Overall, good experience throughout. Superintendent was very knowledgeable of the home systems and walking me through the maintenance items. Where I will knockdown a couple of points is the attention to details. There are various locations where paint was smudged on finishes, or floor base wasn’t patched or touched up at corners, but nothing big as of one month in the home. I will also say, the worst of my experience were the final stages of my process with my loan processor and closing agent. They all decided to go on vacation on my closing day without notifying me of who to contact in the case of questions. Overall good acceptable experience. ... More

It took to long to close on the house

We have several issues mainly related to design and architecture ranging from unreachable switches to rain water getting into the house from exterior door. Can’t even open the back door of suv while parked in the garage. The plumbing clean outs are installed in the master closet!!!!! The namesake laundry room is designed poorly. I could go on…..

Sloppy trades, especially painters. Cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms not installed properly, huge gaps, do not close like they should, peeling, bubbling. Caulking looks like a five-year-old did it.

Very difficult to get in touch with anyone during the building process. We also had very basic requests post close that are completely unwilling to work with us on. Honestly I feel like there is a bit of common sense missing on Pultes side throughout this process very frustrating.

The sales person and my builder were great to me throughout whole process and were extremely communicative and responsive. My whole experience as a first time home buyer was great thanks to them!

Great experience great team made it easy

Several items were not completed before moving in. Several delays in finishing house. We spent thousands in rental fees while waiting for Pulte to finish our house. When my wife went to get an entrance key for the gym, the person to give those out to her told her she would need to provide a warranty deed before she would be allowed to use the facility. Why is this? Doesn’t Pulte Homes know of a thing called email. Could Pulte Closing just send an email stating who we are and which house we have bought. I am not impressed by Pulte Homes. One thing that bothered me was the contractor supervisor told me and my wife that he provided money to one of our neighbors for their rental fees while waiting for their house to be finished. We asked for this help for our cost and was turned down. Was this favoritism on Pulte’s part, I don’t know but it seemed that way. ... More

Cheap material are used to build the house with a lot of defects, which took 2 months after closing and not yet completed. The process is a joke with LIES . They will rush you a date to do the walk and rush you a date for closing. My suggestion is that DO NOT TRUST THEM !

This is our first new built home, team delivered the finest quality house and everything on time with attention to detail until the very end. Pulte homes definitely put their customer first while delivering dreams.

If you want the best built home and the relationship with the Pulte staff especially the project manager then you should buy Pulte home. I can’t say enough about the ongoing relationship after I bought my house, with the project manager, he stops by checking if everything is okay? It is very comforting to know Ken is there way after I bought my house, this has been an incredible experience. I recommend Pulte homes for quality and excellent customer service even after you bought the property.

Putle was great to work with on this new build. They were very detailed oriented and willing to work with us on anything we asked about. John is a fantastic construction manager and super knowledgable. I would work with him 10/10 times.

Beautiful community with fabulous neighbors. The sales staff are awesome! Once this community is finished it will be top of the line.

Unfortunately we became disillusioned with Pulte administration. From gaslighting to outright untruths. We felt rushed to pick out materials only to have delays six months later as items had not yet been ordered. We felt that Pulte was doing us a favor by building this house. Also, there was very little flexibility when we wanted to make a change but when Pulte made a change we were just supposed to go along with it.we also had multiple project managers. At times, we had become the problem solvers as the managers didn’t seem to know a next step. When we questioned why something wasn’t completed , we simply got an “I don’t know”. On one occasion we were told a step was delayed because two different tradesmen couldn’t get along on the same site! MANY times we were ghosted with no communication for weeks to emails and/or phone calls. The HOA in place also has demonstrated poor communication by not answering emails/calls for weeks. There’s no annual meeting, nor budget presentations. We tried to meet in person and the issue never answered. At this point, we have one wall without drywall in the basement (we have only been here 7 weeks) because a basement window was not sealed. We had mold on the baseboard and drywall. Obviously at this point we can not recommend Pulte at all as a builder. ... More

It feels like the house was rushed to be built and the quality of the work is not on par with the price paid for the house

HVAC is always having problems. I’ve lived here for a month and it’s been fixed twice.

... but they've tremendous scope to improve on Mortgage and Insurance services.

Lots of options to fit different budgets. Fastest builder in the Columbus area with other builders quoting 10 month build time while Pulte completed in 6 months. Process is fast so need to make decisions quickly and limited ability to change options. Overall happy with our decision to go with Pulte.

After closing on the house during move in, we realized the floors upstairs were not level in several places. The builder sent in people to repair while we were trying to move in. The builder in charge of the repairs has been great in trying to resolve the issues. Ultimately, they waited to work after we left. When we went back after the repairs, the floors still have some irregularities. They say they will continue to level them. What is concerning, is the house should have never passed their inspection in the first place. It’s hard to believe that they never noticed the issues. I realize it’s cookie cutter, but Pulte should do better. There’s obviously not enough supervision with checking the work being done. I was considering building another home in their new development. We had a great experience building in The Retreat at Legacy Isle. We highly recommend them and we are thrilled with our new home!

Starting out very discouraged with our Pulte experience. We had items that needed to be corrected that project manager said would be corrected after closing, which are still pending and he never followed up to complete tasks. Porter Potty was was placed on edge of grass asked field manager about it he said it wasn’t dead and it would come back, it didn’t, customer care said because it is grass it is not covered under warranty even though this is something that should be on the field manager. On day of closing there was debris, nails and broken glass where dumpster was, which showed very little in professionalism to hand off property to us. Customer care has been responsive and very pleasant to speak with , but we are still waiting to fix issues. Pictures are available on request on issues that still exist. ... More

Build quality is not as per standard. The material used is one of the worst. it is available in market with much cheaper ratesAlso, the construction manager never responds after the house is closed. One of the not so good experience.

Love my house and although a good journey, there bumps, unsettling surprises, delays, headaches and things that could have gone and could have been done better.

Brandy and Jennifer really helped make sure everything was just how I wanted it . And did not give up until everything was perfect !

If asked "Would you recommend Pulte to a friend?" my answer would be "No." While many of the individuals I've interacted with while purchasing from Pulte have been helpful and pleasant, the overall process was neither enjoyable nor satisfying. Sales Process: 3/5 Build Process: 2/5 Warranty Process: 4/5 SALES: The sales rep was generally helpful and nice. I did find that it became much harder to get a hold of her AFTER we signed the initial contract. Overall, though, a decent experience. BUILDING: Though when we entered the contract we were told that closing should be able to happen within a couple of weeks. Instead, it was over a month. There was poor communication throughout that process and the opportunities to walk-through and blue tape the home were rushed. One of the major delays involved completely re-framing three windows in the main living area because the original framing was so bowed as to be unsafe. WARRANTY: Thankfully, our warranty rep has been very responsive and helpful. Which is EXCELLENT because there is a LOT on this house that needs warranty work. Almost every room has needed/will need warranty work, as well as the yard – we've had floor tiles replaced, grout refinished, counter enamel repaired, yard re-graded, and door frames adjusted – and that's not mentioning the work that has yet to be submitted: door latches not functioning, exterior doors not sealing, wall-paint flaking, nail-pops (and other settling issues), and on and on the list goes. Again, thankfully our warranty rep has been great to work with. BUT... if they had built the house right the first time through, most of these would not have been necessary and our buying process would have been much smoother.
