Our move in date was about 6 weeks longer than initially communicated but with supply chain issues caused by Covid I know this is not unique to Pulte. During the build process, any concern that I raised was addressed by the field manager and communication was good. We moved in with a few incomplete items which we agreed to as we needed to be out of the house we sold. I would not recommend this to others if you can avoid it as it has been slow going getting to full completion and we are not there yet. The concrete sub contractor has been very slow to respond to any rework, once during the build, and now after move in for omission of tile under poured sidewalk which I ended up resolving on my own. It does not appear to me that Pulte has much leverage with the concrete sub but then as a customer, I certainly have no view of the big picture relative to work load. In general, all the subs did good work and a couple of them were amazingly efficient; roofing, drywall, electrical to call out the best. Our warranty manager has been good as we work through what I would consider a modest list but I can’t give final approval as we are currently about half way through the list. This was our first new home build, and Pulte was great through the entire process. We are so happy with our new home.

The builder's sales agent was very humble, respectful and helpful. She worked with us throughout the building process. The Constructors were also on point. They addressed all our issues in time and listened to our opinions. Overall great building experience. Pulte rocks.

Go to your house daily and make sure things are being installed correctly. Watch for sump pumps to be unplugged while construction is going on. Make sure the sump pump gets power all the time.

workmanship is mostly good...lot of small issues that were not addressed appropriately.

Very nice house. Very nice folks at Pulte. The warranty manager is extremely helpful with any little issues that arise after closing. They definitely want you to be happy and take care of things to make it right.

We love our new home!!! Our Pulte rep and general contractor were amazing! The communication through the process is constant and transparent.

We are a first time home buyers. We have zero knowledge on the upgrades and options. It would have been helpful if sales could have told about the major selling upgrades we would have gone with them. We miss a few now which we regret to not have them. Second, I felt Pulte is not fair to all home owners. They finished the garage of almost every home owner missing a couple and when asked about it they gave some crappy answers. I know about 8-10 people who didn’t go with an option of finished garage and they still got them. It was unfair. What I learned working with construction manager is, you should visit your construction site often, take notes every week and send to him and not go easy on him. If you go easy, you are gonna lose a lot of things and always keep everything in email (writing). Have had a lot of issues with labor shortages, back ordered products, and wanting us to close on an incomplete home. Still trying to get shutters since they are on back order but other identical homes are receiving theirs. Also told sod and landscaping might not happen until spring of 2022 and we moved in July 2021.

Great service from staff and timely construction

Our experience with Pulte Homes was excellent from the first moment we stepped into a model home. This is our third home build in 17 years and first with Pulte Homes. It could not have gone any better than it did. Our sales consultant Tiffany was very informative and upfront about all the challenges building in today's market. She was very responsive to questions and at no point were we pressured into any decisions. Once construction began, our PI Manager Josh was very professional and kept us informed of every step along the way. I was particulary impressed with the care and professionalism shown by the contractors who built the home. It was small things that they went out of their way to do with some Non-Standard Options showed that they took pride in the work. Josh was very welcoming of our input and requests during the construcation phase which was a first for us. The mortgage application process, while being what it is, went smoothly and both Donna our Loan Processor and Kathy our Loan Consultant were very courteous and responsive to our questions. The Pulte team, especially Nick, was fantastic and easy to work with! Nick was very responsive to emails and addressed any questions that we had. We are so grateful.

Del did an excellent job to make sure that everything is set for us to move in. Overall, I am blessed to have Del as my building manager.

Very good communication about the status of the building process.

The value is great! It would have been nice to know when things were happening to the outside. One morning we woke up to part of our driveway being ripped out without knowing what was happening. Also, it did take quite a while to get our landscaping and sod. That may be entirely supply chain related issues due to hyper demand. Obviously, that's understandable. Overall, highly satisfied.

Be cautious before signing contract. You will be locked once signed and no way you can negotiate or request of changes. Zero flexibility on minor customizations to home or options. Quality control is not good and often buyers find most issues before closing.

quality materials, great staff. delayed/late items that were incomplete at closing are taking very longer to complete.

Pulte is not a custom builder. It’s quantity, not quality. There is an obvious lack of pride in workmanship amongst the trades and not much accountability from Pulte.

We signed our contract in Aug. 2019, right in the middle of National covid issues. As a result, there were labor issues and supply chain issues along the way. In the end, our sales person and field manager worked very hard in ultimately delivering a quality house to us. We are overall very happy and would do it again.

The designs are great however construction phase was a challenge.

Bought this home after coming to know Pulte homes are good at construction and they take care customers well. Realized that they are no more as the community was sold out and they wanted to handover the pending homes soon and move out. It was supposed to be inventory home with upgraded materials and we did not have a chance to choose any further. Had poor laundry flooring, handrails, poor paint quality (know that we had to wait for a year to settle down, but the paint that I got was very poor quality). More than a month now after closing but there were many pending items and still not fixed. There were many missing items in the build (tissue holder, towel holder, towel ring), back side door entry door was fixed right in front of floor air vent. Some of the fixtures (done via contractors) had loose fittings, improper workmanship. One would think the field manager is the one who pulls over all contractors and inspect what is in the build and what was completed however we had to end up in telling him many missing things. Not sure how they would keep their promise of coming back after 1 year to inspect and fix things once the home settles down. ... More

Pulte pushes using their mortgage company, but they do not know what they are doing and do not communicate well. We waited for 4 months for a decision only to be rejected and told I had three weeks to get a full mortgage commitment or the entire deal would be voided. I had two mortgage approvals within two weeks. Building process was slow (6 months) with little to no communication until the end of the process. Multiple homes were started after ours and delivered weeks before. Even after 6 month build time, there are multiple outdoor items which need completed more than a month after closing. Overall the value was there due to an increasing market, but the length of transaction (10 months from signature to closing + 1 month later still waiting for landscaping and grass) and the lack of communication would make me hesitate to ever recommend building with Pulte ... Good quality and met the time lime as promised. After closing reported the water stagnant issue, not getting response.

The building portion of the process was great. No complaints. However, now that we have moved into our house the response is slow on getting something fixed. Very disappointed with that.

We did not have a great experience in buying this home as from the beginning we had issues with the Field Manager(not mentioning the name as requested).There has been times where we have pointed out many issues and it has been resolved after a lot of emails ( and arguments always happened not thru email but face to face) specially in the yard grading , water accumulation in front of the house in Caul-de -sac where mosquitos are breeding and not safe for the neighborhood(when we approached the customer care they mentioned that accumulation of water is because of Dandi bags .No dandi bag is there atall as all grass has been laid ,still there is water accumulation converted to slime), the AC vent does not cool the master bedroom. Apart from this anytime we bring issues to the Field Manager, instead of handling the situation he tells in front of other contractors working in the site that "we are putting words in the contactors mouth", he is "running out of explanation" etc etc. He talks in a very bad way and also regarding the grading issues in the backyard he said that even if we get it inspected from 3rd party contractor he will do nothing about it . Many of our friends have moved to Pulte because we always had great word but with personal experience we will never recommend it to anyone.
