The Estates at La Cuentista come highly recommended! From the super convenient and highly commutable location to the quality of the build and our amazing construction manager, Eric... We cannot say enough great things! As with any new Pulte build, you can customize from the ground up or you can fall upon a great deal with a move in ready spec-home. No matter which way you go, you will be amazed by the thought and workmanship put into the build. All Pulte homes in our community come with an open, spacious floor plan and living area to accommodate any size family as well as a great space for entertaining. Pulte uses quality materials and contractors as high end finishes and offers a superior warranty. I was skeptical about getting warranty work done after our close date but I am amazed with the simplicity and commitment they have in ensuring everything is perfect. Becky is our contact for warranty work and she is extremely prompt to respond to our concerns and always follows up to ensure open items are taken care of. Our kitchen has ample counter and cabinet space and the bathrooms are also nicely appointed with countless finish options. Two of my favorite standard features about are home are the high ceilings (total jaw-dropper) and the Taexx Pest Control lines. If you've never heard of Taexx but hate bugs inside the home, look it up and you will be impressed! And the topper of it all, La Cuentista is a gated community so it's super safe, quiet and impeccably clean! It is also close to a number of top rated public and private schools. They build on time and delivered a quality home as promised and nice to work with Pulte

Our overall home buying experience was great. The build quality is great, we purchased a town home that was built as a model home, so it had been completed for a bout a year before we moved in. It was reassuring that home had sat through a year’s worth of Western Washington weather and did not have any issues. We had a 3rd party home inspector inspect the house and there were no major issues found. The site construction manager Jeff, was very helpful through out the entire process. He met with us for our pre closing inspection walk through and explained all of the features of the home and the attention to detail that went into every phase of the building process. Jeff was quick to answer all of our questions and continued to check in with us after we closed and moved in to make sure there were not any other issues that were discovered. I purchased this home in good faith and that their would be a clear line of communication throughout the whole process when it came to any issues. At first things look promising and was assured if any issues occurred they would be resolved in a timely manner. The overall home is good, but the quality of the material used and workmanship lacks. Example if you spray the home walls or doors, but touch up common area spots with a brush or roller its noticeable. Another issue is touching up spots with multiple coats of paint leads to it just pealing off especially in areas where there is friction like doors and door frames. Quality of material like the trim lacks in common areas. Example using trim pieces with noticeable chips and dents and not fixing/filling in or using quality pieces makes common areas look bad. I closed on 09/23/24 and moved in 10/26/24. Giving the builder and their team time to address the issues. I have had floors, doors and trim fixed due to water leaking into the home, but the work has not been finished. Its been 2 weeks since and no communication/follow up has been received even after contacting the builder. I understand things will occur over time, but leaving unfinished work is not good business or practice especially when there was no follow up. It has been one week since moving in this home and I find more workmanship and materials issues than anything else. I appreciate Pulte providing this additional survey as previous surveys I completed were given better ratings, but as things progressed, I am glad I have the opportunity to provide additional feedback, ... Issue after Issue, from the heat not working to the doorbell and garage door opener not working. How did the house pass inspections??? I will hire an inspector to find what else is wrong.

Called in 2 issues so far and builder refuses to come and take care of issues, making excuses to refuse taking care of warranty work

The sales team and project managers are great, but things went downhill after closing. The quality of vendors/trades used to work on this home were of a low quality. The drywall is sloppy, my slider leaks/is missing panels to keep insects out and there is debris on top of all of my cabinets. There is paint all over my carpet and upstairs window exteriors. The warranty representatives are not helpful. I work in the home building industry and truly disappointed in my experience.

