Pulte builds great quality homes for the right price.

This is our first new home purchase and we were so excited for this journey! We left our earnest deposit in December of 2022 and were told that we should be able to move in by July. We were skeptical but hopeful. We went to the showroom to pick out our carpet and kitchen etc and low and behold they wanted to charge for everything! And I mean everything, such as outlets etc. (None of the rooms come with lights & none of the homes come with a rain gutter system)We were told that we would be informed all along the way as our home was being built and have opportunities to see our home in the different phases. We were also expecting to visit our home with someone from the construction team to talk about the progress in each phase but we were never contacted. Fast forward to one year later and the home we put earnest money down on is finally ready and Pulte has the nerve to put a ridiculous amount of pressure on us to sell our home or walk away from the one we put money down on. I mean come on, I waited for you for over 1 year the least you can do is give me 90 days to sell my home. Now we are getting ready to move in and our construction walk team has told us we have only 2 walk throughs to point out all that is wrong with the home then that is it. That felt very final and conserning considering there were so many issues. The paint job was terrible, wood was unfinished on doors and in closets and I was not sure anyone actually walked the home before we did. Fast forward to move in day and we were told to go to the sales office to get our keys. When I arrived I was handed a cardboard box with about 15 keys in them and 2 garage remotes, assumed they all would work, and was told to have a nice day. Get to the door and the keys dont work. Come to realize that the keys worked on all doors except the front door and we were told that everyone was gone for the day and sorry we would have to do it ourselves. What a way to welcome someone to a new home! All this to say that we needed a single story home in this area and this was out of necessity. I would not have spent this kind of money on a home knowing what my experience was going to be like! ... More

Connie was the reason we bought this home. She was so helpful and trust worthy. She had and answer for every question Connie made buying a home easy .

This was my second time going through a complete home build purchase and process with a large home builder company. Altogether, the finished product with Pulte was better, in my opinion, than D.R. Horton, especially the insulation, sealing, and some finish work. However, we encountered many issues after closing than I expected, particularly with the quality of finish work and plumbing, much of which was not apparent just prior to closing or could only be found after living there for a while. Drippy dried paint on most doors, some walls out of plumb, damaged and leaking washer machine connections (before the water cutoff switch!), toilet plumbing problems in the wall, kitchen cabinets or drawers damaged or not installed correctly, secondary bath mirror out of plumb, rain sensor on the irrigation system having a dead screen (and not warranted by the builder), missing or mismatched paint, damaged drywall, minor damage to doors or frames, loose trim, numerous carpet tacks poking up, bad rain water drainage from the construction lot next to us into our yard, and more. Pulte's warranty process is fairly robust, and they will generally work with you to find a solution, but no one wants what seems like dozens of contractor repair visits after you've moved in. If I did it again, I would probably try to find a higher end builder with better quality checks on plumbing and finish, but to be fair, Pulte will give you a good enough product. Just keep a very close eye on finish and try to think ahead about problems you may not otherwise see until you've moved in. The best fix would be for Pulte to keep a closer eye on the work of their subcontractors. ... More

We had blinds installed yesterday and discovered that the craftsmanship of the windows/framing is sub par. The window/framing is uneven. We have a sizable crack in the structure above the garage. Range/stove is not working. Baseboards not painted in some areas. Painting around outlets is not clean. Discoloration on driveway concrete. We've only been in the house for one week, so hopefully we won't find any more items. Pulte Mortgage made some material misrepresentations. We decided to go with B of A - better terms.

Excellent service and Quality work

The response to issues with the building is in question. I have submitted three requests about two issues and no one has responded.

I had an excellent experience overall with Sales team. While the project started later than we wanted the construction process picked up schedule quickly. The site was always clean and subcontractors looked professional and organized which is a good sign. Pulte is highly efficient..keeping their costs our costs as buyers down. Entire experience very process driven, buyer centric in my opinion.

So far everything goes smoothly and the Pulte team is professional and responsible.

Very pleased with our Ashby model. All went well as presented. Can’t thank our Pulte representative Fabio enough for a perfect translation into our new home and Dan’s follow up topped it all off!

