Josh, our construction manager, helped to make this experience great- he kept us updated, was honest, cared about delivering a solid product and worked through any problems with us.

This was our first new build and the process, though long, was very enjoyable. Justin and Shawn were great and would recommend both to any new home buyer.

Pulte Sales persons won’t allow any customization like adding window or removing unwanted features. Frankly I had a very high expectation from pulte in quality and craftsmanship. But I am disappointed with craftsmanship as I saw various abnormalities in finishing process. Literally u need to check everything for your house. I don’t know if pulte has a quality team to verify after finishing. Why a customer need to go wall by wall, room by room to check abnormality. We are paying premium price. They don’t even cleaned the heating vents and not pressure washed my house after construction and doors has uneven gaps at the bottom. need to ask everything for them to do their job. ... More

After hearing worrisome stories from friends moving here, we were expecting lots of issues. WE have been here for one month and have yet to find an issue! Zack, the assistant property manager, has been excellent in responding to our questions and addressing any concerns. Well done Pulte!

If I could change something it would be the elevation and house selection which was rushed and not explained at all. Explanation about structural add ons to the house was poor and lot appearance features like height and elevation not explained. I had no idea the about the details like shingles, garage door appearance etc. Craftsmanship and, closing has overall been good.

Not happy. My friends hearing the complaints said they will not purchase from that builder

Good construction materials and quality

Our overall experience with Pulte has been excellent. They have been very helpful. Our ONLY complaint is that there are still a few items that have not been fixed from our blue tape meeting. But, I am sure those will be fixed soon.

Overall, we had a good experience. However, they push for closing ASAP, resulting in having to close with a punch list. Once you close, it takes a lot of pushing from you to get things done.

The builder is always in a hurry to close the home. There are few aesthetics that are not finished properly. If they had taken time, they would probably had done a clean job. I still have blue tape issues after closing and I'm probably going to have them done myself.

Too much cost for the upgrade options!

We met with Jordan in March and put our home under contract. We appreciated how she went through the options with us and helped us select what was important for us to receive in a home. From there, Tyler took great care of us. He kept us informed throughout the process, made time to meet us at the property on separate occasions, and properly set our expectations of when the home would be completed. We believe we have received a quality home, delivered at a good value. The home came in within our budget, and seems to have been well constructed. While there are a few items we would have liked to better understand at the outset (such as window options, the look of the front exterior with or without an extended garage, colors, etc.), we are pleased with our home and rate our experience as top-tier. ... From the initial walk-through we explained the handrail did not match what was in the showroom and just by looking at it, you could see it was poorly installed. We paid 17k for this “upgrade” and it has yet to be fixed. Each trade says doing this or doing that is someone else’s responsibility. It has been 2.5months and not been fixed and with the trades not taking responsibility and executing quality work, I don’t think it will ever be fixed properly. It is very disappointing for an “upgrade.” Also it takes over a month to schedule some of the other basic repairs like light switches not working etc. When the trades come out, they also do not have the photos of what I submitted that needs to be fixed so it is a mess. It is not communicated to me what each company is suppose to fix or work on so I have had very few repairs successfully completed since moving in in August(it is now November). ... More

Our experience with Pulte Homes was a mixed bag, as there were positives and negatives. The construction of the home and quality of workmanship were positive. The support we received as customers along the way was not. We had to ask questions repeatedly to get responses. When we made simple requests we often received passive aggressive answers and countless excuses from Gail, who was supposed to be an advocate for us. Our Pulte Closing Coordinator treated our title company and agent in a very negative and condescending way, which was upsetting. After closing when we drove over 30 minutes to pick up our keys, we were treated with skepticism instead of welcomed as new buyers who had already paid our down payment. Our customer care manager was kind at the pre-orientation walk through, but then transitioned to being short with us and "putting us in our place" - we feel far from supported. In a world where customer is king, we feel this experience has been underwhelming to say the least. We are happy with the home, but the overall feeling of being unsupported lasts and it's important to give an honest review of this. ... More

For the price I paid for my brand new Pulte home, I could have bought a used house and still do the fixes that I'm doing on this one. Poor work/finish quality, even after the walk through they missed to fixed stuff (holes on walls, cracked door frames, very bad painted doors. "Construction Managers", and i put them on quote because they are more of Project Managers, they just coordinate for other vendors to do stuff, and they don't even verify the quality or the completeness of the job. All they say is "submit to warranty" & "we all make mistakes", and that's correct, my mistake was choosing Pulte for my home buying experience. ... More

Very easy, everything was up front.

The sales people were very nice and helpful. I like the home, it is a good size for me since its just me and the dogs. There were a couple places where more care could have been taken by the builder, i.e. the vinyl flooring is scuffed in one spot and a couple scrapes on doors have been quickly repaired and don't match the rest of the door's finish. Over all though it seems like a nice house.

Good attention from they seller

Pulte will build you a better and more efficient home than most home builders. However, I am upset with Pulte’s quality control. There have been numerous imperfections with my build that required or require rework. It’s even worse when you feel like a pest when you have to contact the build manager to address the issues and they end up getting mad/annoyed like it’s my fault for catching the imperfections that they failed to fix. It takes less time to do the right thing first than it does to explain or fix the problem later on. It seems that speed is prioritized over accuracy these days when it comes to home building with Pulte. ... More

Our initial building meetings went fairly well. We did run into a few hiccups along the building process. The completion of the build was within the promised timeline. The construction manager was helpful our initial sales person made a few mistakes, causing our realtor to have to do a lot of back work for us. Once in the home, the overall craftsmanship is OK there are some things that were skimped and some things that were done very well. This is our first new build, and we’ve been in the home for a month, we will need more time to complete a more in-depth review.

The house is really good and no issues with the quality

Impatient and rude Sales team makes you wonder whether you’re paying for the house or them. Important options like ceiling height of living area have been hidden by the sales team. We ended up finding the details from neighbors and had to fight to get those options added. House default options are of such low quality we had to upgrade every single component of the house which brought in a 100k options Bill on a 400k house. The second level floor and stairs are of low quality, few jumps might break it. External elevation offerings are so old from 80’s. If not for the location, I would have backed out. Overall my experience is bad. I would not buy my next home from Pulte and won’t recommend to friends. ... More

There were many great floor plans to choose from in the community. The only thing I would change is the ability to adjust where the home sits on the lot for big lots.

The process was quit smooth Stephanie, Dustin and warranty Sarah have been transparent and very helpful in this long process. Thank you for bailing my son out when he did not have a fridge for his milk plus addressing the issues in a timely fashion when they came along
