The experience was great. I had updates every step of the way. It was a long 6 months of waiting for my home to be built but I loved the process. Everyone was informative and answered all the questions we had.

Our home buying experience was great from the minute we met our sales rep to the day we picked-up our house keys! Every team member was knowledgeable, respectful, and always responded quickly to our questions and concerns. After we moved in the follow-up to make sure all was well was excellent. We were very impressed with the whole organization.

Pulte salesman Bryan was so easy to deal with, and he explained everything and answered all questions. He was exceptionally patient and knowledgable, and went above and beyond during the entire process. Construction Manager, also named Bryan was also exceptional. He explained every detail of the building process and was immediately available to answer all calls and texts. I give them both 5 Stars!

Hello, Please be aware that Chris the Construction Manager made my experience as an out of town Buyer seamless and without stress. He answered all my questions at walk through and followed through with everything that needed to be corrected. He texted and sent me pictures showing this, even after Closing and after I had gone back to my home state. I am a realtor of 18 years and can highly recommend all the professionals at Pulte I interacted at with.

This is my 3rd and final Pulte home purchase. My first house in 2003 was amazing built. The quality was remarkable. My second house in 2019 was aweful quality. The cheapest possible to get buy. The 3rd and final was the worst yet. Anything to save .10 somewhere. Las Vegas has the worst quality of water due to hardness and they did not include a water loop which is very expensive to install later. Unacceptable. The upgrades were things that could easily be upgraded later and they put the cheapest items in that cannot be replaced or upgraded like a stainless steal ugly sink. Soft close cabinet doors but not drawers. Ridiculous. You can easily change out hinges or add plungers but drawers cannot be changed that easily. The price does not equal the price. Obviously want to make money with no real concern for quality of life. I’ll be looking for something else from someone else moving forward. ... More

Title office was excellent. Project manager is exceptional.

Love my place, especially location. Was told while originally looking how they use high quality products and make sure everything is installed to perfection. I have paint splatters on my counter tops and floor that was never cleaned up before closing. My floor is starting to lift in places and I only moved in a couple weeks ago. The title company was unprofessional and not good at replying to questions or informing me of steps. The constructions managers, especially Paul and Bryan were amazing!

I’ve had a few issues with quality of materials and craftsmanship. Bathroom door hinge screws all stripped out. S so the door fell off. Two interior door handles fell off. Had issues with water sensor triggering. So A/C wouldn’t work. I’m sure there are more issues to come. Also, warranty work is only done 9am-5pm. Guess when I work??? So they won’t come to fix things when I’m home.

There were a variety of floor plans and options to choose from, making the design center experience enjoyable. Receiving email updates with pictures of the building process was a nice touch. The final walkthrough before closing was a helpful opportunity to identify any issues to address before completing the sale.

We would NOT buy a Pulte home again. Not all bad. Our builder was good, but sales team were liars and deceivers. We were sold a lot on a small lake/ pond that retained water when we bought it. Our contract even called it a lake lot. Then a couple months later, Pulte informed us it would not retain water. It was now going to be a Detention pond. Warranty department very slow in responding to simple issues and then telling me that my Ring door bell that never worked was a Do It Yourself warranty return. HOA management chosen by Pulte charges ridiculous fees to review plans for additions to home, and does not respond in a timely manner. Their restrictions are way too strict. Pool and recreation area was suppose to be completed 2 months ago is still not done. As we meet our new neighbors, we are finding that they are also having the same bad experiences. After you close on your new home, Pulte homes divorces itself from you. All they want is their profits. Also, if you try to call Pulte homes to complain, you cannot reach anyone, and no one will call you back. Beware of this terrible company. ... More

Home was not clean after closing; never received a welcome package with information pertaining to water, electricity, HOA, etc. Loan was sold to an extremely horrible mortgage company without notice.

We love our new home in Turtle Creek!! From start to finish, CJ made the home buying process very easy. We had total trust and confidence in her!! During the building process and even after closing, Luke and Nick were very responsive to our questions and addressing any issues that may have come up.

Buying with Pultie Homes gave us the security of knowing our home was built well. The guarantees are the best in the industry and response to issues are timely. Everything went smooth from signing contract, walk through and closing

Extremely poor communication with regards to the "REAL" time frame for completion of the home build. They'll tell you what you want to hear at the time, but that's usually all it was. Telling you what you want to hear. Another very aggravating part of the home building experience was really not knowing precisely what you're building. They give you almost NO information about the exterior look of your home. What I'm referring to is the placement of windows wells, the number of window wells, and the actual look & grading of your lot. We have one window well that is placed on the side of the back wall that is almost 5 feet below the patio level. Rain washes dirt & mulch down into the well. We also had to place a window well cover on this well & there is literally 3 feet of window still exposed & open!!!!!! Never did seem like a normal placement but we were told that it wouldn't have passed the Lemont inspection if it weren't up to code. Finally, after an almost 14 month ordeal, we were just relieved to finally be moving into our new home. We probably should have questioned items like the window well & also a few other issues but I think we were just so worn down by the whole experience that we just wanted to be finished!!!! ... More

Weekly updates during build were excellent and included pictures. Found many issues after move in but are being addressed as needed.

