I have had an overall positive experience since moving into my home 6 weeks ago. Only one really negative issue has been the way the backsplash was installed as a piece of tile was not cut correctly and damaged an electical box when it was forced into position. That should never have happenned and it caused me grief when I attempted to install a dimmer switch but could not do so due to the damaged electrical box. I have sent in a request to have that item fixed. Most of the work to clean or repair items we have discovered have been handled with care and taken care of promptly. I was not thrilled with the fact that numerous issues we had with items were not corrected or just plain ignored before we closed on this home. I believe that can be improved for future buyers. We should not have to wait until we moved in to have noted issues fixed. If you get that in order you will recieve a 5 star rating instead of 3 stars. ... More

Pulte has a big problem in the Double Branch Community with the contractor living in unfinished homes, not to mention the using of the bathrooms in homes that are pending purchase. As, a buyer I stressed that the homes remained locked unless work was being done in them.

We've experienced numerous issues with our new home. These should have been found and fixed before we moved in if Pulte would have done quality control. Our front porch is permanently stained in multiple places by some form of an oil based liquid. Pulte refuses to replace our porch, they tried to power wash it out and that has only make it worse. It's going on two months now and they still have not resolved the problem. How would you like to spend half a million dollars on a home and the first thing everyone sees before they enter your home is your whole front porch completely stained. Now that certainly doesn't appear to be high quality or expert craftsmanship. Next we experienced our front bedroom flooding with sewage from the clean out drain. This was because first someone stuffed a 2 foot 2×4 and a wooden plug into the clean out. Unfortunately the plumber did not glue the cap screw sleeve and didn't secure the cap. Had the workmanship been even average we would still had had the backup do to the items in the clean out pipe but at least it wouldn't have flood into the room and ruin the padding and carpet. All of are windows can not be opened without extreme physical effort. We are still waiting on someone to come make the required adjustments. We have also had a significant amount of settlement under our back patio. Again we have been waiting for more than a month for someone to come and access and fix the issue. We fear there will be additional structural damage done if this doesn't get addressed soon. They have dropped a part of the roof frame from the next door house on our roof and damage our roof shingles, gutter, and tree we had just planted. ... More

Nate, my construction manager, was very professional and accommodating during the walk through and took care of all my requests promptly. The entire experience felt seamless thanks to him.

The construction manager, particularly the assistant construction manager was awesome. He updated us weekly and was very responsive to any questions we had.

I had an amazing experience from start to finish. The Pulte team created an environment where stress was never an issue. Between mortgage, construction, title and insurance the whole process was a breeze. I’m looking forward to see what the future has in store!

The materials and chosen vendors are sub standard. My inspection report came with a concrete issue which the build manager refused to fix and just got a letter from the vendor which is no good. The dry wall and sound proofing is so horrible.

Nice looking home in a good neighborhood I recommend others to buy their future home from Pulte everything look nice inside the home

We buy our home since 1st day we have issues with our drayer have fire issues and dishwasher issue and refrigerator. We r so tired to complain whirlpool and Pulti.

I had a very positive impression going with pulte homes but as it came near to the completetion of house, the type and amount of quality issues we came across is just frustrating and aggravating. I don't know where to start in terms of quality but every single inch of the house has some faults and defects which as a home owner i need to look and identify and get it fixed which was supposed to be a builders responsibility. I don't even want to talk about the workmanship since it looked very immature on very basic parts of the construction. Painting, nailing, finishing the gaps, flooring, dry wall finishing, stairs, basement.. If i have to pull each and every bit of issues found in the house then it would clearly shows how Pulte lacks quality and is something a new or year old builder would construct than someone in the industry for a long period of time. My only good experience was with the Sales manager Mrs. Samantha and Closing reporesentative Mr. Steve but anything beyond it i can't even imagine what to say. Do i recommed Pulte to someone?? - I'm totally hesistant about it and sorry to say that.. The quality shown in the model homes was not what we received in our new home . From the hvac to cabinets that we paid extra for , to the electricity . Just overall would not recommend Pulte to anyone .

very happy !! i bought with more 3 friends houses at one of the communities in las vegas we are all very happy with the product quality and have to say that PING the sales lady was amazing and gave us amazing experience, also john the construction manager was professional and help me with every detail in my new house , most to say i had a expirience with a different builder . pulte is much better then kb !!!

Everything is of a very cheap quality. Customer service is slow and non responsive.

74 years old and the first house we had built from scratch. Pulte made the process very straight forward with minimal stress.

Pulte offers some unique upgrades not available by builders like Lennar. There are some things that seem odd to not be able to upgrade. Interior doors are about as cheap as they come with no option to upgrade to a nice solid core door (we would pay). No option for interior wall insulation to dampen noise from room to room (we would pay). No option to upgrade the LVP flooring to a thicker plank (4.5mm was the only option - again, we would pay). We optioned for a ‘Media Room’ over the garage. A nice way to add space for family to come stay. There is a large walk-in closet AND a very large ‘unfinished storage’ (closet) that is not available to option as an extra bathroom. This storage room shares a common wall with the upstairs bathroom and would have been a simple upgrade (we would have paid 2x for this option). We have a quarter acre of lawn, with no option for irrigation and no shade cover to ‘maybe’ help in keeping the lawn alive. The HOA will fine us if we let the lawn die, so we have a sloppy mess of makeshift sprinklers everywhere to somewhat keep things green until we can hire a company to install irrigation. When building the house, our construction manager would tell us ‘this is how it has to be’ with a number of things we questioned with the build (sub-floor vs slab, wood deck vs concrete, mantel height, exterior shutters vs no shutters, painted interior garage vs no paint, etc.). We walk through all the new Pulte homes going in that were the complete opposite of what was shared. The lack of transparency, false statements, skipping corners, etc. we’re very frustrating and not something anyone should expect with a ‘premium’ build. ... More

The building quality is not very good. We had issues from day one.
