We met with Jordan in March and put our home under contract. We appreciated how she went through the options with us and helped us select what was important for us to receive in a home. From there, Tyler took great care of us. He kept us informed throughout the process, made time to meet us at the property on separate occasions, and properly set our expectations of when the home would be completed. We believe we have received a quality home, delivered at a good value. The home came in within our budget, and seems to have been well constructed. While there are a few items we would have liked to better understand at the outset (such as window options, the look of the front exterior with or without an extended garage, colors, etc.), we are pleased with our home and rate our experience as top-tier. ... From the initial walk-through we explained the handrail did not match what was in the showroom and just by looking at it, you could see it was poorly installed. We paid 17k for this “upgrade” and it has yet to be fixed. Each trade says doing this or doing that is someone else’s responsibility. It has been 2.5months and not been fixed and with the trades not taking responsibility and executing quality work, I don’t think it will ever be fixed properly. It is very disappointing for an “upgrade.” Also it takes over a month to schedule some of the other basic repairs like light switches not working etc. When the trades come out, they also do not have the photos of what I submitted that needs to be fixed so it is a mess. It is not communicated to me what each company is suppose to fix or work on so I have had very few repairs successfully completed since moving in in August(it is now November). ... More

Our experience with Pulte Homes was a mixed bag, as there were positives and negatives. The construction of the home and quality of workmanship were positive. The support we received as customers along the way was not. We had to ask questions repeatedly to get responses. When we made simple requests we often received passive aggressive answers and countless excuses from Gail, who was supposed to be an advocate for us. Our Pulte Closing Coordinator treated our title company and agent in a very negative and condescending way, which was upsetting. After closing when we drove over 30 minutes to pick up our keys, we were treated with skepticism instead of welcomed as new buyers who had already paid our down payment. Our customer care manager was kind at the pre-orientation walk through, but then transitioned to being short with us and "putting us in our place" - we feel far from supported. In a world where customer is king, we feel this experience has been underwhelming to say the least. For the price I paid for my brand new Pulte home, I could have bought a used house and still do the fixes that I'm doing on this one. Poor work/finish quality, even after the walk through they missed to fixed stuff (holes on walls, cracked door frames, very bad painted doors. "Construction Managers", and i put them on quote because they are more of Project Managers, they just coordinate for other vendors to do stuff, and they don't even verify the quality or the completeness of the job. All they say is "submit to warranty" & "we all make mistakes", and that's correct, my mistake was choosing Pulte for my home buying experience. ... More

Very easy, everything was up front.

The sales people were very nice and helpful. I like the home, it is a good size for me since its just me and the dogs. There were a couple places where more care could have been taken by the builder, i.e. the vinyl flooring is scuffed in one spot and a couple scrapes on doors have been quickly repaired and don't match the rest of the door's finish. Over all though it seems like a nice house.

Good attention from they seller

Pulte will build you a better and more efficient home than most home builders. However, I am upset with Pulte’s quality control. There have been numerous imperfections with my build that required or require rework. It’s even worse when you feel like a pest when you have to contact the build manager to address the issues and they end up getting mad/annoyed like it’s my fault for catching the imperfections that they failed to fix. It takes less time to do the right thing first than it does to explain or fix the problem later on. Our initial building meetings went fairly well. We did run into a few hiccups along the building process. The completion of the build was within the promised timeline. The construction manager was helpful our initial sales person made a few mistakes, causing our realtor to have to do a lot of back work for us. Once in the home, the overall craftsmanship is OK there are some things that were skimped and some things that were done very well. This is our first new build, and we’ve been in the home for a month, we will need more time to complete a more in-depth review.

The house is really good and no issues with the quality

Impatient and rude Sales team makes you wonder whether you’re paying for the house or them. Important options like ceiling height of living area have been hidden by the sales team. We ended up finding the details from neighbors and had to fight to get those options added. House default options are of such low quality we had to upgrade every single component of the house which brought in a 100k options Bill on a 400k house. The second level floor and stairs are of low quality, few jumps might break it. External elevation offerings are so old from 80’s. If not for the location, I would have backed out. There were many great floor plans to choose from in the community. The only thing I would change is the ability to adjust where the home sits on the lot for big lots.

