Our home buying experience with Pulte was great. Tiffany the sales representative and Josh the Field Manager really did a great job and was extremely fun to work with. The quality of the workmanship and materials at this point I would have to rate somewhere in the middle. I absolutely love the home however, the paint and drywall in several areas needs to be corrected. In addition, to smaller items. Trustworthiness, again Josh was great and he always completed the task how he said he would. As our primary point of contact he was great to work with! The reason for only 3 stars is because of my interaction with HVAC company that came out to my home to complete our warranty issue. The guy was extremely rude and I asked him to leave. Value for the price we paid. Perhaps this is more of a reflection of the Columbus Ohio housing market. But from an investment perspective, the base price of our home has increased by 30k since Feb. In addition, the 2 appraisals that we had completed in July and August by two different banks ( we found better pricing outside of Pulte Mortgage that they couldn't match) was 40K higher than our purchase price! With our home being the third closing in the new section; and with the majority of closings happening over the next three to four months I would assume our value will increase significantly! Responsiveness to issues. Like any new home you're going to notice items once you actually get into the house. Our home is no exception to this rule. Several items I'm still waiting to get corrected. But I trust that they'll be done soon. The HVAC sub was useless but Pulte Warranty did offer to come out and review the issues that I'm having. Nothing too major but at this price point I expect to have issues remedied fairly quickly. ... More

The sales rep was 100% helpful and had great insight on all the details about the house. There was several missed steps that's still not addressed until today November 3rd 2021. We still need our drywall fixed in the basement due to the fact that the shut off vile was drywalled in. And the plumbing guys cut an opening atop of the ceiling that needs fixed. Also we're still waiting on the drywall guys to bring a piece of the part to cover the vent in the non finished part of the basement. We have doors that still needs sanded down and smooth out at the bottom of the doors. There's also doors splitting at the bottom of the doors along with our farm sink that's chipping. The customer service is very very slow in responding to issues that needs addressed. Several things still needs addressed. The quality of craftsmanship is poor. ... More

Everyone we worked with was aamzing: Nick Pishitelli(Construction Manager), Sam Boehen (Sales), and Raymond Suiter(Customer Service). They were always available to chat and help us with any questions or requests we had. We just wanted the design studio appointment to allow us some flexbility with out choices. The 2 hr window for even cosmetic choices like Paint seemed a bit too early in the process without the option to change. Otherwise, all aspects of our home buying process were amazing.

Not crazy about having to do so much on-line. I prefer face to face interaction.

Our home buying experience with Pulte was overall very positive. They have always been very courteous and responsive to all of our needs, even after we moved into our new home. The quality of our home is, generally, very good. There have been minor imperfections but those have been taken care of or will be taken care of in the near-future. That said, in our opinion the quality of some of the fittings and fixtures leave much to be desired. From electrical fittings to locks and bathroom fittings, the quality is not a good value for money paid (even after all upgrades). We are having to change several of these fittings to our own choices, as a result. Also, there is very little space between adjacent houses - obviously an attempt to squeeze in more profit by selling more houses in the available space. The conclusion is that the personal side of things dealing with Pulte Homes people is excellent but the value one gets for money is not quite as good. ... More

At the design center, a small sample does not giving a same view as final product in the house, and result may be not as an expectation!

Drew/Logan/Karl were super helpful throughout this home buying experience. We are loving our home so far and are looking forward to the memories made in the Limestone Ridge Community.

House is nice, most of the workmanship is good, a couple of things I was told were not accurate

The experience was awesome but Pulte Mortgage underwriter was over the top nosey, intrusive and over the top with personal information

Positive experience with pulte home, I will recommend

The floor plan is excellent. Nice lot selection. Good selection of finishes at design center. Good value compared to other builders and developments. In many cases the finishing work was sloppy, trim poorly done. We had put in an order change request for master bath tile and the tile installer put in the standard tile. It took weeks to get it fixed. We got the base paint color on the first floor and an upgrade on the second. On a walkthrough, the first floor had the wrong color paint. Told manager. They painted a second coat in the same wrong color and wanted us to approve it. We did not. It did get fixed but you can still see it where the walls meet the ceiling. Despite Pulte setting the closing date-the house was not ready for closing. Some of the lights did not work. One overhead light package had not been installed (but was corrected immediately after settlement). Exterior work had not been completed, yard had not been graded, house hadn't been cleaned and it was a mess. Even after their post settlement cleaning, we were still scraping paint off the floor. We had set up contractors to come and do additional work, so it was not practical to move closing back so we had them escrow funds until work was completed. ... More

We were very happy on closing day, and things we brought up were generally addressed. But now that we’ve been here for a month, we keep finding minor workmanship issues that have us concerned for the longevity of the home. We enjoyed this process overall. Hopefully we don’t find too many more issues that would change our minds about that in the coming months.

Lots of options to fit different budgets. Fastest builder in the Columbus area with other builders quoting 10 month build time while Pulte completed in 6 months. Process is fast so need to make decisions quickly and limited ability to change options. Overall happy with our decision to go with Pulte.

I was very pleased with our sales and project managers’ communication throughout the process. They were responsive and quick to help with any question or issue that came up. They also kept us in the loop if there were any milestones or changes. Loved working with them!

Pay attentionas some of the contractors work was shoddy

Our initial overall experience has been positive. We have only been in the home a little over one month and have been happy with our home. My rating may change once we have settled in, but as of now, I would recommend Pulte.

As a first time home buyer my experience with Pulte homes was great they made things very simple from getting Insurance to getting Mortgage. Interest rates offered by Pulte Mortgage was incomparable with any of other builders out there in market during this tough times.

Overall Tyler took care of us and fixed each issue. However the lack of attention to the little details, by the contractors, was annoying. I had to point out multiple small issue. Ex: Thermostat installed crooked. Light at bottom of stairs was installed partially into the stairwell. Floor vent hole cut crooked. Etc, etc…

Overall the home was build within the defined timeline… there were delays here and there but those were minors so I am overall happy with the schedule…. Couple of options were changes during the process due to logistics issues but that’s not specific and in control to Pulte I guess… And once you commit to your options nothing can be altered thereafter… Good quality home and team on the ground is responsive but can’t say the same for there call center though…

Very responsive customer service from all pulte representatives! Build quality is solid, but there are some things that could have been cleaner. No issues impacting anything other than looks.

The overall experience was good. We were able to monitor the process frequently and were provided information and updates about the status from the construction manager. The closing date was 3-4 weeks later than the estimated, however. The condition of the house is good and any issues are being dealt by the builder

The Pulte people were fantastic. This is the 4th home that I have built over my lifetime of 64 years, and this may have been my best experience up front. Compared to my other homes though, the workmanship has been more problematic, but the issues are really only slight things. I hesitate to say anything, because of the smallness, but this is the highest cost and nicest home compared to my others, but came with more problems. I am speaking of things like electrical outlets not working and heating vents that do not operate, and lots of paint left on the floors. I wonder why they didn't test when installed and cleaned up better, but I chalk it up to too few people to maintain standards (shortage of workers). I can understand that, so I would say that I am content. The landscaping is not well at all, so I wish that I would have had a contact for help or discussion. Still overall, the people and their efforts on my behalf greatly outweigh the negative stuff, and I am very pleased. ... More
