The overall experience is good.

The quality of workmanship is low and it takes forever for them to come and fix the issues. The materials are very good but it is the opposite when it comes to workmanship and after sale support.

Sensational house, equipped and decorated. Indoor pool and game room in house 4057! Comfortable, clean rooms! Sensational club, with perfect restaurant infrastructure for sunny days in Florida!

Build manager Matt was awesome, really made our experience great. We’ve built before and he is by far the best we’ve encountered. House is solid.

Would look at other builders next time. Sales person left company during sale and no one informed me. Very poor communication.

It was a wonderful and easy experience buying our new condo at Pennington Crossing by Pulte Homes. We are very happy with how smooth the process was and how they communicated everything we needed to know.

A painful experience, it was unorganized, and A LOT of miscommunication between EACH department making it a pain in the butt to go through. Terrible communication, they were not able to communicate with me, and terrible communication to the construction manager, customer service manager, etc. We were NOT informed when we were allowed to hire an inspector. I heard from other Pulte Homeowners that they were also not able to hire an inspector prior to closing. Super sneaky and unprofessional behavior. When I received my house, it came with A LOT of issues, that were NOT addressed until it got taken up to CORPORATE. Very unsure of purchasing a Pulte home again. ... More

Pulte mortgage is the worst. Construction crew was great.

Brandon our project manager was great at communicating and helping us through our closing process. If you have an option to use a different mortgage provided, we do not recommend pulte mortgage.

The house would be perfect but the drywalls finish as well as the paint are horrendous! Pulte response to issues is excellent but the drywalls are a disaster as well as the paint job!

Poor workmanship, the quality process is very very poor. Houses pass quality inspection with lots of things missing from what we signed up for. Many items are not in working order and had t be fixed after closing. Response to issues is very poor. Construction team just tries to dust off issues.

The team was great to work with- sales, titles and final inspection.

Good Experience with Pulte homes

Ron was incredible, attentive and made the experience perfect. We had no questions about the building process, kept informed all the way. Everything on the lunch list done timely. Would buy again!

If you have a choice, choose another builder. Shoddy workmanship, no customer support and non-existent customer service after closing.

We experiences delay after delay in the construction of our new home and did not close until more than nine months after the promised date. Error after error was made, and our house sat for weeks at a time with no work being done, while houses around us (most significantly including Pulte spec homes - built for their own account) started months after ours and closed months before. Even at the end point we were rushed to close with major items not yet completed. Now, more than 30 days after closing, we still have a very long punch list of items to be completed. Several are significant, including improperly installed gutter/siding where water pours directly onto a window and behind the siding. And a grading issue in the back yard that has our outdoor patio/lanai halfway flooding in a heavy rain. Quality of the structure elements seems OK, but major system and finishing details have been very poorly executed. If you are looking for a high-quality "semi-custom" build experience with great customer focus and service, I cannot recommend Pulte. ... More

Bought a new home in Florida for just under a half million dollars. The interior of the home displays the worst level of “finish” work I have seen. Low quality materials, rough finish work on most baseboards and door and window frames. Entire kitchen and three full baths contained zero handles or pulls on any cabinets and drawers. House was still very dirty from construction debris when we took possession. A full month has passed and we are still finding things that need replacement or fixing. Not a good reflection on this builder.

From the first day we met our Pulte Sales rep, B, we were treated like VIPs. Every question answered. Every concern addressed. Every need fulfilled. We also used the Pulte Mortgage group, and the service there was equally great. We got a very good rate, and we are very pleased with the entire transparent process. After we moved in, the project Manager Mike has been incredibly helpful, and has quickly responded to our questions. Honestly, the Customer Service felt like what we used to experience decades ago. The home itself is top notch. The build and finish are very high quality, and exactly what we hoped for. We would recommend the Pulte Las Vegas team to anyone. ... More

Pulte built our new home at Waterways in Richmond Hill, Ga. Our Construction Manager, Jerry Little, was excellent. We were 800 miles away while the home was being built but thanks to frequent phone calls, texts and photos it felt like we were watching the house be built. Jerry explained all of the quality features and processes Pulte uses to build their homes. All of our inspections went very well. We always felt that Jerry sweated every detail and we always felt he was building our home with the care and attention he would use if he was building it for himself. From the first sales encounter to the overview from Angel, our construction manager - they all made sure everything was clear and gone over!!

Poor communication during buying process. Excellent in on line communication however difficult to talk to a person. Sales staff say No to every request without an explanation. Had to speak to upper management several times for simple requests. Walk through was very unfriendly and so impersonal. Follow thru during first days of moving in was ignored by all. Had a burning smell in Microwave and asked in writing if they could look at it. Wanted them to pull the oven out so it could be unplugged. No response Had a fire in microwave 3 days later with the fire department at my house at 1130 Pm( microwave was not in use at the time of incident) Pulte is very poor on follow up, customer service and communication ... Very good quality and service

Pulte has a very good process, and is responsive to issues. They do exclusively use contractors for the various steps of the construction process. That can be both good and bad. I don't know if they keep a very high retainage in order to remedy issues and assure quality control.
