Overall home quality is ok

From beginning to end, CJ, Luke and Adam made our new home purchasing experience outstanding. We felt fully informed throughout, and when we had questions everyone was very quick to respond. The follow-up was always timely, and professional.

From the start to finish the people from Pulte worked with us, kept us informed of the progress and were very responsive to all our questions.

We signed to buy a quick move in home which was completed up to structure. Nobody mentioned before contract that garage will be incomplete, incomplete drywall and with no paint. After just move in they increased the HOA without any prior notice. The exterior works finishing is not good. Its differs from what we saw in model home. The floor, stairs make cracking noise when we walk, the carpet joining is visible.

Overall experience was quite good - really appreciated and trusted our project manager through the process. Pulte had a big push to close homes before the end of December resulting in a rush by a number of contractors, not having sufficient time for appliances and only one day between walk through and closing so some paint touch ups were missed and the tape is still on the wall. On site Team has been wonderful and very responsive, contacting Pulte for follow up on an electrical issue required multiple follow ups from our end to get the issue resolved, but again, on-site Team was terrific.

Bad quality, things break down in the first month

Susan was great in showing us all the community has to offer and would highly recommend her to anyone. We have always been a fan of Pulte and have been following their progression in the area for the last 10 years, so I am a bit disappointed to finally have a Pulte home and immediately have to address many albeit minor but many issues through the warranty process despite having the builder promise to address most of the issues prior to closing. The warranty process can be great if you can get someone to message or call you back. It takes longer for customer service to acknowledge your issue directly than it did to close. However when you do get ahold of customer service they have been responsive. There are no regrets with buying a Pulte home but wish the quality inspection they claim to do when the home is ready was actually a quality inspection as opposed to a check the box and sign. This inspection is done by the subcontractor that takes no pride or ownership in their work and signs off to get paid which is unfortunate. ... More

In our experience, we bought our new home that was a spec home. When we did our first walk through of the home, Anthony showed us every inch of the home and had so much knowledge and answered our questions and concerns. Once we had our Congratulations walk through everything was fixed that we had concerns about and if we had any other questions, he had the answers. He was very approachable and caring. We had complete confidence in him and Pulte. We will certainly purchase another Pulte home. We are looking forward with raising our son in this beautiful place called home. I trust the pulte name. the homes I watched them built from the ground up and I was satisfied with their ability to stay on track with their projected timeline for completion.

From the sales teams, to the construction and the mortgage we are extremely satisfied! The house feels super solid and for any minor issue we had (ex. A light socket not working) they were super responsive and fix it the next day. I’m would 100% recommend Pulte!

what is different from other builders: Pulte welcomes you in the construction site and they will respond to your notes and concerns and address them (if they make sense for sure). knowledgeable construction managers (at lease the one i worked with) and very responsive, they even helped me after the closing. Pulte periodic inspections: this process is very helpful and will point out any thing missed or not perfected by construction team and address all the issues, i have visited the site every single day and witnessed how thorough their inspections are. Construction manager and warranty manager are awesome!!!

The process was very smooth and everyone was very supportive and cooperative. They use to give update at every stage of construction and keep me posted with all update.

I choose HG due to the lovely unforgettable mountain and lake views, area, private gated community. I initially thought the home was too small but that’s me coming from a 3757sq 5 bedroom 2 story. Now living happy in 3 bedroom 3 bath empty nester. So getting and choosing your home and giving the earnest money was easy and flawless. Being able to pick options and going to the design studio was the best. But of course we chose an area that had never been lived on so we digging from scratch. The long long delays of completing the home was the horrible part for me. I lost a lot of money living in temporary living waiting months past the initial estimated move in. Then waiting more months after the second estimated date then not receiving an estimate date to delays with utilities coming to install meters my goodness it became very stressful. But then…sun broke through the dark clouds and we signed papers and was hopeful for ours keys. Well there was one more delay and keys were not given for almost 3 weeks. We had to resign our closing documents one more time and 6 days later the VICTORY CALL came. They said GO GET YOUR KEYS CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW HOME! When I say those were the best words to my ear ever. I almost ran there to get my key that’s how much energy I was suddenly filled with. All the hell was over and I was thankful. I thanked and blessed them all for building my home with great quality and perfection. Some things could have been upgraded but the quality of the build is everything. I would after everything go back to Pulte because I’m happy and highly satisfied with the quality and how they toured me through my home to show me how everything works and the aftercare is beautiful. They have come when I called and they followed up to ensure things were still working to my satisfaction. They even paid my rent and storage due to that last month delays. It was a long road but if I knew I would be this happy at the finish I truly would do it again. Thank you Pulte. Thank you Eric . The man that took all the crap from us all and remained calm. Pulte Mortgage process itself needs work. Their documents request was extra. Resending documents as well. Unacceptable. I needed to bring in their Supervisor in twice to take care of concerns. My sales person, Builder and our contractor did a fabulous job walking us thru the process and answering all our questions. Thank you!

Builder, sales and closing team are great. Home quality is good. Pulte home pricing is on high end when compared to other builders.

This is my second Pulte home, unfortunately the quality has significantly decrease. I would be happy to show my home to any potential buys so they know in advance what they are getting.

I originally thought I wanted a single family home until I walked in the Abbyville model at Hillcrest. The salesperson (Kay) provided the right amount of information and was always available for follow-up questions with a down to earth comfortable approach. The construction team (Chad and Ben) took the time to walk me through the features of my home and were willing to respond to issues found in my new home orientation and inspection. Kay, Chad and Ben were great to work with and represent Pulte very well! The only reason I gave a neutral rating for workmanship and materials is that I have only been living in the home for 4 days (moved in on 1/22)and have not had enough time to assess and/or work with Pulte Customer Service. ... I submitted my list of repairs several days ago, but have not received a response. I reported people changing their oil in the mail box parking lot. The sales person at the model said to me “sounds like a management problem.” Management was already gone home and I was disappointed with his lack of care about responding to my complaint. I reminded him the development is under builder control and this is against the community rules. He straight could give a crap. Disappointed on 1/23/24 at 5:30 pm.

it was so easy working with the salespeople.

I had initially worked with a hardworking Pulte team from the start to closing. They were very attentive and did what they could to get me to through my closing. Then closing happened and the quality of service began to taper off. The warranty team and the lack of customer attentiveness and professionalism specifically from my customer care manager has completely tainted my experience from great to terrible. I closed on Dec 1, 2023. It is January 25th and I have not been able to unpack my dishes, some major household furnitures, and quite frankly I have not enjoyed my new home because of the items open. Who would if the place still have blue tape everywhere! My experience with my Customer Care Manager has been a terrible one. I have asked to have someone else work on my warranty requests. I had put this requests on an email that included his manager. I have not received a response from the manager since. I do not want to deal with a Pulte employee that does not want to help with my home issues. I do not want a Customer Care Manager to come into my home ever again and be met with hostility! I have escalated and have asked who I can escalate to but no one from Pulte has responded. I, as a new Pulte homeowner, am very dissatisfied and felt deceived. My voice has not been heard and I truly feel like the Warranty team is now sitting on my issues on purpose because I have been very vocal about my requests for the reasons I noted above, I will think twice before recommending Pulte to my friends and family! ...
