Extremely Poor craftsmanship, noticeable imperfections. Very disappointed and dissatisfied

One coat of paint on all of the walls is hardly even the minimum and several spots were completely missed, leaving bare drywall. One supply duct per room and the zoned system not being fully realized is unfortunate to see as I am a DDC specialist. There was no pull string for the ISP to pull their wire to the Low Voltage panel in the basement through the chase pipe even though the plan states that there would be. The speaker wires were done incorrectly along with other cost cutting measures by Procom. Rushing to close even though the outdoor work wasn't done yet was a red flag indicating that Pulte cared more about finances than the homeowner's ease of moving in (the FAQ provided stated that in most cases the driveway should be done upon closing). The gas and 120V outlet in the garage were installed IN THE CEILING 10 feet away from where we discussed installing them IN THE WALL with Anthony, the original construction manager. Paperwork was smooth. Need more precise move in times and more work needed on finishes it seemed rushed

Over all a poor experience. It started with the sales consultant who is less than forthcoming in regards to the contract we got to point where we were going over everything and she said I’ll just email the rest. It’s a standard contract included in the contract without any discussion appliances and window coverings what we should’ve done, sat there until it was done, and everything was clear. Construction manager was very attentive and helpful. However, the final product had that fell off within a week and was missing a plug in the kitchen required carrying out the brand new tile which is still not replaced and we closed on 3/1 The closing people wanted to rush the closing and my wife had medical issue that we had to postpone it for week and it was like the end of the walk we’re not showing up for walk-through. Did they bend over and change it to customer service for me I would not recommend or buy another Pulte home. ... More

Do not think that they care about you, because they don’t. From the beginning rude salesmen, craftsmen ship is shoddy. The only person that did a good job was a guy name Wes and his Boss. Buying a Pulte home wasn’t fun, and I already have my home up for sale.

We first purchased a new Pulte home in the year 2000 in the Charlotte NC area. We loved our Pulte home, but then eventually moved out of the area. 24 years later and we purchased a new Pulte home in Fort Myers! Again, it was a great experience working with Pulte. We love their quality and workmanship.

Thank you for explaining the house in how it was build and walking me through the final inspections. Thank you for answering all my questions and for correcting the things I wanted around my house before I bought the house to make me feel more at home. Thank you again

Great experience with the entire team on both sides of the transaction. Builder rep, law firm, title co, realtors, property managers, interior designers.

The quality of materials , including the flooring and tiles are not great quality. Had a great experience with the sales rep and the customer service manager.

Overall it was a solid experience. Even though their communication is horrible! I had to constantly chase my project manager for information. I also missed my pre-drywall inspection, which is unacceptable! However, the home so far, has been good and it appears to be holding well and looks great!

There are too many separate points of contact in the process between Pulte sales and Pulte lending. Those two offices do not share communication well. Sales could have explained things much better along the way. Lending will not give you the best rate, they will give you a “competitive rate”. There is no supervisory oversight that the buyer can see or access. Jason the project manager was the shining star for the company. Great communication, explained things well, and responsive. Unfortunately, after 1 month in the home, we have had to open 4 work tickets for incomplete items or other issues after we moved in. Closing Day on a Friday is remote training day for construction Mgr. Felt abandoned on closing day. Construction Mgr met the day before and promised house would be cleaned and landscape would be finished. Next day after close I had to drive another 30 mins to a different community sales office to pickup keys. When I got to the new home the outside had not been touched, construction trash & no mulch. Inside was not cleaned as promised. Called construction mgr and he starting calling but it was too late.

Very friendly and helpful through out the process.

Overall it was a great home. We really enjoy living there. Other than one closet in one of the bedrooms where the door is designed wrong and when you put your clothes in the closet you can’t open the door to get into the closet. Everything else has been great.

Great experience overall! I would definitely recommend pulte homes in Avon.

Communcation throughout the process poor. Issues with workmanship quality. HOA poorly run and slow.

The process was easy and quick, Diana was the best helping with all the details.

Awesome experience! They did a great job.

