The company refuses to solve any of the problems you point out about the homer unless you get someone who is very knowledgeable to argue with them. Things such as bumps all over the floors and a gaping gap between the floor and the parking garage door, half an inch crevice between the stove counter, walls that are protruding by about 1-2 inches, which are all normal according to Pulte. The small problems involves a crooked oven and microwave, which is useable but it could look better. Another is random nails missing from door hinges, which again is useable, but really could just not forget the nails maybe? Either way, I understand there may be problems with a new build, either due to lack of attention from the workers (they had beer cans all over the place when we came to check the unbuilt house), or unpreventable problems like shrinkage, but I really do not like being told obvious problems are "normal". ... We did not have a great experience in buying this home as from the beginning we had issues with the Field Manager(not mentioning the name as requested).There has been times where we have pointed out many issues and it has been resolved after a lot of emails ( and arguments always happened not thru email but face to face) specially in the yard grading , water accumulation in front of the house in Caul-de -sac where mosquitos are breeding and not safe for the neighborhood(when we approached the customer care they mentioned that accumulation of water is because of Dandi bags .No dandi bag is there atall as all grass has been laid ,still there is water accumulation converted to slime), the AC vent does not cool the master bedroom. Apart from this anytime we bring issues to the Field Manager, instead of handling the situation he tells in front of other contractors working in the site that "we are putting words in the contactors mouth", he is "running out of explanation" etc etc. He talks in a very bad way and also regarding the grading issues in the backyard he said that even if we get it inspected from 3rd party contractor he will do nothing about it . Many of our friends have moved to Pulte because we always had great word but with personal experience we will never recommend it to anyone. I would never recommend this builder based on quality of work and I would never suggest using their finance group.

Low quality contractors, work completed is subpar for the money spent.

1. Sales person have NO sales experience and ZERO Knowledge home sales or options. 2. Sales person is very arrogant, NOT trustworthy, fabulist, her ultimate goal is MAKE MONEY in sales NOT providing accurate information. Lot of options were missed during the final selection process. This is very evident including- Pulte staff agrees with these comments. 3. Even though I had a realtor, in the final sales documents sales person did not include the realtor. 4. The Options were selected based on Model, but blu prints were developed completely different. ALL SURPRISES. 5. Does not provide option list for a selected home. Need to make separate trip for every question. 6. Sales person Sends threatening emails, this is unacceptable. 7. The first meeting with Field Manager, sales person ask for signing paper work from customer, then you add the text. Basically it a forgery. 8. The Model home and the blue prints are different, sales person or field manager cannot able to support to have chandelier as per the Model. 9. The substandard material - like lumber, windows, doors, baseboards, cabinets, appliances and several more. 10. The paint is a Joke, when you rub the wall, one can see the drywall. 11. Workmanship- the windows are crooked. Lots of squeaky floors, basement was flooded for several days, the floor is discolored. Adjacent Model Model next to my home is an example, due to that reason the basement is getting painted in grey. The entry had lot of scratches during the building process, the field manager should fix them. 13. Cutting the corners every aspect, did not clean and power wash the basement. 14. Bathrooms spout were broken. 15. The Whirlpool microwave and oven stopped functioning on the Day one after move in. 16. Cabinets upgrade -2 option material quality is worst. 17. Poor workmanship quality. 18. Option prices are very high with Substandard material. 19. Beware of sales person forgery practice. ... More
