We were expecting a more seamless and by far a less frustrated home buying process. From a delayed start of construction date to a delayed closing due to a lower appraisal, we have to rank this process lower than our previous purchase years ago with another seller.

Faron Seibel was very efficient in responding to questions. He was highly knowledgeable of the building process.

Paint in home could be a better quality.

While the home by experience was great. Once I moved in, I figured a majority of the items that need to be corrected on our walk-through would have been done. During the construction process, I was visiting the house probably every other day if not every day. After the walk-through, they only fixed or corrected one item off the list for an entire week. Since then I still have 99% of everything on my list not complete completed nor scheduled to be completed and it’s very frustrating. I even have ceiling lights that there is no light switch for so that can’t be used. Very disappointed.

The quality of construction much lower then expected. Pulte uses the cheap materials, the worst appliances such as refrigerator, dish washer, dryer. Subcontractors don't know how to connect it the right way. Most walls are not level, tapers do inside corners of the wall as round, joint tape is visible, painters pint with dirty rollers that all walls have dust under the pain, base bords painted over the dirt from the not swiped floors. Electricians can't install outlets in one level, all outlets above the counter top in different level up to 1" and 1/2. Carpenters installed all doors not level. Entrance door 1/2" of level and can't be closed properly. AC installer doesn't know how to run duct system, some rooms have no air flow some rooms blow air as it hurricane. I can continue with the quality of Pulte construction more, just wondering if anybody cares. ... More

If at all possible be around the construction process, especially the last walk through. Obtain a dedicated responsible realtor to help.

Andra and Steven were so pleasant and kind to help walk me through getting my house built just the way I wanted it. If I had a question or needed anything from them they were back with me with in a very short time. I will totally tell anyone I know looking for a house to got to Pulte. I love my house and I did not have any problems at all. My house was built even before they time that I was told, which was just awesome.

The buying from agent and interior designer was excellent. Not thrilled with pulte mortgage. Little details overlooked but big stuff was mostly right in the build itself. Garage walls not quite square (internal).

I built two Salerno model homes in 2024, closing on both within six months of each other. If I had known what the quality of workmanship would be, I would not have had Pulte build these two homes even though the location was spectacular. I could write a very long review with the problems but mainly I would have to say poor quality of subcontractors. Paul, the building supervisor who took over for Trevor and Glenn tried his best and cared but had way too much to deal with. If it weren't for Paul I would not have closed on the homes. Short list of issues were: Two roof leaks one home. Unprofessional interior paint jobs with drips of paint spread all over the tile in both homes, including bathtubs. Painting both interiors without vacuuming drywall dust. Surround sound rear speakers in both homes not working. Grout in tile of one home was missing in so many spots. Electrical issues. Drywall issues. Outdoor front yard sprinkler system leaks causing plants to die. Both homes had to hire my own landscaper to fix. Fire Sprinkler heads in ceiling falling off continuously. Gas Stove top in one home working and took three visits to finally fix. A/C duct not hooked up to vent so cool air blowing into the attic of dining/ktichen. ... More

Lack of training for consultants that are selling the homes. Post build cleaning is not adequate for move in. Dusty , countertops dirty and windows dirty. Company pushes for a 10/10 in order to close on home. Comes back to fix or correct things afterwards.

Liza was great showing different floor plans. She was very quick to respond with any questions.

Luckily we had a great supervisor that listened to all of our asks, but the work that came never fulfilled our level of quality we were expecting. Everything seemed extremely rushed all the way to closing. In the end we do have a beautiful home that I’m sure most people visiting will not notice the imperfections. I however will notice them until I can go back and fix them. Just not what I was hoping for on a house over $1M.

Stephen was a kind a human, caring, and excellent at his job. We are truly lucky to have been paried up with him and with Pulte homes!

We recently completed a new build with Pulte, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! From the initial design phase to the final walk-through, the team exceeded our expectations in every way.

I can’t say enough positive things about my overall buying experience with Pulte from the Sales office, the loan team to the building management and construction. Everyone was professional, courteous, respectful and just a pleasure to work with. Things went smoother than I expected and my home is top tier. It’s all in the details, thoughtfully constructed and designed. It’s obvious the home is built with quality and care from the crown moulding and pictures in the hallway to all of the unit details. Everything feels spacious due to the 9’ ceiling to the master bath and massive walk in closet. I’m living in luxury at its finest on the top floor with a stunning view of the wooded pine trees. I feel like I’m in a floating treehouse. My home checks all of the boxes. I cannot imagine a more perfect home for me and I’m so thankful everyday for all of the amazing people that have helped me thru this process in ensuring my hopes and dreams into a new home is as wonderful as I had envision. The houses are overpriced for the quality of materials and workmanship. Every place in the house shows that the construction was rushed. Multiple things damaged which are getting fixed but it just generates a sense of frustration on why these were not addressed before closing - why not get things right in the first place. Issues pointed out by inspectors are often ignored. There is a blatant disregard for the house owners work schedule where some of the third party vendors show up at random times or just keep pushing schedules at will. Pulte installed the sod 1-2 days before closing so that they can save money on the cost to water it. Pulte is just here to maximize profit by overpricing their houses and trying to rush the customer to buy and somehow close the house. I would highly recommend going with a better builder even if you have to initially pay slightly more - not worth the harassment. There is no professional standard here. ... More

I moved few months ago and I have had several issues with the quality of workmanship and customer service of Pulte. They are nice houses from outside but after moving in you will realize the quality of their work is horrible. We had work through with the builder who promised to fix the issues found. Sounds like a nice guy but nothing gets done. The vinyl flooring has a lot of bubbles, had issues with electrical outlets not working and some missing in living room, a lot of cracks outside the house some were repaired but no painting done. I have been emailing back and forth with customer service and nothing gets done. No one cares. It took the city inspector who came to inspect my EV charger who noticed the electrical issues, to call them about the electrical outlets not working and not within the code. The electrician then came within 30 minutes, after I have been trying to have them fix the problem for a month. I now have a 3 holes on the dry wall that they cut open and I’m waiting on someone to fix that. My overall experience with pulte is, as soon as you move in to their house you are on your own. They just care about themselves and houses they haven’t sold. I know new houses have problems, but the quality of workmanship and customer service is not the best. Eric the sales rep was great. He took many calls from me even when he was off. Very trustworthy. Evoke told me was true. He honored all commitments. We could not be happier.

Salespeople were amazing, also the closing department was the best I’ve experienced. Amazing team work all around!!!

We are having issues from the day signing the contract as not much information shared on lot grading. We have to dig in and research rather depend on pulte. And also they gave outdated appliances which is not worth for the price.

I recently purchased a new Pulte home at the Northbridge Community at Babcock Ranch. I have been here for 5 weeks and am very happy. The whole process from the purchase to the move in and the follow up has been excellent. I have dealt with responsive and professional people including Jim L and Alex C. I have no complaints or any reservations in recommending my community and the Pulte representatives I have dealt with.

Had an amazing experience with my new home build from Pulte. Sales agent Angela and construction manager Carlos always kept us up to date with the progress. The build quality is great and we're very happy with our new home.

Pulte builds a good home but they rigidly control their building techniques and do not look favorably upon changes. It’s, “The Pulte Way” or no way. I was surprised by this.
