The overall purchasing experience was good. Modifications are not allowed after the given time, even if it's by a day or two. Fine, it's understandable. The overall quality for the price set is extremely disappointing. Carpet areas were not clean and the carpet placed on top of whatever was on the floor. The appliances had a similar outcome, when removed to clean floors, there was material left over underneath them. The kitchen cabinetry has wasted space in the corner areas. The modules touch one another leaving an empty space in between that could have been used should a corner cabinetry have been used instead. A week after moving in, the patio sliding door stopped working and wouldn't close at all. The emergency after hour customer service was horrible and unhelpful. A month later and the door is still to be fixed. Attempting on a 3rd appointment, all which have been a no show. Anyhow, I could continue, but you get the idea...... It can be better! There is such a rush to just close on the homes to finish the project that the little things get dismissed. ... More

We were very happy on closing day, and things we brought up were generally addressed. But now that we’ve been here for a month, we keep finding minor workmanship issues that have us concerned for the longevity of the home. We enjoyed this process overall. Hopefully we don’t find too many more issues that would change our minds about that in the coming months.

It's been a long journey, with no end in sight. We are not happy with the deficient workmanship of the trades Pulte hired. Little attention to detail on the finishes leading to multiple delays in closing. To say that this process has been very frustrating is an understatement and would not recommend this builder to anyone. People are nice, but this is our home, and unfortunately, they did not take that in consideration. They say they understood our concerns, but they didn't. Piece of advice: be vigilant and hold builders accountable throughout the home building process.

Overall, I am happy with the quality of the house. However, the customer service of the builder is very very low. They will promise you the world to get you to buy the house and to have you to write a good review, but will drop contact and won't address anything they should have fixed once it is done.

Pulse Home and all their staff were amazing making sure our house was ready, they respected deadlines and did not offer things they couldn't give. I recommend Pulte Home 1,000%

The house is nice but in certain finishes you can tell they went cheap.

Poor workmanship - lots of sloppy work. Paint runs and spatters, cracks and chips in tile and quartz counter tops, kitchen cabinets and all doors (including glass shower doors and sliders misaligned. Trim was low cost and fairly rough for price. Door trim at front door is peeling away from frame. Responsiveness to problems was slow from the sales personnel to the construction managers.

We rated this based on our experience with all aspects of Pulte and their subcontractors. If this survey pertains specifically to our construction manager, Joey, then the rating is high. If this survey pertains to vendor like SST, then the rating is 1-2.

Pulte homes, St. Augustine, FL division did not deliver the home on time, did not make sure all the issues found in the pre walkthrough are addressed by the closing date. The post sales support team is not even responsive. No progress on the issues raised during the final walkthrough nor any communication on their plan in addressing the issues raised. This division is only interested in making the sale and making the money. They are least bothered about the customers or their satisfaction. They have a few good employees that certainly want to help the buyers. But the rest of their culture from top to bottom is careless towards customers. Very easy process and everything went smoothly

We wanted a fast track closing - Pulte Homes delivered that - the home we purchased was already built - there were no items to choose from or discuss with the sales agent or builder - we think that because we were not involved from the beginning, some of the items we have discovered leading up to and immediately POST closing are items that would have been addressed early on in the process - now we are just handling through the warranty/customer care process instead of the build process - some of the items are frustrating (like loose outlets/missing screws/stuck doors) - others are simply an annoyance (inability to register HVAC unit) - overall, the people with all the different divisions of Pulte have been willing to assist and make things work - "do the right thing" is a core value and our experience is that they do live out that value ... The salesperson, Zorinel was very pleasant and patient from the start. She did a virtual tour of the property even though the actual model was not actually available. She answered questions promptly and fully as much as she could. Even when she was transferred to another location, she made herself available to answer questions and concerns. Overall, a good experience.

Overall, a great experience building a new home. I have heard horror stories about building a new build home but, we did not experience any problems. It was much quicker, from Dig date to move in date, than anticipated, only took 5 months. We love our beautiful home!

Have a home inspector take a look and forward recommendations to the building superintendent. Compliments to Travis who has complied with all needed repairs. Substandard kitchen cabinets for homes in the $500K price range.

We are so disappointed with our Pulte experience. We have had to submit multiple warranty work orders for items such as the guest bathroom exhaust fan vent was not connected to the outside of the attic; the closet doors were hung crooked; paint splatter spots on the tile floor, on countertops, and on the trim; chipped and lipped tiles, and missing grout - still not resolved; the island countertop has a scratch across the entire surface - still not resolved; the fiber optic cable for internet is not properly connected to the house - the cable currently runs across my lawn and my neighbor's lawn; multiple stained and chipped pavers by the front door, in the driveway, and in the lanai - still not resolved; no hot or cold water at the water pipes at the pre-plumbed outdoor kitchen (they suspect the pipes are crushed under the foundation - still not resolved. Just today, two of the scheduled vendors to address the paver issues never showed up. ... More

We were very pleased with our overall experience with Pulte and with the knowledge level of their staff!

You guys don't do anything and never keep your word

Alex is a decent builder he could do better but he was always saying we cannot get the perfect house. If we are finding mistakes then you should resolve it and you cannot say you will not have a perfect house every time. Management is very bad they are supporting the managers even when it is their mistake. Jenny looked like she is a good person when we were buying the house immediately after buying she showed us a different color. She is saying if we do not like we can leave the earnest money and leave. It is not 1$ to leave you cannot be so rude to people buying your bad houses. Paint job is bad they applied paint on the chandeliers too. Plan of the house is also bad. Paying 730 k for this house and you cannot deliver a perfect house and also have paint issues. My money is just wasted. Worst things of all is the backyard our inspection person told that this is a crappy backyard work. They were a big drop on our backyard and it is looking very bad. I have to spend another 20k to fix it. ... More

I feel like many of the delays I was not kept honestly aware of. The project manager sent a funny joke that i did not need. I just wanted honesty as to the progress of the home. It was a fast move in sale so they said and it took from November to July to complete.

1. When you use Puhlte mortgage company, they change rates on different items to keep your money. It doesn’t do any good to buy down your rate because your payment stays the same with the increase of charges they add. 2. Very hard to get them to fix any new house issues, in a timely manner. The construction manager and maintenance crew will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you off their backs and it won’t be true. Still waiting to have issues taken care of from the day I moved in. 3. The maintenance rarely shows up on the date/time that was given to you. They waste your time taken off from work. ... More

Everything went great lead builder was awesome

Although we like the unit, dealing with Pulte has been very frustrating. From sales, to closing, to builder manager, to "customer care", there is a overall lack of communication and transparency. Finishing of our unit is messy and careless. Many items on our punch list have not been fixed, and our customer care people have not responded to our email requesting a meeting. Even a simple acknowledgement of our email would have been appreciated. Taking the experience as a whole, knowing what we know now, I doubt we would have bought from Pulte.

Good high quality materials used in our home. Very excellent customer aervice by all of the pulte employees from loan/mortgage team members to maintenance. Had a very good experience overall. Highly recommended to go with pulte homes!

Great sales experience , easy financing , great layouts and materials . Only issues happened once I moved in, glitches with appliances , electrical issues took way too long to be fixed . Otherwise super happy w my new home !