I had concerns about changes to house design exterior after contract signed that I was not informed of. Also not sure of selection of HOA is a Pulte matter or not, but I have many concerns about the CC&Rs that do not seem flexible and should have been more fully explained at time of disclosure of those documents. As an example; I really liked the landscaping of the Parklane model and wanted that design which apparently is not within design approval set forth in the HOA documents. Perhaps some disclaimers should be disclosed to potential buyers before contract signed. It seemed like I got reassigned to several different contact people throughout the process of building which made it confusing. ... More

My story is too long to tell about the finance division, but I felt like I was watching a version of The Kindergarten Keystone Cops! Sooo inexperienced and deceptive. I reported them to several government agencies for their shady business actions. Sales agent Cynthia was great, but “left out” important information about the homes structure elements and use of the amenities. The Construction manager Ryan was awesome. He pulled everything together for us so we went through with the purchase. I have yet to find a problem other than a few dead azaleas.

Mick was responsive to all our needs. He planned regular visits for us to see the construction. He listened and made changes we asked for. He has come by several times to help with irrigation and answer questions. Top notch person. So personable.

Home completion timelines (took 12 months from contract signing to close) can be decreased and more time/meetings/process needed for design studio options. Overall, I had good experience working with the Sales, Home Construction and design studio designer. Average experience with Pulte Mortgage team.

We have been in our home for 30 days now and love our decision. We had a wonderful and seamless experience through the building process and appreciate the level of attention we received from start to finish. I would absolutely work with Pulte again.

Sales representative Cheryl was very informative, told us of options and responded to all of our questions and concerns. Our Closing was seamless and only took 40 minutes. The project manager, did our Walkthrough and addressed 2 minor concerns we had. Overall, so happy with the Pulltie systems and processes. Js

Less than 24 hour notice closing was canceled because of sod issue Have yet to be reimbursed for costs associated with cancellation

The workmanship in some areas was not very good . I had a door that was dented at the top. In one bath there was some grout missing on the floor. Can see drywall tape Through the paint. Paint not cleaned up on the floor. Woodfloor has some chips in it and was never cleaned up thoroughly With contractors scuff marks I find very difficult still to remove. Crack in a bathroom cabinet. The kitchen sink has residue.I cannot get off. Customer service has been responsive. And will address issues hopefully. Other than That the condo is beautiful. Also I really love How they keep up clean streets due to construction debris. Shows me they really take care of stuff and take pride In the Maintenance Of the grounds. We were in love with the model and bought the floor plan. We still think the floor plan is great. The issue we experienced is that our move in was delayed because the basement flooded right before we were supposed to close. Then it was repaired and flooded again within a month of moving in. When the house flooded the first time, it appears that all Pulte did was repair the interior damage but not actually repair the issues that led to the flood. When it flooded the second time, we heard from both the customer care agent and the site manager that the flooding was an act of god and that there wasn’t anything wrong with the lot grading. Then it failed the city’s inspection three times! Repeated flooding in a short amount of time is not an act of god, it’s either poor construction or a lot that isn’t graded properly. While we are happy that Pulte finally took care of it, it was very frustrating that we had to call the customer agent daily for updates and we finally had to bring in the construction manager’s boss to get the lot issue taken care of. After talking to our neighbors who have had issues with getting repairs done, it feels like Pulte sells you on a warranty that they are then not too quick to adhere to. The other reason for our lower ratings are that some of the materials and workmanship are not the best quality. The paint they use is awful, flat, cheap paint that smudges when anything touches it. We keep seeing drywall imperfections that we didn’t notice before we moved in. And we have a ton of windows with scratches on the glass that we are still waiting to be repaired. We still love the layout and the way this home fits our family’s needs, but we would not build with Pulte again. ... More

The process was very stressful from having to deal with Pulte Mortgage to the details of construction. I feel exhausted having to explain the stress we went through. It was not a good experience until the last day when we finally closed on the house 11.5 months after going under contract. Just to give you an idea of the chaos we experienced, our house wasn't even cleaned (literally, it's still looked like a construction site with dust everywhere and plastic still on the carpets) and most things that we identified (major things like missing hardware, paint, front door getting stuck, many cabinet issues, exterior issues) were not finished 24 hours before our closing appointment. We showed up for the "celebration" to a fill-in construction manager saying our manager, Patrick, had called in for a "family emergency" and many things had not been done. There was also a crew of like 10 Mexican women that arrived soon after us that started frantically cleaning. I was so upset and deeply disappointed that things went this way until the very end. They didn't know what to do because there was no way these things were getting done before our closing at 8 am the next day. The title company already had our received wire of over $350k. I refused to push it out and they called Chris, the district construction manager to come to the house to see what had transpired. I let him know of our ongoing frustrations and poor communication and follow through by our current construction manager and the frustration of having 4 different construction managers over the build process where communications fell through and important items not getting done right or there being delays. Chris agreed to complete as much as possible that one afternoon and then roll everything else over to warranty to fix. We now have a bunch of trades coming in to fix things that were identified to be fixed on the first walkthrough. In addition, the day we closed, the office didn't have our keys to release and acted confused about us picking up the keys that day. Apparently our construction manager, Patrick, had them and they had to rekey the whole house for us at the last minute after we had already closed. This process was a pile of poor communication the whole way. I never want to go through something like this again. The house is lovely and feels like a quality build. I absolutely love the home and the functionality of the floor plan. I recognize the attention to detail and livability that Pulte keeps in mind when developing these floor plans. I truly feel like I'm in luxury all day. It's an amazing product but the process of going through getting to this point was just way too stressful. ... More
