I purchased Home recently with Pulte, After Closing I noticed few issues which needs to be fixed for my appliances to work. Like Gas line was missing for my Kitchen & Cabinet cut for Wall oven was proper. I made Pulte aware of this issues & requested them to fix ASAP. Tim from Pulte helped me fixing this issues in record time of 2 days . I appreciate their time & efforts looking into my problems & resolving them on priority. My overall Home buying experience was great.

From sales to closing it was a very good experience. Communication system works well as does direct personal weekly check ins with Team Pulte at Highpointe. Daniela and Ryan did a superb job.

Had built a new home many years ago with another builder, so this was a second-time-around experience for us. The process can be an emotional roller coaster, especially depending on the builder’s response to any questions or concerns. But working with Diane (Sales Agent) and Dustin (Construction Manager) was easy and enjoyable. All questions were taken seriously, responded to quickly, and resolved ASAP. We are especially appreciative of Dustin in managing our build and his oversight of the quality of construction. He truly was a joy to work with. The mortgage that we have to use in order to receive the incentives, is terrible at best. These house get built so fast they lack details, all the house are the same, the walls are not sanded well, and paints is patchy. Adding things like a dish-wash dispenser next to The sink faucet or soft closing option doesnt cost alot but these touches would make the home buyer feel like it wasnt just a wood box and pulte put it together. I bought an NV home before and I will always go with NV from Now on. By the time the home buyer pays off the house, it would cost million or $1.5 mil, put a little effort. ... More

Pre-sales and sales experience was good – responsive, knowledgeable staff Design choices were pretty clear and the team was quite helpful After that, things went down-hill quickly Communication during the build process is pretty non-existent. At points we were just told blatant lies. Expect the refrain “we’re better than the other construction companies”… doesn’t mean “good” – just less bad? No meaningful response or answer to concerns raised during build process. NO-ONE at Pulte watches quality issues on the build. BUYER has to be looking at all aspects of build quality. Expect arguments and excuses for any issues raised during the build process. Expect schedule is just a work of fiction. It will change with zero notice or reasons offered for the changes Be careful of materials quality issues – big example is windows & screens – rattles, poor fit, excuses for both, not fixes. Be careful of damage during construction – e.g. bathtubs go in very early – and finish gets badly damaged during rest of the process. Watch for level & plumb…. Door handles on cabinets installed crooked – then just re-drilled instead of proper fixes Get your own independent home inspection prior to final walk-through – it will help in addressing defects! Oh – best part – if you don’t sign off that you’re satisfied we were told “they won’t let you close”. Warranty team seems very responsive and is trying to address issues from construction If you are prepared for the drama you will have a better experience. Pulte is a quality builder but he’s only as good as the Sub Contractors he hires. Workmanship could have been better but overall I’m satisfied with my purchase.

Easy to talk to their sale person or the office manager they are very much help full all the way This is my second home we bought from Pulte their staff is great

Patrick was a superb salesman answered all questions. Joe was excellent construction manager who explained and showed the details of the mechanical parts of the house.

We found a house in the early stages of construction and felt it would meet our needs. From that point on we dealt with the various members of the Pulte team, including the mortgage financing, insurance and closing agent to get a great house. Sales rep and construction manager worked with us and answered all our questions and made the deal happen. We are very pleased.

Pulte touts their quality control, pride in the care of their new construction and communication. Quality control was missing and communication was one way - from Pulte to resident. The video describing a “celebration walk thru” is not what we experienced. Our celebration walk was nothing close to a celebration. Our home was not complete or clean. Broken window, missing items that should have been in the home, all finishes both inside and outside the home were sloppy and unprofessional. Communication was poor. From the initial stages to the completion of the process, Josh has been exceptionally informative about the intricacies of the construction, instilling in me a great deal of confidence in my decision to purchase the home. I couldn't have asked for a better partner to guide me through every step of the way.

The sales experience was amazing, all of our questions were answered promptly and confidently. The build process should and close should pay more attention to details. Some of the contractors appeared to just want to get the job done and move on. Paint and drywall could have been better. Overall we are happy with our home

The finish work is pretty horrendous, even after the last two walk arounds. Dents, scratches, holes, cracks, paint drippings, mud drippings (not sanded yet painted over) in all the walls throughout the home, trim pieces damaged, sprinkler system damage, entry doors paint chipped, nails and debris left on roof, caulk grout cracking in bathrooms and window edges and kitchen, and more. Basically zero attention to detail. One can only hope that the rest of the work inside the walls during rough/plumbing/electrical was done by workers which take a lot more pride in the work they do.

Had a great experience throughout the build process. Our sales agent, construction manager and warranty manager were great. We love our new home.

We had a horrible experience with Pulte. They tried to make us close when the house was nowhere near being complete. Their quality of workmanship is horrible and subpar. We’ve had so many issues in the house. We honestly would probably never build with Pulte again and this is $1 million house. I can imagine what they do for less expensive homes.

Troy took the time to get to know us and our needs for a home. He spent a lot of time during our multiple visits in guiding us through the process of selecting the right set of options for the build. JC our construction manager took it from there and worked to ensure the house was a quality build. He worked diligently to address the few issues found during home inspection. For the few issues (minor roof leak, paint work, caulking, etc.) found since our move-in, Pulte Warranty has been very responsive in getting them addressed.

Donot close your home with any issues pending. Construction Managers are so irresponsible and donot address minor issues despite of 10+ reminders. Lennar has a better quality homes compared to Pulte Homes. With the money they took and quality they delivered is poor. They pretend to be acting on issues but they never.

The upgrading process is absurd. I understand upgrading is expected if you want nice things, but the level to which they nickel and dime you on upgrades is egregious. Like who doesn’t want lighting in their bedrooms? How on earth is that upgrade? Selling a stove and microwave but not a fridge makes no sense. The cheap wire shelving that comes in every closet is an embarrassment. Even on the building itself they cut corners. Studs are supposed to be 16 inches apart by standard. They did 22 inches apart to save on lumber. They only use flat paint because semi-gloss or better requires better plastering skill. Had I had a clearer vision of the final cost of everything, I would’ve bought a house and dumped $100k into renovating it instead. But this community is nice and very close to the train.
