We are a first time home buyers. We have zero knowledge on the upgrades and options. It would have been helpful if sales could have told about the major selling upgrades we would have gone with them. We miss a few now which we regret to not have them. Second, I felt Pulte is not fair to all home owners. They finished the garage of almost every home owner missing a couple and when asked about it they gave some crappy answers. Pulte is not a custom builder. It’s quantity, not quality. There is an obvious lack of pride in workmanship amongst the trades and not much accountability from Pulte.

My wife and I really enjoyed the design and build process, our sales representative and project manager were thorough and transparent. Just wish the final product would have been as perfect as the rest of the process. We have been in our house 2 months and so far we have had minor water intrusion in our basement, our AC went out, we are having minor electrical issues, and there are multiple cracks in our basement walls. To make matters worse, we have come to expect less than caring, some might say passive aggressive responses after emailing customer service with these issues.

The salesman was nice. J. And responded to most issues. I had a Realtor with Pulte Laura who I liked and she continued to contact me throughout the process and stayed with me till the end to make sure everything went through. Overall everything went through the home on the walk-through. We found several issues that needed to be fixed. They weren’t all fixed when we moved in And in contacting the company about issues that needed to be fixed I probably had about eight of them and they only responded to two. We want to give this a higher rating but we just can't. Pulte tries hard to provide a quality home, and their floorplans are excellent, but the contractors just did such a poor job, which ruins the potential. Paint contractors had to come back out on MULTIPLE occasions and the quality of paint still to this day is amateur at best. The contractors installing trim did a bad job and still to this day there are peices of broken trim that was just painted over and never replaced. The sales people are great,design team does great job, building process could be better,in spite of waiting close to 9 months from giving deposit at closing time there are deficits in work and finish quality, once Pulte receives money at closing responsiveness of all vendors in correcting deficits before closing date takes back seat because they are so busy doing work on new homes , I guess Pulte got the money from you so where are you going to go.

The sales people were great! ! Seems like Pulte was doing the bare minimum to close on the house and promising to fix items that were missed. If you didn’t catch any problem on the walk through, they say it’s not covered. The quality of the finish work on walls and woodwork are not good. No accountability!

despair it and replace. it this makes the third time they have been here. two tones of brushed nickel. on shower glass frame. out of fairness they have a great process but it currently broke with the issues they currrently have with subcontractors and vendors.

The buying process was easy, the finance piece was easy and the people were great. However, once I moved in, I found multiple things broken or just poor (cheap) quality. I was so disappointed to move into a brand new home and find so many things that needed (and still need) to be fixed (inside and out). I've built with 4 other builders and lived in several other homes and this is the worst built home I've ever lived in (floor plan is great but everything feels so cheap). I could go on and on but I'll simply finish by saying I'm so very disappointed!!!

We moved in at the end of March...several items need fixed and we can hear in our kitchen everytime someone flushes the toilet upstairs..No insulation.. in walls...Kitchen cabinets doors are uneven...and I have big hole in my back yard and they keep putting dirt down for people who house was built after mine..Feel like since closing I don't matter.

Timely delivered but not happy with the quality of the material and lot of hidden things that weren’t explained during booking of home. On top of that, if we need to avail any service from the vendor, their charge is too high. Somehow I feel I paid much more and received the low quality home.

Lots of time and energy on the homeowner. Pulte project managers seem overworked so the only person keeping an eye out on your house is you. At the very minimum, we had to stop at our house once a week so we knew at least someone was monitoring quality. During our build, we told our project manager that our floors squeaked and was told by him that the floors would not squeak anymore once they install the LVP and carpet. WRONG! The process went smoothly until 2 weeks before closing. Then the wheels fell off. Construction, Title and Mortgage are not tightly aligned. Many issues arose relating to the backend processes we assumed were handled, but were not. Issue with an added soft water loop not properly detailed on the plans. Appears to be a major HVAC design issue/flaw that will need to be addressed. Communication during the transition to ownership wasn't what it should be. Use your own financing, not Pulte. They want you to close before everything is completed. Have someone experienced do your punch-out and don’t close before everything meets your expectations.

While designing our new home, everything has to be in the STANDARD choices, regardless of custom’s needs (health and safety issues)! After closing, all issues that I reach out to the customer service were pushed away to 3rd parties, none was resolved by the customer care department! We have spent more time and money to fix issues that they won’t help! I’m so disappointed!

Im having multiple issues with drywall, lighting, and the dryer not being installed properly. No sod has been a nightmare especially with a dog. The construction workers leave trash that blows all over the neighborhood. The blacktop on the driveway is crumbling.

First the walls are so thin that you can hear any conversation from one room to the other with the doors closed. Second, the finishing touches are simply the worst. Third, a large amount of things have to be redone, it never ends. After living at the house for some time now things are still trying to be corrected.

I understand in this economic climate there's a lot of "hurry up and wait" with subcontractors. A week before close you look at the house and think certainly it won't be ready. They then rush to close because they have to meet their month-end quotas. Two days before close we do a walkthrough ("Build Quality Celebration") and point out a lot of cosmetic, attention to detail issues. You then don't get another opportunity to inspect the house. Pulte picks such inefficient products to put in these new and costly homes. Items such as the hot water tank, garbage disposal, a/c, etc - they’re an appropriate size for an apartment, not $400k+ homes. It’s obnoxious to spend so much money on a new home only to have to deal with “below grade” products after the fact.