Sales agent was great and helpful but after moving in there were many quality issues to the home. Ceiling seam was wrong so my ceiling bubbled up and when they came to fix it they left a dent/hole on the wood floor. Our wifi upgrade took forever to get done. vintage took over a month to get someone out to install WAPs and when they came out the installer did not even know why he was there and did not have the right things. sometimes the lights take awhile to turn on after the switch has been flipped and our shower rods have randomly fallen off in two bathrooms when nothing is even being hanged on them. the pavement on the driveway and road turning in is super uneven and has pot holes. the loft door is not sealed properly and when it’s windy the wind can be felt and heard whistling in. ... We love our FLOORPLAN. The process caused so much unnecessary stress and frustration though. Our sales rep would tell us one thing, then lie and say she never said it ( though i had all the proof ) miscommunication was a constant issue. It wasn’t until after we closed we found out we lived in an area where you hear gunshots, ringing almost every day. As if they purposely scheduled us on days and times that the gun range was closed. The design center team told me at my first visit that I could not get something in my floor plan later found out that I could have gotten the specific upgrade. We had to go months without any updates because our initial construction manager was incompetent and decided to leave the company. In that time of having no construction manager and no updates, the contractors were building us the wrong floorplan layout, and it wasn’t until we decided to stop by, we made them stop what they were doing. Our new construction manager, Chris tried his very best to make The rest of the process smoother for us but I had to get with him also for wanting us to close with a known hole in our drywall behind our kitchen oven range and the backsplash. The one good thing I can’t say is one of the upper management personnels did ask us how they could rectify all of our issues that we experience but before we could answered, Pulte legal team, decided to hit my realtor with a cease and desist Because my realtor called them out on everything shady they were doing and held them accountable. Even after that, the issues still continued. The final straw that made me completely over Pulte is the fact that our closing was pushed out one week due to Pulte, not completing the requirements from the appraiser report. And each time the appraiser came out to our home, with the OK from Pulte, and being advised that all items have been fixed, all items were in fact NOT fixed, causing us as the buyers to pay THREE!! additional appraiser fees of $785 EACH. Pulte should have fixed the issues the first time and they didn’t care how it affected us as the buyers. Pushing our closing out because the home was not ready also made us accrue additional closing fees because we closed in the beginning of a new month. Thousands of dollars we lost out on because of that. And lastly, Pulte promised to give us about $45,000 worth of incentives regardless of the lender we chose.(In house or outside) . This was listed in our contract and verified multiple times. The moment Pulte got notice that we were going to stick with our outside Lender, Pulte decided to be really nasty and push our closing up 3 weeks , Thinking we would not be ready as the buyers when again, they were the ones who did not have the home appraisal inspection ready) and all of the incentives they were going to give us they decided to put on the buyer side of the CD documents after they realized we were scheduled to receive money back at closing On top of the adjustments we received for all of the inconvenience during our process. Real nasty work I tell ya! When we finally made it to our closing day, pulte gave the other five buyers a closing gift, i know because they made us wait 3 hours for our keys and we saw all of the bother buyers being handed a gift, but they did not give us one at all. Now that we have been in our home for two months, we experienced a leak in our secondary bathroom. Because the shower head was switched out, Warranty tried to blame the leak on that and did not want to fix it. The plumbing contractors they use actually sent out an apprentice worker to our home to rectify the leak issue and this apprentice specifically stated that he apologize, he only been on the job for five weeks and he had no idea what he was doing or where the leak was coming from. Pulte cut a square in our drywall To try to see where the leak was coming from and have yet to come back out and fix it . we hired our own professional plumbers to come out and rectify the issue and they were able to confirm within minutes the leak had nothing to do with us having the showerhead switched out, but it came from the piping behind the wall that was not screwed on tightly. This would have only been found by cutting a hole in the wall. It’s mind blowing that their contractors could not find the issue though. Pulte has yet to come out And repair the drywall. And they also do not want to fix the issue in my owners bathroom because my shower It has been spray-painted, but the issue is also too. The owners bathtub as well, and those fixtures have not been switched at all. The issue is behind the walls though.. so far, those are the major issues that we are experiencing after closing everything else seems to be fine. We paid for the tv mount upgrade in every room, so that The cords Would be behind the wall, but we cannot use that feature because whoever installed it install the piping for the cord and the electrical socket too far apart . but I’m more than sure that is because I stayed on top of there every morning throughout the process to make sure nothing else would Causes any major issues. ... I was very confident with Pulte making me a good home even though I couldn’t be there to review the process!

As a first time home buyer Pulte made the experience top tier. The multiple walkthroughs with the builder allowed for a deep understanding of the build and the choices that went into the construction. Everything is high quality. They were also extremely responsive and genuine during the final walk through to touch up all small issues to make sure the home was move in ready.
