Overall I am very pleased with my experience and home purchase.

For my particular development, the experience overall was great. From initial contact with the Sales Consultant to working with the Field Manager, every issue was addressed in a timely manner and very few "mistakes" were made by the third-party contractors during the build. I have noticed some issues inside after the build, but Pulte addressed them quickly and as others develop they will be covered under the warranties. For my first ever build, I don't think I could be happier.

Buying a new home can seem like a daunting life event but with the help of the team at Pulte buying my new home was an absolute breeze. The process was extremely well communicated, I chose all the finishes I wanted, we were done on time, and I couldn't be happier in my new home. Working with Pulte was the best decision I feel I could have made and if I had it to do over I would COMPLETELY choose to work with them again!

Ensure to receive the complete information regarding the quality of all the materials because we didn’t receive all of the details about our floor’s material.

The workmanship has been poor. While we were rushed into closing, many issues remained unresolved. There were many minor flaws. However, there were many major flaws requiring redoing/replacement of the following items. 1. Crooked windows - needed re-installment 2. Kitchen sink scratched - needed replacement 3. Front door peep hole drilled wrong - waiting for replacement 4. Master bath toilet door installed wrong - waiting for re-installment 5. Guest bath cabinet damaged - waiting for replacement 6. Master bath toilet did not function properly - after two service calls it is finally in working conditions with a warning that it may happen again 7. The heating system is not working well. The master bedroom area is very cold and we are barely managing by using extra heaters. With each of these being redone, we are going through lot of inconveniences. Looking for a new home started as a daunting process for me since it was first time going through it. However, Pulte really made it easy and helped every step of the way. I love the design of my home and the community around it, and feel like I have a comfortable grasp on what’s expected of me as a new homeowner.

We built a house in this community. We had great experience in interacting with the sale consultant, design consultant and construction manager. Everyone was patient and friendly, they listened to our need, were easy to communicate with. During the construction process, Construction Manager sent update at least biweekly or as often as needed, Responded to the questions or concerns that we had in a timely fashion. Builder did a nice work as they promised. Very trustworthy ! Our new house is beautiful and in good quality. Thank you, Pulte!

We had a great experience from contract time close. We didn’t have any major issues with the build process. Our project manager was extremely responsive and really Great at keeping us in formed the whole way.

We have experienced examples of poor workmanship in the construction of our new Pulte home at Lake Forest. Although Pulte is willing to provide subsequent repairs after failures are discovered, they show little interest in preventing errors in the first place since there is an obvious lack of quality control which allows substandard work to be provided to customers. Also, Pulte shows no interest in responding to significant inconveniences occurring during the repair process. This approach seems to be more focused on making the initial sale and employing subcontractors than on providing a positive experience for customers. Within TWO weeks of closing on our home, we experienced two examples of poor workmanship. First, we discovered a poorly installed electrical outlet (the one servicing the range) which had to be reinstalled. Luckily no damage resulted from this error, though we were unable to use the range for two weeks until the problem was discovered and repaired. We now worry about what we don't know about potential damage (fires??) caused by other poorly installed outlets. Second, we experienced a major failure of a fixture on the water main which resulted in a geyser spraying water into our brand new home for over an hour while we were out. We've since learned that two other homes in our neighborhood experienced similar plumbing failures. Of course, our home was still under warrantee so Pulte was obliged to repair the substantial damage throughout. With the obvious lack of quality control with Pulte construction, we find it impossible to trust the plumbing work throughout the home and continue to worry about what else may occur. In addition, Pulte has not shown an interest in alleviating the significant inconvenience we suffered (lack of sleep while dehumidifying equipment ran 24hrs/day and the electrical cost of running it, extra cost of wasted water, diminished home value, vacation days spent hosting contractors, etc.) while reconstruction and repairs took place, demonstrating little interest in providing a positive experience for the customer. Both of these experiences demonstrate to us that Pulte is more interested in making a sale and ensuring employment for their subcontractors than they are with providing a quality product and positive experience to their customers. ... Great people and amazing home

From the first look at the model home in Sycamore Creek, through the building process, the finance process, and waking up this morning in my new home, I would enthusiastically and 110% recommend Pulte!

The house is beautiful, but some of the workmanship is subpar. Uneven caulking and grouting, grout not wiped from tile, nicks in the cabinets, a crack in my porch from day one. Then I learned my furnace was installed incorrectly, causing parts to be replaced. I was told that every house on the street has the same problem. I’m still waiting for it to be fixed. Not to mention that my downspout drains are not yet in, and I have no grass or landscaping. This is what happens when you hire random crews to work over each other; attention to detail is lost.

Pulte is generally a good builder. The rating for quality of the materials and workmanship should be separated in my opinion. The quality of the materials is generally great. The workmanship is average or on occasion, less. The warranties they offer are excellent and are the reason I gave 4 stars for the "value for the price paid." We experienced a variety of problems both during the building process and after moving in. I think it is hard to rate the entire company lumped together, because some of the people we worked with went above and beyond, while others struggled to communicate well.

We love our new home and we have had quick responses for things that needed addressed.

This is our second new home build (1997 and 2019). We built an "Ascend" model home with Pulte and moved into our new home in early October. The construction and layout are awesome. Pulte has taken convenience into consideration in their home designs. The upgrades are a bit pricy from our taste but have been well worth it.

We feel it is a good buy though we might have played more. Customer service is great.

I wish they were more responsive to fix minor issues.
