Pulte divided the home building process into about 3-4 phases and communicated at the beginning about these different phases and called us in at each phase to the home site or office and answered the questions that we had, also guiding as to the paperwork that is needed, sending us updates and pictures throughout the construction, it was a straightforward process!

Thank you Pulte for my beautiful home. This would have been an 5 star review. However, the quality of workmanship and materials, construction team, etc. needs improvement at this price point.

We love the Cardinal Point Community and lifestyle associated with it. Our home plan is perfect for us however the quality is not what it should be for the price paid. We have been told we can't request service unless it is something major so we are living with sticking doors, uneven paint, poor drywall finish (garage is atrocious), cracking driveway among other issues.

I really enjoyed working with Kristina and Zach. The price is a bit higher but that comes with the quality. Only real issue I had was with the lack of driveway space, even with the driveway upgrade, it is not much room due to how close the houses are built next to each other.

We are happy with our Pulte home, but there are issues, as there are with most builders. They were on schedule with all the timelines they gave us from the beginning. We liked our sales person Kristen. Ultimately the finishing touches were the only disappointment upon moving in. Floors are not all level, and the vinyl plank floors are rather squeaky because of this. Even some carpeted areas have high points for no apparent reason. Their “canned lights” look to be done in the cheapest possible way. A smaller hole in the ceiling, with a larger and less attractive light overplaying the smaller opening. Some fit and finish issues with doors and paint as well. The neighborhood and lots are great. Overall everything in the house works, and we’re happy with how things turned out. Would just be happier if those smaller fit and finish items were no there, and their warranty policy only allows them to come out one time in that first year to deal with these things, so we’ll be living with them for a while. ... We purchased the house for providing additional space for special needs kid and pulte team agreed to build the house with accessible bathroom on main floor. 1) It took 3 months for the sales person, an architect and designer to come up with plan and in the end bathroom had no overhead light. We got a very dark bathroom.for our kid who has vision problems 2,) the bathroom floor has been redone multiple times ( multiple grout colors at first) but builder has not initiated the fix until last day. The bathroom floor is redone on closing morning only to find that the water had drainage issue 3) The traders have damaged LVP floor few days before the closing and found too many scratches in multiple areas but this was not taken care before the closing and no one really cared until we inquired about it 4) the bathroom floor again redone couple of days ago but the flooring guy has idea what they are doing - this time again used different color grout and still not fixed the original issue of water not draining properly 5) the counterpart chips were broken by traders on the day of closing. Having a very tough time getting the issues fixed at the moment. You really need to chase people to get work done. We regret building our house with pulte. Please avoid pulte and build somewhere else if you want peace of mind and save your energy. Don’t waste your time. ... More

Entire home buying process went smooth. Quality of the work and materials are good.

As far as purchasing the home from Pulte. We our very disappointed with Pulte. We purchased the upgraded gourmet kitchen. We only received one the four upgrades that we were told we were purchasing. The microwave is the cheapest counter top microwave that they make and you called it a built in microwave when you cut the wall out and placed it in it. (In which they did a horrid job in doing). The only kitchen upgrade we received was the cook top the rest was all lies!!!!! We have had many requests for repairs that needed done actually before we should have ever closed, and as of now two never showed up for their appointment and we had to reschedule (two days completely wasted do to disrespect on their part) and we still have a request out that we put in over a week ago about our gutters and have not heard from anyone. We have a repair finally on the calendar for next week to fix our front door which was noted on the pre-drywall inspection and was never fixed..We also have a few more that we still need to request, just need to find the time to waist waiting and hoping that they show up. We would never recommend a house to be built by Pulte! ... More

Everything was easy and everyone from the sales consultant, construction manager to title were amazing.

From first visit to model home sales office, to design studio experience, to new house build, to closing, to move in day, our experience was great! Work was completed on time and lots of help making decisions throughout the process.

Pulte builds great quality homes for the right price.

