Unfortunately we became disillusioned with Pulte administration. From gaslighting to outright untruths. We felt rushed to pick out materials only to have delays six months later as items had not yet been ordered. We felt that Pulte was doing us a favor by building this house. Also, there was very little flexibility when we wanted to make a change but when Pulte made a change we were just supposed to go along with it.we also had multiple project managers. We had many complaints after closing including gaps in the main door frame, internal doors not fitted properly, kitchen cabinets badly aligned with damages etc. In addition, quite a few of the order modifications were not done which had to be pointed out and followed up for closure. Fortunately the local team (Molly and Nathan) was helpful in getting these done.

Customer service is given least importance. No response or delayed response after multiple follow ups and no resolutions to issues open from quality walk through and final walk through, even after a month of closing.

I was forced to close on an unfinished house due to year end 2022 situation with a written commitment from Tiffany, Manager of Sales team and commitment from onsite Construction engineer Michael. With in a week, Michael was laid off and there was no communication on new person until my follow ups and the response from Patrick was okay but he doesn't have a full understanding of what Michael has done or not done. My review comment is little less because of the below reasons. I am open to have a discussion if my comments are not valid 1. This house planned closing date was mid of Aug 2022 but closed on 28th Oct 2022. 2. Few issues were notified during the house construction and most of them are fixed and few of them are not fixed with no ETA (find the below detail) a. We were initially very excited to work with Pulte to build our home, but quickly saw that what matters most is not customer satisfaction, but the bottom line for Pulte. I understand that Pulte a business and profits are a part of that, but as the build progressed I was shocked by consistently shoddy workmanship. For example, we had multiple crooked walls that weren’t fixed on their own even though they were visibly crooked. We had to insist they be fixed. Don't be so excited to close, that you overlook items in your home that should be fixed, installed, or completed with the the highest quality before closing. Also if your gut tells you something should not be a certain way don't be afraid to question it and then follow up on it.

Horrible Construction Manager and sales rep

Since we are a first time home buyers, we wish we have known or did many things different while dealing with construction manager, he verbally promised to "take care" of the issues I had with the house on the closing day, during next week after the closing but their attitude changed as soon as the house is closed and was very unprofessional later on. had talked to warranty and they said I will have to note the issues down for the one year warranty one time fixes. Should have not closed until everything is fixed, big mistake.

The process started off well but went downhill starting with the mortgage process. Had things missing inside. Air conditioner had issues. They seem to care a lot in the selling process, but after built and in home it is not as great.

I had a very positive impression going with pulte homes but as it came near to the completetion of house, the type and amount of quality issues we came across is just frustrating and aggravating. 1, Spectrum drilled holes in my siding with out using them. I was told by Pulte to take care of it by myself. So I paid an outside contractor and was reimbursed by Spectrum. 2. My air conditioner and thermostat were not working properly, I called Arrow and they found out the circuit breaker for the Air conditioner was installed in backwards .3. Lot of quality issues and issues with workmanship. Even after the closing day there were lot of paints issues that were not fixed. I have talked with few others in community and their experience is similar. I driveway I understand it can’t be done because of winter time but they didn’t even remove the nails from driveway which caused 3 tire punctures and tire replacements for guests visiting the house. Cabinets not done properly and I am still waiting for them to fix after more than 45 days after closing. Overall not so great experience. They charge you a lot of money for simple upgrades ...

Pulte is a production builder. Did not realize initially that term had some negative connotations, including lack of flexibility and occasional poor workmanship and materials. Follow up and call back fixes are numerous and response is slow. Knowing what I know now, I would give give much more consideration to alternatives. My expectations may have been too high but it is what it is and trying to make the best of it.

Once I closed on my home many issues have been ignored. Front porch has large cracks, never heard about my driveway and grass installation. I had to pay to have my garage insulated and drywalled. After 2 months I have not received my trash receptacles. A little disappointed after purchasing a home for over $400,000

Now that we are in our home we see a major lack of attention to detail. Paint on flooring, trim and carpet. Adhesive in various places on flooring. Vinyl floor has an obvious slit that just had glue applied over that area. Caulk drips that won’t come off. Water damaged door. There is a lack of care for the new finishes in our home. A response to theses issues has been non existent so far.

We are a first time home buyers. We have zero knowledge on the upgrades and options. It would have been helpful if sales could have told about the major selling upgrades we would have gone with them. We miss a few now which we regret to not have them. Second, I felt Pulte is not fair to all home owners. They finished the garage of almost every home owner missing a couple and when asked about it they gave some crappy answers. My wife and I really enjoyed the design and build process, our sales representative and project manager were thorough and transparent. Just wish the final product would have been as perfect as the rest of the process. We have been in our house 2 months and so far we have had minor water intrusion in our basement, our AC went out, we are having minor electrical issues, and there are multiple cracks in our basement walls. To make matters worse, we have come to expect less than caring, some might say passive aggressive responses after emailing customer service with these issues.