The beginning and end of the experience was great. I had a great time working with our initial sales agent and the build quality teams. My house is well made and everything was documented and covered properly, I felt like I knew my home before I walked in and closed and I feel happy with what I got out of the process. That said, there was considerable churn during the middle of the process. The mortgage team (who was also fantastic) didn’t have clear communication from the sales team on when the property would be ready and the initial timelines the sales team gave us were very off. I know that this is part of any builder home process, but the sales agent we worked with changed several times and it wasn’t until several months had passed our initial ready date that things started to iron out and become clear. To reiterate, on the whole I am very satisfied with how this process was handled due to the end result - I got the home I wanted. Thought Pulte was a better builder. My opinion…. Texture walls are terrible…. No linen closet in my model…..only the most expensive package comes with a cabinet over the refrigerator….,landscaping is atrocious.

Was not able to do final walk through. They were very fair completing repairs.

The home buying experience was easy. After I moved in, it was a different story. The first few days identified several issues with the brand new home not being ready for me as I was assured it would be. Dishwasher not connected, washing machine and dryer not connected, water heater not programmed. A/C not working in half the house because they did not open the vents in the attic…when the tech went into the attic, we also discovered the lights had been left on. Other issues: caulking missing in corner of living room and I had a red ant invasion and had to have an exterminator. Google doorbell installed by a Pulte vendor but not with the right transformer so it won’t ring inside the house (3 weeks since reporting it and I am waiting for repair). Two ceiling fans have high pitch squeals and have to be replaced. Very disappointing and frustrating experience. ... More

Love the home. Very high quality. Price reasonable for the times.

Dennis, the sale person did not do good job. Although, I have requested the closing date to be before the September 15th. I communicated with him via email, text but the closing date was set as 9/18. I was very unhappy how Dennis and his boss(Susie) handled the issue.

Fit and finish poor would be a dream house if fit and finish had of been half decent

Our home buying experience with Pulte was overall very positive. They have always been very courteous and responsive to all of our needs, even after we moved into our new home. The quality of our home is, generally, very good. There have been minor imperfections but those have been taken care of or will be taken care of in the near-future. That said, in our opinion the quality of some of the fittings and fixtures leave much to be desired. From electrical fittings to locks and bathroom fittings, the quality is not a good value for money paid (even after all upgrades). We are having to change several of these fittings to our own choices, as a result. Also, there is very little space between adjacent houses - obviously an attempt to squeeze in more profit by selling more houses in the available space. The conclusion is that the personal side of things dealing with Pulte Homes people is excellent but the value one gets for money is not quite as good. ... More

I moved in my dream house 2months ago Everything went smoothly from beginning to end Working with Howard from sales office was first step And construction manager Justin and Rick was very professionally helpful I thank them!

Everyone was great prior to closing. During my pre-closing walk through I identified several things that needed to be addressed, and the project manager promised that they would be done the day of or after closing. They were not, and many still have not been addressed 2 1/2 months later. In addition, I uncovered multiple additional issues with sloppy workmanship after closing and submitted requests for them to be addressed, they were no acknowledged. I escalated when I had AT&T come to install my internet and found that there was no conduit so internet couldn't be established. At that point, the Project Manager's supervisor met with me and again promised that Pulte would take care of everything within a week. That was a month ago and the only item that has been addressed is the internet. I have made several follow-up calls and have yet to get any results. I was told that the Project Manager would call me last week. I am still waiting on that call. Given the price point of my home (over $800K list) that I should be dealing with sloppy workmanship. In addition, I am very disappointed in the lack of pride in workmanship, lack of customer service and lack of responsiveness. ... More

Confidence in the builder and the quality

We have moved 4 times in 3 years and Pulte has been the best. We have had 2 bad experiences with two other home builders. Be careful of who you buy from!

Linda, our Sales Person, was always helpful in answering our questions and showing us the information that we requested. Jeremy, our builder liaison, throughout the finishing process has shown professionalism and the willingness and follow-up to complete items that were requested..

From the initial appointment to after closing, Pulte has shown that they care about the people buying and living in their homes. With thousands and thousands of individual pieces of construction materials coming together through dozens and dozens of workers and trades, issues are bound to happen with any home. Pulte has sought at every turn to keep us informed and make it right. We love our forever home. The Pulte homeowners on our street have the best construction and the least amount of problems.
