I was continuously reassured that Pulte upholds the highest regard for quality and customer service and that was not my experience unfortunately. Many issues were left overlooked and dismissed even when brought to their attention, poor craftsmanship and skills to treat and handle higher quality materials, it felt like a wash at at point when subcontractors don’t know how to properly install, handle, or work with better materials. Disappointing customer service and evident flaws in internal communications and protocols across various Pulte departments, which intimately falls on the customer and the lack of accountability, acknowledgment, and resolution. For the premium price you’re paying for the Pulte name and product. I was sorely disappointed throughout the entire process, and after receiving my keys. My friend purchased a new Pulte build in another community (locally) during then same time and experienced similar issues, and we both had water damage and exposure to the structure and cabinetry even before moving into our brand new homes. Yet it was dismissed as “part of the process”, really upsetting. Amateur electrical work, poor (to no) attention to detail for paint lines/edges, covering nails in moldings and baseboards, uneven drywall (evident when fitting for ...

My advise is make sure the entire home is ready prior to moving in. We had multiple things which were not correct and moved on believing they would be fixed quickly, but we are still waiting for some things to be corrected on the house. We have had electrical issues HVAC issues. They have corrected what is wrong, but in my opinion don't move in until everything is complete. Also be comfortable living in a construction zone.

First time building with Pulte Homes. It was a very long process with many bumps and delays along the way. Be prepared for a long wait with limited information along the way. Make sure you ask a lot of questions from the sales team and get it in writing. We were not made aware of several options available with our model and they do not allow any changes once you sign the contract. Electrical and landscaping don’t meet standards

The use of a plastic raceway attached to the wood with only one screw does not meet the standards I was taught. Especially with an open attic above it. Outlet Abs switch locations leave much to be desired. Landscaping is the biggest fail. No planting diagram is provided, but the irrigation system is a total fail. The controller supposedly is WiFi enabled but doesn’t work. Sprinklers are buried too deep or at angles. The sprinklers themselves use a special tool that isn’t provided ($0.40 cost in bulk) and worst, no education on how to maintain the sprinklers is offered

My wife and I found Pulte homes to be very honest and forthcoming. From the start, Chris gave us all the details about the house along with all the financial figures. I was skeptical that things were going to change somewhere along the way but they never did. All the way to closing there was no surprises. Also we cannot give enough praises to our builder Kelvin- he was incredible. Literally anything we had an issue with, he fixed it and he was very responsive. The building process went smooth and everything turned out as expected. We reside in NJ and Dylan and Tiffany were amazing! Keeping us updated every step of the way with emails, calls and lots of pictures! Closing went smooth as well. Several very minor issues were quickly addressed by Tiffany. We are very happy with our new home in Verdana Village and highly recommend Plute!

Had purchased a spec house in Arbor Oaks MI. Due to change of circumstances decide to build a larger model in the same community. The sales experience was great. Initially, we enjoyed meeting with our design consultant but since we have moved in we realized she should have provided us more information. Specifically regarding our flooring options and choices since this was by far our biggest ticketed item . Overall I am happy with the home, although there have been issues. I realize post move in there are always a lot of little things that come up that you didn't find on your pre-closing walk through, and there are a few cosmetic issues I am now stuck with either living with or paying out of my pocket to resolve. But I never thought to take a hard look at the sprinkler system, and I have had the most issues there. At least those are mechanical issues and covered under the home warranty. I bought a new brand new house for $800K and in less than 2 weeks of receiving and haven't even moved there and I found a significant water leak in one of the bathroom, haven't the entire wall to be damaged and full of mold, cousin me a big disruption on my plans to move in.
