Pay attentionas some of the contractors work was shoddy

Our initial overall experience has been positive. We have only been in the home a little over one month and have been happy with our home. My rating may change once we have settled in, but as of now, I would recommend Pulte.

As a first time home buyer my experience with Pulte homes was great they made things very simple from getting Insurance to getting Mortgage. Interest rates offered by Pulte Mortgage was incomparable with any of other builders out there in market during this tough times.

Overall Tyler took care of us and fixed each issue. However the lack of attention to the little details, by the contractors, was annoying. I had to point out multiple small issue. Ex: Thermostat installed crooked. Light at bottom of stairs was installed partially into the stairwell. Floor vent hole cut crooked. Etc, etc…

Overall the home was build within the defined timeline… there were delays here and there but those were minors so I am overall happy with the schedule…. Couple of options were changes during the process due to logistics issues but that’s not specific and in control to Pulte I guess… And once you commit to your options nothing can be altered thereafter… Good quality home and team on the ground is responsive but can’t say the same for there call center though…

Very responsive customer service from all pulte representatives! Build quality is solid, but there are some things that could have been cleaner. No issues impacting anything other than looks.

The overall experience was good. We were able to monitor the process frequently and were provided information and updates about the status from the construction manager. The closing date was 3-4 weeks later than the estimated, however. The condition of the house is good and any issues are being dealt by the builder

The Pulte people were fantastic. This is the 4th home that I have built over my lifetime of 64 years, and this may have been my best experience up front. Compared to my other homes though, the workmanship has been more problematic, but the issues are really only slight things. I hesitate to say anything, because of the smallness, but this is the highest cost and nicest home compared to my others, but came with more problems. I am speaking of things like electrical outlets not working and heating vents that do not operate, and lots of paint left on the floors. I wonder why they didn't test when installed and cleaned up better, but I chalk it up to too few people to maintain standards (shortage of workers). I can understand that, so I would say that I am content. The landscaping is not well at all, so I wish that I would have had a contact for help or discussion. We enjoyed every process of our house building. The quality of the house and overall experience has been marvelous for us. Molly is excellent, polite, and cooperative. She is responsive with quick replies and also helped us understand every step since we were first buyers, especially since we are from an international country. Nathan- Our experience with Nathan as a construction manager is very impressive. He helped us to explain every detail of the house and all the other tiny details were taken care of before we moved. We like Nathan more than the previous manager and are happy that the process was taken care of by Nathan while we walked our house. We had a few issues, only one big issue with the Power Company sub who does the hookup from the box to the house, which ended up delaying our closing a week. Pulte was good to work with especially the site construction manager, who was very excellent at keeping us informed as we were moving from out of state. At move-in we had a very short punch list of items and most were completed within the first few weeks.

One thing I’m totally disappointed with Pulte workmanship is the way the doors are fixed - All doors (except for 1) in first floor and second floor in our house are rattling. I have not seen that happen in any house. Apparently we were told that, that issue cannot be fixed. Wish someone could help. Other than that, we are overall happy with the construction and the response to our concerns. Will definitely recommend Pulte to others but will be happy if the doors issue is taken care of.

Was a good experience. My realtor Pam was great. Very knowledgeable regarding the overall house purchase & process. All of the Pulte members that I engaged with were available when I had questions. Seth was also very helpful. Spoke with him frequently. Thank you for this opportunity to share my experience.

Tyler was excellent during our construction process. He has been very responsive and fixed issues that came up on the day of closing. This is our second Pulte build, Tyler was by far a better representation of Pulte value and trust than our last experience in 2017.

Overall experience is good, but could have been better if they would have fixed few things they marked during pre-walking and promised to fix them before closing..

Overall I am happy with my home. There are some small issues that are being resolved.

Pulte associates were all great to work with at each step of the buying & building process.

A good experience overall. Our sales rep was forthright and honest. Our construction manager stayed on top of construction issues, although he coulbetter communicator. communicator. Ultimately, we're very satisfied with the home.

Overall smooth process from initial contact through closing. I would recommend Pulte Homes . Only concern is with some of the sub contractors paying a little more attention to the detail in each portion of the building process.

Our home is beautiful and we feel we had good value and quality. Our issues have been primarily with communication towards the end of the build process. It seems this depends very much on who you have as we had excellent communication from our earlier contact point, sales manager, title company and mortgage provider.

Our build went pretty smoothly, although there were shortages of crews at times. Fortunately everything went smoothly in the first months, because there were delays near the end. Pulte crews are very fast and mostly did good work. It's important to keep an eye on quality near the end when everyone is in a hurry to finish... You need to be your own advocate. I would have given 5 stars, but the work done after close was frustrating, it took 2 months for the landscape work to wrap up. Our original field manager was not very responsive in this period, a new one took over and resolved our issues. Overall it was a good experience in a challenging year. Our move in date was about 6 weeks longer than initially communicated but with supply chain issues caused by Covid I know this is not unique to Pulte. During the build process, any concern that I raised was addressed by the field manager and communication was good. We moved in with a few incomplete items which we agreed to as we needed to be out of the house we sold. I would not recommend this to others if you can avoid it as it has been slow going getting to full completion and we are not there yet. The concrete sub contractor has been very slow to respond to any rework, once during the build, and now after move in for omission of tile under poured sidewalk which I ended up resolving on my own. It does not appear to me that Pulte has much leverage with the concrete sub but then as a customer, I certainly have no view of the big picture relative to work load. In general, all the subs did good work and a couple of them were amazingly efficient; roofing, drywall, electrical to call out the best. Our warranty manager has been good as we work through what I would consider a modest list but I can’t give final approval as we are currently about half way through the list. We signed a build contract in late November, ground breaking March 9, move in Aug 27, 9 months total. Although we have had frustrating moments, we are happy with our end product. ... More

Very nice house. Very nice folks at Pulte. The warranty manager is extremely helpful with any little issues that arise after closing. They definitely want you to be happy and take care of things to make it right.