We were extremely pleased with the quality of construction and finishing. Regarding the documentary part, everything happened according to our expectations. The engineer responsible for the work (Mr. Omar) was extremely attentive and kind, assisting us with all our demands.

The buying experience was good, some of the building issues could have been resolved before we moved in or purchased the house!

The type of the house is very good,and there are many choices

seles rep was GREAT, the tour of the neighbohood really nice too, the visit to the desing center was very nice and easy however once they started actually building it all went to crap project manger was terrible, his ownership of mistakes and poor workmanship was close to not existent! zero attention to detail - multiple closing reschedules, poor attitude and responsivenes to issues, aweful expreince it seemed like he was working for the tradesmen as if they were paying him and i wasnt the customer whose oppinion and work he should be taking into consoderation....

House is very modern and built well. Beautiful kitchen and love the balconies. Excited for this house!

Good experience! Professional support and people!

The staff that worked with during the process were helpful and very professional. We did experience delays in actually getting to move in. It was a long wait but in the end well worth it. Happy to be getting settled in a beautiful new home and community.

Gabriel was wonderful. He helped find the house and walked us through thr process. Then only bad thing was at closing, even though we could sign, we couldn't get the keys. This was because of an error that was made. The certificate of occupancy that was in the folder for our house was actually for another house. Everyone scrambled to get it done that day. We had to cancel our furniture from being delivered. We got the keys later that day but never got a call from upper management to check on us or apologize for the error.

Horrible buying experience in general. From the sales, mortgage, and the title company everyone was pretty bad and unprofessional. They will treat you very good and give you false promises just to sell the house to you. They will for sure disappear and ignore you multiple times after the house is sold. You have to make sure you’re free at all times for the mortgagee underwriting process because they will tell you last minute and if you don’t make it you won’t get your loan. Only one that really helped us is our project manager Jose. It’s crazy that he tried to contact someone in the mortgage department for us multiple times because we can’t get a hold of them. Alex from the finance or mortgage side has probably the worst customer service I’ve ever seen not just in Pulte but everywhere else. It’s to the point that he not only ignores us, the sales team and Jose can’t reach him either. Oh there sales manager Ian is probably just as bad too. Just a greedy person who only cares about profit than customer satisfaction. Pulte homes take pride on perfection and customer satisfaction is completely false at least with the team that Ian leads. Made clear about the imperfections in the home and he basically said suck it up or don’t buy it, didn’t provide for any resolution or compensation. After the horrendous loan process and going through it with their sales team. Guess what? Prior to closing we mentioned several times one of the individuals is just a co signer and he will not be on the title. This is shown with multiple email chains and text messages. We even repeated this multiple times at the closing table to make sure since we know Pulte loves to mess things up and have no professionalism. Again, they added him to the title and we were the ones to find out. They’re now pointing fingers at each other. Title team blames sales team and sales team blames loan team. Tried to contact them no answers unless you keep spamming them. Last icing on the cake is when we went to open our home for the first time, the keys didn’t work. They gave us the wrong keys for the home or it just didn’t work at all. We had to call a locksmith to unlock it and change the lock for us. All in all please do yourself a favor and buy from another builder. I regret buying with Pulte and I will deter everyone away from Ian and his team. ... More

From meeting with Reuben(sales rep) Jessica(design rep), Travis & Glen(construction managers) it’s been totally positive experience for me. Nice that I had the opportunity to upgrade appliance pkg,countertops,add cabinets to laundry room,pick out tile & flooring. Construction managers gave me updates on schedule during building process.

I have been in my home for a little over a month. Obviously I am going to find imperfections, but there are far too many things that pop up that just show laziness. Holes in drywall, nicks and dents in drywall, grout splattered and stuck to tiles/walls, chipped grout, cracked paint in almost every ceiling corner. I've had the project manager/customer service come out to inspect some of the issues, said they would have it taken care of in a couple weeks. it's been over 3 weeks and there is still no update.

My experience was smooth throughout. The builders were in communication and kept us in the loop every step of the way. They ensured everything was done on time and they stuck to their timeline. Greg Dutchovet went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and understood everything that was happening around us. Thank you!!

The building time on my house was great!