This is our first new home purchase and we were so excited for this journey! We left our earnest deposit in December of 2022 and were told that we should be able to move in by July. We were skeptical but hopeful. We went to the showroom to pick out our carpet and kitchen etc and low and behold they wanted to charge for everything! And I mean everything, such as outlets etc. (None of the rooms come with lights & none of the homes come with a rain gutter system)We were told that we would be informed all along the way as our home was being built and have opportunities to see our home in the different phases. We were also expecting to visit our home with someone from the construction team to talk about the progress in each phase but we were never contacted. Fast forward to one year later and the home we put earnest money down on is finally ready and Pulte has the nerve to put a ridiculous amount of pressure on us to sell our home or walk away from the one we put money down on. I mean come on, I waited for you for over 1 year the least you can do is give me 90 days to sell my home. Now we are getting ready to move in and our construction walk team has told us we have only 2 walk throughs to point out all that is wrong with the home then that is it. That felt very final and conserning considering there were so many issues. The paint job was terrible, wood was unfinished on doors and in closets and I was not sure anyone actually walked the home before we did. Fast forward to move in day and we were told to go to the sales office to get our keys. When I arrived I was handed a cardboard box with about 15 keys in them and 2 garage remotes, assumed they all would work, and was told to have a nice day. Get to the door and the keys dont work. Come to realize that the keys worked on all doors except the front door and we were told that everyone was gone for the day and sorry we would have to do it ourselves. What a way to welcome someone to a new home! All this to say that we needed a single story home in this area and this was out of necessity. I would not have spent this kind of money on a home knowing what my experience was going to be like! ... More

Connie was the reason we bought this home. She was so helpful and trust worthy. She had and answer for every question Connie made buying a home easy .

This was my second time going through a complete home build purchase and process with a large home builder company. Altogether, the finished product with Pulte was better, in my opinion, than D.R. Horton, especially the insulation, sealing, and some finish work. However, we encountered many issues after closing than I expected, particularly with the quality of finish work and plumbing, much of which was not apparent just prior to closing or could only be found after living there for a while. Drippy dried paint on most doors, some walls out of plumb, damaged and leaking washer machine connections (before the water cutoff switch!), toilet plumbing problems in the wall, kitchen cabinets or drawers damaged or not installed correctly, secondary bath mirror out of plumb, rain sensor on the irrigation system having a dead screen (and not warranted by the builder), missing or mismatched paint, damaged drywall, minor damage to doors or frames, loose trim, numerous carpet tacks poking up, bad rain water drainage from the construction lot next to us into our yard, and more. Pulte's warranty process is fairly robust, and they will generally work with you to find a solution, but no one wants what seems like dozens of contractor repair visits after you've moved in. If I did it again, I would probably try to find a higher end builder with better quality checks on plumbing and finish, but to be fair, Pulte will give you a good enough product. Just keep a very close eye on finish and try to think ahead about problems you may not otherwise see until you've moved in. The best fix would be for Pulte to keep a closer eye on the work of their subcontractors. ... More

We had blinds installed yesterday and discovered that the craftsmanship of the windows/framing is sub par. The window/framing is uneven. We have a sizable crack in the structure above the garage. Range/stove is not working. Baseboards not painted in some areas. Painting around outlets is not clean. Discoloration on driveway concrete. We've only been in the house for one week, so hopefully we won't find any more items. Pulte Mortgage made some material misrepresentations. We decided to go with B of A - better terms.

Excellent service and Quality work

The response to issues with the building is in question. I have submitted three requests about two issues and no one has responded.

I had an excellent experience overall with Sales team. While the project started later than we wanted the construction process picked up schedule quickly. The site was always clean and subcontractors looked professional and organized which is a good sign. Pulte is highly efficient..keeping their costs our costs as buyers down. Entire experience very process driven, buyer centric in my opinion.

So far everything goes smoothly and the Pulte team is professional and responsible.

Very pleased with our Ashby model. All went well as presented. Can’t thank our Pulte representative Fabio enough for a perfect translation into our new home and Dan’s follow up topped it all off!

We were extremely pleased with the quality of construction and finishing. Regarding the documentary part, everything happened according to our expectations. The engineer responsible for the work (Mr. Omar) was extremely attentive and kind, assisting us with all our demands.

The buying experience was good, some of the building issues could have been resolved before we moved in or purchased the house!
