. J. And responded to most issues. I had a Realtor with Pulte Laura who I liked and she continued to contact me throughout the process and stayed with me till the end to make sure everything went through. Overall everything went through the home on the walk-through. We found several issues that needed to be fixed. They weren’t all fixed when we moved in And in contacting the company about issues that needed to be fixed I probably had about eight of them and they only responded to two. Nice place to live in . Good location. Olentangy schools!!!

I was forced to close on an unfinished house due to year end 2022 situation with a written commitment from Tiffany, Manager of Sales team and commitment from onsite Construction engineer Michael. With in a week, Michael was laid off and there was no communication on new person until my follow ups and the response from Patrick was okay but he doesn't have a full understanding of what Michael has done or not done. I have given a list of Items from quality walk through to Final walk through and now Patrick has turned them over to Customer Service, no resolution, Got mail for customer Service, but no further follow up. After spending 900k on a whom, if Pulte is expecting me to do daily follow ups, I am sorry to say it is pathetic service. All I need is to resolve open issues from before closing to final walk through after closing as soon as possible. Worst thing to say is there is junk of plastic, bottles in sump pump and and mud, plastic and dead rat in egress window. Patrick knows about it to clean and promised to do so. Pulte is a production builder. Did not realize initially that term had some negative connotations, including lack of flexibility and occasional poor workmanship and materials. Follow up and call back fixes are numerous and response is slow. Knowing what I know now, I would give give much more consideration to alternatives. My expectations may have been too high but it is what it is and trying to make the best of it.

Overall the experience was good. The end and closing was not ideal. We have several outstanding issues that still need addressed. The craftmanship of work is just ok. Mostly minor things, but when you build a brand new home, you should expect perfection. Most things are being made right, but to have this happen at the end, it less than ideal. We do love our home and are getting settled in, we just wish these things were attended to better.

Great experience, helpful and responsive team

Overall Tyler took care of us and fixed each issue. However the lack of attention to the little details, by the contractors, was annoying. I had to point out multiple small issue. Ex: Thermostat installed crooked. Light at bottom of stairs was installed partially into the stairwell. Floor vent hole cut crooked. Etc, etc…

They were great until you closed. So many problems but hopefully will take care of all the problems.

Overall the home was build within the defined timeline… there were delays here and there but those were minors so I am overall happy with the schedule…. Couple of options were changes during the process due to logistics issues but that’s not specific and in control to Pulte I guess… And once you commit to your options nothing can be altered thereafter… Good quality home and team on the ground is responsive but can’t say the same for there call center though…

Chris and Bryan worked with us on our build in Parkside. Both were openly communicative and available to answer questions and provide help whenever we needed it. Thank you both for making our home building process as stress free as possible!

Im having multiple issues with drywall, lighting, and the dryer not being installed properly. No sod has been a nightmare especially with a dog. The construction workers leave trash that blows all over the neighborhood. The blacktop on the driveway is crumbling.

We are in love with our new Pulte home. The whole process from start to finish was easy to navigate and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with!

The build process was ok, but the responsiveness of Pulte was substandard and there are still a lot of open issues month after closing. Don't recommend Pulte.

They have an excellent team to help you and make your home buying and moving in a pleasent experience.

Very responsive customer service from all pulte representatives! Build quality is solid, but there are some things that could have been cleaner. No issues impacting anything other than looks.

The designs are great. But beware contractors are below average and materials are fair.

My experience with Eric and Bob has been top class!. They were true professional, keeping you informed with all good and not so good news about the progress. Keeping to the timeline, when SCM issues impacted all business is commendable. Love the home, love the home buying experience. Thank you Pulte!

I was disappointed with problems in the kitchen

The overall experience was good. We were able to monitor the process frequently and were provided information and updates about the status from the construction manager. The closing date was 3-4 weeks later than the estimated, however. The condition of the house is good and any issues are being dealt by the builder

My review comment is little less because of the below reasons. I am open to have a discussion if my comments are not valid 1. This house planned closing date was mid of Aug 2022 but closed on 28th Oct 2022. 2. Few issues were notified during the house construction and most of them are fixed and few of them are not fixed with no ETA (find the below detail) a. Celling painting issue – 2 places need touchup – Not Fixed b. Garage door opener fixed before drywall and now it’s showing big gap in all the holding clamps – Not Fixed c. Bedroom window lip broken – Not Fixed d. House Sliding repair – Not Fixed e. Cabinet – Fake drawer front fix – common bathroom f. Kitchen Cabinet broken – Not Fixed g. In the basement, washer dryer excess water outlet pipe is showing in the middle of the basement in a slanted and hanging way – Not Fixed h. In the basement window the outside well cover is not fixed but they have put grass seeds – Partially fixed i. In the master bedroom the wooden floor was bent – Fixed but I am not satisfied for the fix - open for discussion for the fix provided 3. Water leaking from the Furnace – Reported to construction manager, he said it will stop automatically. After that I raised service request once person came and checked. He made more water leakage from furnace. Daily 2 times I am collecting water and pour into sump. Appointment scheduled for 13th Dec 2022. 4. When I am raising service request, supporting team requesting me to contact the vendor directly. Not sure why they are asking like that. 5. Basement cleaning was not good. 6. After getting the house key from the closing office, I came to home to open the door, the door was open not even closed. 7. Unable to track the service request – how to check the status for the service request 8. Product cost is vert high, Simple example garage door opener, you guys charged $730 but the actual price less than $200 (even it’s not fixed properly, mentioned above) Personally, I do not have issues with anyone. Should fix few issues faster

We love our home and our neighbors.

My name is Jay. My family and I bought the house on February 1st. On the October 21st we closed the house. This is our first time buying the new house. First time with pulte home. We are honestly to say that we are very disappointed with the buying process, the whole experience and the house build quality. We had just moved in a little over a month, the house paint has already started cracking over the living room and sunroom. It seems like the builder just try to close the house and ignore the quality. The cabinet frame cracks and still waiting on the repairing. Outside vinyl siding has holes they promised to fix which they never did. Shower tub is leaking water they had promised to fix and still waiting to be fixed. All the trim over the house looks awful and paint is not even and smooth. Construction manager Micheal seems like a nice guy but we feel like he only sweet talk to you and never really helping you fix the problems. Customer service takes forever to respond and only tell you that they will address the problem and never did. Overall, we had horrible experience with pulte home. Very good house plans, process is well defined, and Pulte met their committments. They did hurry up some of the final finishing details to meet our closing date, but we are working together to take care of any issues.

All new builds will have their share of issues. Subcontractors rarely pay attention to the small details and tend to cut corners throughout the building process. This will definitely happen regardless of who you build with. However, the biggest difference we had when building with Pulte was the leadership team and their commitment to making things right for us. Our superintendent, Brian L., and his team did a phenomenal job of handling our issues in a timely manner and ensuring that everything with our new home was up to our standards before closing. It was his attention to detail that made the difference for our family.
