So happy with my home!!!! I could not have asked for a better team to work with!! Disclaimer: I now work for Pulte homes!!! Such an incredible company and that should speak volumes!

A lot of the angle cuts on boards in the roof structure were very poor. A lot of drywall screws were sunk to deep. They don’t tie all the corners together structurally resulting in cracks in more than 3/4 of the corners. Doors not hung properly allowing for visibility from outside a room.Defective patio door that they didn’t want to deal and passed it on to warranty which still hasn’t been fixed. We had to go back and forth to have lights that we paid extra for put in the correct place. Poor fitting on countertops and trim work they’re solution just a bigger caulking gun..There wasn’t an electrical box in the wall for two of the light fixtures, which I know because I switched out their chrome fixtures for oil rubbed.Several unnecessary holes were cut into walls because workers were unaware of what or where things went. The reveal around the windows was nowhere close to even on several of the windows. The gap in the stone flashing on the front of the house is not consistent. The garage door track hangers were hung poorly, which they did finally level them. After moving in and installing my garage door openers and found that one of the door track hangers wasn’t even fastened into a truss, but instead a 1x4 that was only there to fasten the two ends of the drywall ceiling. We moved into our new Pulte home that was extremely well built. All items on our walk through list were taken care of before we moved in by our construction manager. One issue was major in my opinion and he took great care of it! All issues we have found after we moved in have been dealt with by the warranty manager and his warranty team. They all have been super responsive. It has been nothing by a very positive pre and post buying experience with the Pulte team. Thank you

From start to finish John M. was excellent to work with. We received timely updates on the progress of the build to include weekly photos. If we had any questions, John was very timely in responding. Overall, it was a wonderful experience working with this builder. Five stars!!!

I thought that the decision making process was too quick and pushy. Then I dont think there was an adequate follow up to the various conditions of the house. Yes, I think the house is in pretty solid shape but I did not love the experience.

Everything has been great except our fireplace experience. We have had prompt response to repairs but the vinyl siding is melting due to heat exhaustion. It has been repaired and vinyl siding replacement is pending. We’ve also heard that we are not the only homeowners with this issue. We also have had some concerns with a low lying area in our natural area. I believe the delay is due to Charleston county.

Buying a new build can be scary but this process was very smooth. Our home was completed on time as promised and we had a wonderful team with Monica in sales and Kevin as our project manager. They made us feel comfortable and confident the entire process. The home is lovely and we've had no issues other than a minor plumbing issue on day one that was not followed up on (hence the 3 star) but overall it was a wonderful experience. If I ever buy/sell/move again I would very much consider a Pulte home. Thank you!

I had a nightmarish experience purchasing and building a home with Pulte. The craftsmanship was shockingly poor, with numerous defects and shoddy workmanship evident throughout the construction process. To make matters worse, it became apparent that unskilled labor was employed, leading to further complications and delays. In a disturbing revelation, it was discovered that some workers were underage and involved in illegal labor practices. This entire ordeal highlighted the importance of thorough research and due diligence when selecting a home builder. Despite numerous complaints, the builder failed to address major issues plaguing the house. Every window bore noticeable scratches, a glaring sign of the lack of attention to detail. Shockingly, almost every kitchen cabinet required replacement due to subpar quality and craftsmanship. The builder's negligence in resolving these fundamental issues underscored their disregard for customer satisfaction and raised serious questions about their commitment to delivering a quality product. We loved how we would get weekly updates. Julio stayed on top of it as well as Skylar. We also liked how available they were when it came to answering our questions.

I purchased Home recently with Pulte, After Closing I noticed few issues which needs to be fixed for my appliances to work. Like Gas line was missing for my Kitchen & Cabinet cut for Wall oven was proper. I made Pulte aware of this issues & requested them to fix ASAP. Tim from Pulte helped me fixing this issues in record time of 2 days . I appreciate their time & efforts looking into my problems & resolving them on priority. My overall Home buying experience was great.

From sales to closing it was a very good experience. Communication system works well as does direct personal weekly check ins with Team Pulte at Highpointe. Daniela and Ryan did a superb job.

Had built a new home many years ago with another builder, so this was a second-time-around experience for us. The process can be an emotional roller coaster, especially depending on the builder’s response to any questions or concerns. But working with Diane (Sales Agent) and Dustin (Construction Manager) was easy and enjoyable. All questions were taken seriously, responded to quickly, and resolved ASAP. We are especially appreciative of Dustin in managing our build and his oversight of the quality of construction. He truly was a joy to work with. The mortgage that we have to use in order to receive the incentives, is terrible at best. These house get built so fast they lack details, all the house are the same, the walls are not sanded well, and paints is patchy. Adding things like a dish-wash dispenser next to The sink faucet or soft closing option doesnt cost alot but these touches would make the home buyer feel like it wasnt just a wood box and pulte put it together. I bought an NV home before and I will always go with NV from Now on. By the time the home buyer pays off the house, it would cost million or $1.5 mil, put a little effort. ... More

Pre-sales and sales experience was good – responsive, knowledgeable staff Design choices were pretty clear and the team was quite helpful After that, things went down-hill quickly Communication during the build process is pretty non-existent. At points we were just told blatant lies. Expect the refrain “we’re better than the other construction companies”… doesn’t mean “good” – just less bad? No meaningful response or answer to concerns raised during build process. NO-ONE at Pulte watches quality issues on the build. BUYER has to be looking at all aspects of build quality. Expect arguments and excuses for any issues raised during the build process. Expect schedule is just a work of fiction. It will change with zero notice or reasons offered for the changes Be careful of materials quality issues – big example is windows & screens – rattles, poor fit, excuses for both, not fixes. Be careful of damage during construction – e.g. bathtubs go in very early – and finish gets badly damaged during rest of the process. Watch for level & plumb…. Door handles on cabinets installed crooked – then just re-drilled instead of proper fixes Get your own independent home inspection prior to final walk-through – it will help in addressing defects! Oh – best part – if you don’t sign off that you’re satisfied we were told “they won’t let you close”. Warranty team seems very responsive and is trying to address issues from construction If you are prepared for the drama you will have a better experience. If you have expectations that the builder is watching quality and communicating, you will be disappointed. ... More

Pulte is a quality builder but he’s only as good as the Sub Contractors he hires. Workmanship could have been better but overall I’m satisfied with my purchase.

Easy to talk to their sale person or the office manager they are very much help full all the way This is my second home we bought from Pulte their staff is great
