I feel like the home was well built. Our contractor Brian was responsive to concerns and it’s designed so well. We love how our home looks and Brian went over and beyond.

I love my new home. Pulte’s Ryan and Charlie have been so kind and responsive. The added special touches like the ceiling, porches, kitchen and so much more do make the house exceptional. It already feels like home. Thank you pulte

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Pulte. From the sales process to our closing date and even beyond that, there have been issues on all levels. On our closing date we were still missing our oven and there were over 30 incomplete items that still needed to be fixed. Here we are almost 2 months after our closing and only a fraction of the issues have been fixed. We would never build with Pulte again.

The process of buying a home directly from Pulte and their subsidiaries is siloed process that creates headaches for buyers and finger pointing amongst the Pulte group. The only bright spot in their operation was our construction manager Adam. We started off our process with Steve the salesman. He showed us the model and multiple properties which was pleasant. As we walked thru the home that we eventually purchased there were some issues that Steve acknowledged and assured us would be corrected before our next visit. As time went on it was clear that Steve was not going to address the issues and we would have to work directly with Adam to solve the issues. Steve also failed to disclose the closing date to us and passed the buck to Pulte mortgage. Be prepared to jump through multiple hoops when you work with Pulte mortgage. After our financial information was uploaded into their database, it was not vetted prior to being passed over to under writing so the database did not have the correct information for underwriting to review. We explained numerous times to our point person that this should be corrected and instead of working with us they passed us over to a new person. After multiple uploads of information, it became clear that the Pulte mortgage process had numerous gaps that had to be closed by the customer instead of the mortgage group. Also, the closing documents had to be sent to us numerous times due to typos and incorrect information. We were passed to different point people throughout the process and struggled to get correct information. Often, we felt like they were not disclosing information to us, and we were not allowed to speak with the people making the decisions. A silo within the silo of Pulte group. After navigating our way through the most confusing process of our lives we finally found a bright spot inside the Pulte group when we met Adam our construction manager. He was the first person who told us are actual closing date, Pulte mortgage and Steve would not provide us that information and pointed fingers at each other. Also, he walked us though the process and we finally felt like we could trust someone within Pulte. This was a pleasant surprise because going into that meeting, we did not have any faith in Pulte and expected more of the same type of customer service we had with other members. Pulte worked with me as I sold my previous house to purchase the Pulte home. They were flexible when I needed to push out closing due to the timeliness of my buyers. Thank you Pulte!

We have enjoyed working with Pulte more than we anticipated. Often, building and buying a home is stressful or the process experiences delays. Our experience with Pulte has convinced us that maybe building and buying a home can actually be a pleasant, even enjoyable experience. We have appreciated the honesty, responsiveness to our questions, the flexibility and understanding of our unique life as US Government employees who travel frequently, and the quality of workmanship and craft in the trades responsible for building the home. The construction manager and Pulte representative were always on the same page. The construction manager was brief but generous with his time. The inspections found only minor issues that were often resolved before the inspection report was submitted. I would definitely seek out a Pulte build for future investment or home-buying opportunities. I would also recommend Pulte to other government employees with unique lifestyles, as it is not often that realtors/builders understand the lifestyle and the impact of it on the home building and buying process, particularly the timelines we work under and the need to plan years ahead and do business from overseas. ... Our new home had quite a few unfinished issues. Mark worked with Angela and helped and ensured that the pressing things were taken care of and handled. There are still a couple things but very minor. Overall if we don’t have Mark to ease our concerns we would not have had as good of experience. The online submission form for requests is an easy process. Our home is beautiful and looking forward to settling in. Thank you Mark for making our home a home for our family.

Multiple issues were identified prior to the closing and now 5 weeks after closing, 80% of them are still outstanding. Multiple emails and phone calls have been made attempting to resolve these matters. Poor craftsmanship across the board. Very disappointed and frustrated. I expected more from Pulte.

Mike was a great field / construction manager and was very detailed throughout the process. Also, Mike provides great & consistent communication throughout the process. Pulte has made it easy for me. LaShay in sales was also great to work with as well and is always friendly and continue to provide us updates as needed as well.

Our job superintendent was super caring and communicative. We did have some bumps to be expected with a new build-cracked tub-which got replaced after closing. Refrigerator doors had rust on them not noticed until after the closing-weather stripping in entry door needed adjustment as bugs were coming in. Our sales person left Pulte during our build so Tucker took her role on. I know he was busy but really went above and beyond to make sure our concerns were all addressed. We were told by sales agent we wouldn’t have a problem getting a pool installed-the homes are so close together-our neighbors are concerned for damage to their property-potentially holding up the process. There is NO view in the yard so I’m hoping we are able to get the pool we want. ... More

We had a good experience with everything, Mary and Chad were very attentive. If we had any questions or concerns they were answered or rectified.

Unhappy with the process and home price. The price of the last 5 available homes went down 20K in a week after we signed the contract for our home, which was totally unfair. I was negotiating with Sales Consultant and management to reduce the price of my home for almost a month and i don't understand why they did not consider my request if they have a plan to reduce the price. Also they say we go by contract but they wont follow the contract, only buyer need to follow the contract.

Took 8 months to build which was longer that was told. Cost was high plus interest rate increase made it go up even more. It's a great house and we like it a lot, but it took a lot of sacrifice to purchase.

Marilyn and Shane did a fantastic job. Will definitely pursue another deal with Pulte.

Everyone involved was personal and professional. They were always responsive to questions and/or concerns we had. They kept us informed through the entire process.

I am so happy to have my new home until Christman's Holidays.

The experience of being part of building a new home is good. Everyone involved from pulte were responsive to the questions we had. The timeline of the construction is what we expected. The only issue we faced are the the little (although a lot of) finishing touches to the trim, paint, extra holes in drywall etc.

We would NEVER recommend building with Pulte Homes. They have ruined our first home building experience and caused immense stress and anxiety levels. The quality of the trades that are used on the homes are elementary. Structure and room are solid. There were children painting in some of the homes, hinges were painted and flooring was painted. Our countertop not installed straight and many of the holes cut into the cabinets appeared to be cut with the wrong tool, holes drilled and not measured properly, caulk and paint used to cover up errors. Tiles were cracked in the master shower. Throughout this process, we communicated issues that we saw with the construction manager and upper levels of management, no on ever apologized and they promised quality and to fix the issues to ensure we loved it. We have been there for a month and continue to find areas that aren't painted, tile that is chipped and cabinets are TRASH. Quality does not exist for this company and they will work to cover it all up. They need to work on process improvement, they do NOT deliver a quality product. Homes were started after ours and homeowners moved in before us, priority is not considered with Pulte. You are treated like a number and their homes are over priced. Their "process" does not work. Closing date was pushed several times due to trades not completing their work on time and construction manager not managing the process adequately, which cost us additional funds in interest hikes. I recently had the pleasure of working with Dan Hine the construction Manger and Jennifer the sales Rep. i cant express enough how impressed I am with their outstanding management skills. From start to finish ( Jennifer and Dan) demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, transforming what could have been a daunting process into a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Home buying experience with Pulte was seamless. However there is room for improvement in the area of communication (response time) and workmanship. Based on our interactions with the team we are hopeful workmanship issues will be somewhat resolved during warranty period.
