This was our 8th home/condo purchase in 50 years.. Pulte did a fine job thru the whole process. It was definitely one of our best experiences.

The finishing work work was horrendously bad: crooked, unfinished trim around the floors, doors that were not level, wall paint over spray on the floor, panels with over a half inch gap in the flooring that was filled in with a brown substance, missing handles on the drawers and cabinet doors, drawers installed with the wrong glides, unpainted end pieces on the cabinet trim, blinds improperly installed and with the wrong handles, door stops installed backwards which punctured the doors etc. Response from those responsible has been very late and the corrections that have been made so far have come with silly excuses as to why those items were left in the condition they were. Over all - cabinetry and fixtures are cheap and I don't expect them to last very long. If not for the constraints of location and timing I would not have bought the house. I can tell you I will not be recommending Pulte to any one and will certainly pass along my experience to those who ask. ... More

First, the sales representative is very rude in responding. Even after 40 days of closiystill there are lot of non weather related items pending.

The quality of materials was fair at best. Multiple repaints and touchups needed. The molding down the basement steps were gapping with a width at the bottom of 2.5 inches and top 1.5 inches. Was told this was the Standard with Poulti and local staff not allowed to change. As I write this we have handymen putting down molding for safety and a finished look. Our Handy men were shocked by the lack of finish. They were not complimentary with the product. One said if this was done right, I would not be here. We said we’d never build a new home as friends of ours told us it was very stressful. We are pleased to say that between the excellent help and steadfast communication between our realtor Monica at the Raines group in New Albany, Dana at Pulte Sales at Nottingham Trace, and Leigh the Construction Manager we had a wonderful experience and are now moved into our forever home. Our home is comfortable, beautiful and great quality. We feel confident they would deliver a stress free experience for you.

Lots of contact and support through the process of building. Whole Pulte team was very responsive to questions and concerns. Minor niggle is that the process of closing is very standardized and did not cope well with my somewhat non standard situation.

Awesome from start to finish, sales staff, to build manager, all played a part, were responsive and helpful, knew the process. Happy buyers here!

We have a leak in our ceiling (now with two holes in it), flooring damaged, garage door seal / weather strip damage, interior doors not shutting properly and one whole side of our garage is not powered. Not what you expect when moving into a model when the Pulte sales team worked here every day and had to notice / see all this.

We had many complaints after closing including gaps in the main door frame, internal doors not fitted properly, kitchen cabinets badly aligned with damages etc. In addition, quite a few of the order modifications were not done which had to be pointed out and followed up for closure. Fortunately the local team (Molly and Nathan) was helpful in getting these done.

The salesman was nice. J. And responded to most issues. I had a Realtor with Pulte Laura who I liked and she continued to contact me throughout the process and stayed with me till the end to make sure everything went through. Overall everything went through the home on the walk-through. We found several issues that needed to be fixed. They weren’t all fixed when we moved in And in contacting the company about issues that needed to be fixed I probably had about eight of them and they only responded to two. I was forced to close on an unfinished house due to year end 2022 situation with a written commitment from Tiffany, Manager of Sales team and commitment from onsite Construction engineer Michael. With in a week, Michael was laid off and there was no communication on new person until my follow ups and the response from Patrick was okay but he doesn't have a full understanding of what Michael has done or not done. I have given a list of Items from quality walk through to Final walk through and now Patrick has turned them over to Customer Service, no resolution, Got mail for customer Service, but no further follow up. After spending 900k on a whom, if Pulte is expecting me to do daily follow ups, I am sorry to say it is pathetic service. All I need is to resolve open issues from before closing to final walk through after closing as soon as possible. Worst thing to say is there is junk of plastic, bottles in sump pump and and mud, plastic and dead rat in egress window. Patrick knows about it to clean and promised to do so. But over all experience is not up to the mark I expected from Pulte. ... More

Pulte is a production builder. Did not realize initially that term had some negative connotations, including lack of flexibility and occasional poor workmanship and materials. Follow up and call back fixes are numerous and response is slow. Knowing what I know now, I would give give much more consideration to alternatives. My expectations may have been too high but it is what it is and trying to make the best of it.

Overall the experience was good. The end and closing was not ideal. We have several outstanding issues that still need addressed. The craftmanship of work is just ok. Mostly minor things, but when you build a brand new home, you should expect perfection. Most things are being made right, but to have this happen at the end, it less than ideal. We do love our home and are getting settled in, we just wish these things were attended to better.

Great experience, helpful and responsive team

Overall Tyler took care of us and fixed each issue. However the lack of attention to the little details, by the contractors, was annoying. I had to point out multiple small issue. Ex: Thermostat installed crooked. Light at bottom of stairs was installed partially into the stairwell. Floor vent hole cut crooked. Etc, etc…

They were great until you closed. So many problems but hopefully will take care of all the problems.

Overall the home was build within the defined timeline… there were delays here and there but those were minors so I am overall happy with the schedule…. Couple of options were changes during the process due to logistics issues but that’s not specific and in control to Pulte I guess… And once you commit to your options nothing can be altered thereafter… Good quality home and team on the ground is responsive but can’t say the same for there call center though…

Chris and Bryan worked with us on our build in Parkside. Both were openly communicative and available to answer questions and provide help whenever we needed it. Thank you both for making our home building process as stress free as possible!

Im having multiple issues with drywall, lighting, and the dryer not being installed properly. No sod has been a nightmare especially with a dog. The construction workers leave trash that blows all over the neighborhood. The blacktop on the driveway is crumbling.

We are in love with our new Pulte home. The whole process from start to finish was easy to navigate and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with!

The build process was ok, but the responsiveness of Pulte was substandard and there are still a lot of open issues month after closing. Don't recommend Pulte.

They have an excellent team to help you and make your home buying and moving in a pleasent experience.

Very responsive customer service from all pulte representatives! Build quality is solid, but there are some things that could have been cleaner. No issues impacting anything other than looks.

The designs are great. But beware contractors are below average and materials are fair.
