Patrick was a superb salesman answered all questions. Joe was excellent construction manager who explained and showed the details of the mechanical parts of the house.

We found a house in the early stages of construction and felt it would meet our needs. From that point on we dealt with the various members of the Pulte team, including the mortgage financing, insurance and closing agent to get a great house. Sales rep and construction manager worked with us and answered all our questions and made the deal happen. We are very pleased.

Pulte touts their quality control, pride in the care of their new construction and communication. Quality control was missing and communication was one way - from Pulte to resident. The video describing a “celebration walk thru” is not what we experienced. Our celebration walk was nothing close to a celebration. Our home was not complete or clean. Broken window, missing items that should have been in the home, all finishes both inside and outside the home were sloppy and unprofessional. Communication was poor. From the initial stages to the completion of the process, Josh has been exceptionally informative about the intricacies of the construction, instilling in me a great deal of confidence in my decision to purchase the home. I couldn't have asked for a better partner to guide me through every step of the way.

The sales experience was amazing, all of our questions were answered promptly and confidently. The build process should and close should pay more attention to details. Some of the contractors appeared to just want to get the job done and move on. Paint and drywall could have been better. Overall we are happy with our home

The finish work is pretty horrendous, even after the last two walk arounds. Dents, scratches, holes, cracks, paint drippings, mud drippings (not sanded yet painted over) in all the walls throughout the home, trim pieces damaged, sprinkler system damage, entry doors paint chipped, nails and debris left on roof, caulk grout cracking in bathrooms and window edges and kitchen, and more. Basically zero attention to detail. One can only hope that the rest of the work inside the walls during rough/plumbing/electrical was done by workers which take a lot more pride in the work they do.

Had a great experience throughout the build process. Our sales agent, construction manager and warranty manager were great. We love our new home.

We had a horrible experience with Pulte. They tried to make us close when the house was nowhere near being complete. Their quality of workmanship is horrible and subpar. We’ve had so many issues in the house. We honestly would probably never build with Pulte again and this is $1 million house. I can imagine what they do for less expensive homes.

Troy took the time to get to know us and our needs for a home. He spent a lot of time during our multiple visits in guiding us through the process of selecting the right set of options for the build. JC our construction manager took it from there and worked to ensure the house was a quality build. He worked diligently to address the few issues found during home inspection. For the few issues (minor roof leak, paint work, caulking, etc.) found since our move-in, Pulte Warranty has been very responsive in getting them addressed.

Donot close your home with any issues pending. Construction Managers are so irresponsible and donot address minor issues despite of 10+ reminders. Lennar has a better quality homes compared to Pulte Homes. With the money they took and quality they delivered is poor. They pretend to be acting on issues but they never.

The upgrading process is absurd. I understand upgrading is expected if you want nice things, but the level to which they nickel and dime you on upgrades is egregious. Like who doesn’t want lighting in their bedrooms? How on earth is that upgrade? Selling a stove and microwave but not a fridge makes no sense. The cheap wire shelving that comes in every closet is an embarrassment. Even on the building itself they cut corners. Studs are supposed to be 16 inches apart by standard. They did 22 inches apart to save on lumber. They only use flat paint because semi-gloss or better requires better plastering skill. Had I had a clearer vision of the final cost of everything, I would’ve bought a house and dumped $100k into renovating it instead. But this community is nice and very close to the train. So I would like to give my opinion on the whole pulte process, initially given a day in October to close, they wanted it done by September so I agreed and went ahead with it, Steve did a good job finishing things up and house looked good at closure, a couple of issues existed which he was prompt with, even though he got sick he still responded, I do appreciate that, still one more issue we are waiting on but I am not sure if its due to health issues so I of course will be patient, now the mortgage side was not very well done, I think they wanted to close so they could quickly turn around and sell the mortgage off, which they did in 11 days, before the first payment was done, I was told by pulte mortgage that they gave the new loan holder my current mailing address which never happened, never got a letter stating the change in loan holder, after multiple calls to pulte, the letter was resent, also was told they had a breach with their system, which explains why I could never get set up in it, finally after getting multiple tries I was able to get a real person who did not have our current mailing address , why I should have to spend hours doing this is ridiculous, anyway, thats my story, thanks ... The Pulte Team at Potomac Shores Town Center is top notch! The stage was set by Jennifer, the sales person and followed up by an excellent experience with John, the project manager. I can not say enough good things about this team!! Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure all questions were answered and she had impecable attention to detail throughout the entire buying process-she is a true advocate on the buyer side and great representative of Pulte (a perfect pairing). John carried the good service through to the construction phase. Going above and beyond to take care of questions, concerns, items and even addressing an item on his day off after the closing had already occurred!! The number of problems that we have had in our home have been too many to count. Not only do we have some rather large problems, such as cabinets being gouged, doorbell never working, gas leaking from fireplace, etc, but getting these issues fixed seems to be nearly impossible.

Mike was extremely responsive and proactive. He was always there for us if we had any issues he was just a phone call away. I would say there couldn't be a better experience than what we had with Mike.

Our experience with Pulte was really good.

Our first tie building a house. Pulte provided a great experience from buying to building. Our on site super is great to work with. We were kept well informed throughout the construction process.

Although the home building process can be stressful. Was there to work with us through many of the stressful situations. They were accommodated and responsive to all of our requests and needs.
