The house closing was scheduled even though I was out of the country and unable to do a walk-through with the builders. Pulte was not flexible on the closing schedule. Once I returned and had the walk-through, closing, financial portion had already been completed and now finishing the punchlist on problems With the home remain on resolved after several weeks. Unable to have the Furnace people address issues that should’ve been addressed before closing. Difficulty just having a lightbulb put in the garage door opener, it is unfortunate at these smaller items remain unresolved. I’m hoping that we can resolve these issues to a mutual satisfaction ... We loved our sales person and our contractor before we bought was awesome. After we bought, it has been so hard to get anyone to respond: we had issues with broken glass doors, cabinets not installed well. Two months in no one has showed up to fix them. Multiple shelves with damage in the kitchen (the guy who installed them should be fired). Now we have backup of sewage and after frantically calling, very rude plumbing contractor (pulte’s) came. We can’t use our toilets or take showers much less wash clothes or dishes. We spent a fortune for this house and I can tell you builders with half this price have way better quality, workmanship and follow up. ... More

The home we moved into has a lot of issues that could be avoided with some extra care during construction of the home. We found several floor tiles cracked or chipped. We also found, after being in the house for a month, that good workmanship was lacking in many cases: painting spills and misses, door weathstripping ripped, cracked pavers with a lack of paver sand and lanaii that should have been cleaned. There was also a cracked window glass and a shingle has already blown off with only wind below 50 mph. What would happen in a hurricane is a question mark. We have contacted Pulte warranty to address these issues and have waited a week without even acknowledgement of our call. This is clearly not acceptable. We feel taken advantage of at this point. ... We have purchased four tract homes in the past 25 years. This purchase and closing process went well but the finished product is not what we expected or were assured We were unable to have the house inspected by an independent inspector prior to closing for several reasons. In any event, our post-closing inspection revealed issues of sloppy quality control. We have an extensive punch list. We are disappointed and would not buy a Pulte home again (this is our second). We will not recommend Pulte to others.

Positive home buying experience

I would not recommend buying a house from Pulte. I had a horrible experience with Pulte. The field manager is not focusing on the build. I had many issues after closing my house. They are not fixing the problem yet. My field manager is lying a lot. They messed up the staircase, interior doors, curtains, rods, etc.; I will move to a higher level to fix all my issues.

There was a delay in closing but it was worth the wait

We had a good experience with Pulte. We were told by locals that they had a good reputation in the area, (despite seeing negative comments online) and felt confident to make an offer on a quick move in property. The sales team was thorough, the designers authoritative and attentive and the site manager exceptional. House was completed on time and in good order. Most importantly the process was well organized and easy to understand. Thanks Pulte!

During the the entire process, my builder was always transparent, open, and communicative to understand my unusual status. It can contribute to a smoother experience and finally I appreciate it all.

Easy home buying experience with Pulte. House was great, customer service was responsive.

Build quality is poor. Team just looks to deliver the house as per the schedule and were not concentrating on the quality at all. Very poor in reviewing the work done and correcting the issues intime.

Positive experience with pulte home, I will recommend

Took longer than expected, largely due to limitations beyond builders control. Mortgage process can use fine tuning to make more seamless for the buyer. The finished product is great and the building staff was our best comparing to prior builds.

The “supposed” to be a brand new home by Pulte home has a faulty HVAC equipment which took over a month for some one come and take a look and after 2 attempts still not fixed , why would a brand new home that priced at 1.25 million have a broken HVAC which is not even a month old ? Where is the quality here pulte homes? shame ! My family spent thanksgiving in a cold home , thank you for nothing Pulte homes !

The microwave had stopped working 2 days after closing. I waited 4 weeks for it to be repaired. That's poor customer service.

Still awaiting an answer related to a structural issue.

We have had nothing but issues since the initial walk through of our home before the actual closing. We still ave items on our punch list still not completed after a month from the closing date. We have had dates for repairs which were cancelled. our oven did not work. The electrician came and discovered it was never hooked up to the electric pane box behind the microwave. The microwave was damaged. It was replaced with a different cheaper model than the original. t The first time we went to use the oven we noticed a chip on the inside door. We have now requested a new oven. Still have not heard when the replacement will come. We ordered flood lights be put at the rear of the house at the time of purchase. These not installed and were on the punch list. After one month they were finally installed but not with the flood light bulbs. I was told the bulbs would be installed - Still waiting. We had an upgraded kitchen put in. A couple of the cabinets are not installed properly and is missing screws in the hinges. The lazy susan in the corner cabinet does not turn properly. A date to repair these problems was scheduled and than cancelled. We are now scheduled for Dec.5th. We have damage to the wall in our kitchen. the repairs were scheduled and then cancelled. We now have been rescheduled for Nov. 30 for the repairs. We are very unhappy with the way all warranty items and additional prepare requests have been handled. ... More

My wife and I loved our experience working with Pulte. Kal and Justin were outstanding in their communication and reliability through the entire process. We always felt confident in the job being done and our ability to get an answer promptly when needed. Would highly recommend working with them if you want an amazing home!

Our entire Pulte was very good in handling any issues we had from the purchase to closing.

Experiences already sent into Pulte survey. No response from Pulte. The warranty manager is working on getting things done. We will see how this works. The house was not done "before" we moved in. It should not have closed. There were about 50 to 60 items either put in wrong, done, poorly or not done at all. Quality is not a word we would use for Pulte.

Great communication with all persons involved in the buying, financing, construction, and closing of our new home.

Everything from the no-pressure sales office to the amazing design center to the builder supervisor has been nothing short of amazing. This is the first time we ever bought a new build home and we are so excited to move in and make it our own. This has been a great experience.