The process was quit smooth Stephanie, Dustin and warranty Sarah have been transparent and very helpful in this long process. Thank you for bailing my son out when he did not have a fridge for his milk plus addressing the issues in a timely fashion when they came along

Overall, the process went relatively smoothly, but the closing did feel somewhat rushed. If given the opportunity, I'd aim to address concerns and identify any issues before the house closing, rather than relying solely on emails and support tickets. While I appreciate the ability to comprehend the issues, it seems that the actual resolution can be a bit challenging. The Pulte team has been quite cooperative in answering various questions, although there have been some difficulties in getting certain things fixed. Having purchased a new home, one should naturally feel happy, yet there's a sense of something missing if I'm not vigilant about a few matters and occasionally forget to follow up. It would be beneficial to see more proactive ownership of the issues I've identified, reducing the need for repeated contacts with the service department. ... More

Edward, the construction manager, went over and above trying to make things right. He made sure that repairs were done up to high quality. There have been issues with several items that needed attention. The biggest of which is the quality and workmanship of the blinds that were installed in the house. Edward has tried at every level to help work through this issue and hopefully by November 8, when the blind company returns, there will be a resolution.

When I found the Pulte community of new townhouses in Sudbury Ma, I was so happy! We purchased on of the Ashton design, and we are so happy. Quality workmanship and the crew we delt with are super nice and very helpful. Value was also great for what we got. We would buy a Pulte home in a heartbeat in the future. Thank you for making our dream come true :)

can only speak from the off the shelf lens. Some painting touch ups missed. Some cabinets, appliances not ready. Team forgot to punch out my water drain - so water in the house first week here. Team is slowly correcting. In my experience, things were missed. I really wanted turn key and easy for new build - we were close, but not all the way there.. This was also the slowest closing of my life (2 hours - because the names were wrong on most of the paperwork) and pulte has already sold the mortgage (totally normal but someone from pulte made a 10 minute conversation on how that wouldn't happen for 90 days; it happened in weeks). ... Things that are terrible in our home: the paint, frame, drywall seams, missing range and dishwasher components, damaged microwave, unfinished paint, sketchy fixes to issues (they will hide or try to hide problems before they fix them properly, you have to make them), missing studs behind drywall seams and a host of other issues. Their homes are not measured and framed on site, all walls and joists are assembled off site soemwhere and shipped on a truck so that's one of the reasons why the drywalls seams are so bad. The craftsmanship is a joke and we get to live there, thanks Pulte.

Angel was exemplary. He kept us updated on everything including pictures every few months. He was truly a professional and we could not have been more pleased with him! We are very happy with our new home. We would highly recommend him for anyone building a home!

Dee, Jessica, and Travis were great to work with. Everyone we interacted with were very helpful and knowledgeable.

When I viewed the home at the open house there was a 4ft puddle in the basement. I was told that it is was residual water from the basement floor being cleaned. Fast forward 30+ days after closing and $599,990 later, I have a 4ft x 3ft puddle in the basement in the exact same location. Shame on me for trusting their word. Will they fix it? Even if they do, that’s a lot of money to spend on being hoodwinked.

I am very dissapointed in the home. There are visible defects in many areas and I don't have confidence in the construction. I don't plan to move in. I felt rushed and misled in the process and when I tried to cancel the purchase they made it clear they'd keep my deposit. Issues haven't been resolved. Very, very disappointing.

PULTE, home buying experience was made easy by the professionalism and friendliness of the PULTE agent Troy. Everything was explained in detail. All my questions were answered no problems at all for me highly recommend Pulte.

I would never recommend Pulte as a builder to friends and family. Extremely poor communication, lack of transparency, lack of empathy working with home buyers. The sales and construction teams are also difficult to work with and never deliver anything to their promise. I recommend that other buyers consider other options and avoid Pulte Homes until they fix their issues.
