Great buying experience, everybody were very helpful and made the whole progress go very smoothly.

Floor not even, still waiting for the parts were promised by the construction manager.

I would not like to share at this time

Good: 1. My home was built on time as promised, 2. The quality of construction was good, 3. The construction Manager and sales team responded promptly. Bad: 1. Limited knowledge of sales reps(Please check the documentation on what you are getting for what you are paying). 2. Worst experience with their Mortgage team(The work is slow as a Sloth and no accountability nor updates as promised). 3. They won't accommodate any changes after you sign the contract, even minor ones. Once you sign, everything mentioned in the contract is set in stone.

The overall experience hasn't been great and I would not see myself recommending Pulte to anyone. We bought an existing home that was in the middle of being finished that another homeowner walked away from. First of all this builders scheduled the celebration walk through. We live out of state so we booked tickets, hotel and a car, then the week prior they said they were closed for a holiday yet they were the ones who booked the walk through date and time. So I spent many days and many phone calls sorting that out. We did our own home inspection and during our celebration walk through, none of the items on our list were fixed, yet our list had already been reviewed with our construction manager and agreed upon to get fixed but nothing was done! It was agreed that the list would get handled, but our close date had to get pushed back, so again more work on our end. Once we finally moved in and again we live out of state, there has been nothing but issues. Toilets not working, AC went out, fuses keep blowing, paint on all the floors, carpets, door handles, multiple things on the list not fixed AND more items that got damaged inbetween the walk through and signing (which now Pulte is saying if its not on the list they won't fix it). The minute you sign on the dotted line they just don't care and make unsung promises that take 5, 10 phone calls and emails to fix. It has been a HUGE nightmare and I am so upset that we bought a new home, especially this builders home, never again. your finance company is worthless

Not gonna lie we've heard a lot of good feedbacks about Pulte Homes that's why we decided to buy our 2nd home with Pulte. We chose a move-in ready. We fell in love the first time we check the house. The design and floor plan are very modern. However, we are kind of disappointed because we've been seeing issues in our house. We know there's no such thing as perfect home but we expect that Pulte is different from other builders and for a half a million dollar house it could have been close to perfect. To be fair their customer service is fast to take action every time we report issues.

Good Design and good location

We had a great new home build experience starting with the Devonshire sales office, construction team thru the title closing at Pulte. The development is stunning with its design layout, designated common areas are beautiful and high level of workmanship. We have only a few minor construction items to be corrected in our new home but overall the construction is of superior quality!

It was a very detailed briefing on every item in the home. The person displayed in depth knowledge and pride in the home that the company built. He identified items that need to fixed or replaced after closing. The team was very enjoyable to work with through the entire process.

Pulte does not pay attention to detail, and obviously doesn't care about their customer anymore and the finished product. We were given the wrong keys at closing and had to use the garage door to enter and exit for five days while they searched for the correct keys. The compressor was undersized and froze up the day before close and was replaced with the almost lowest seer unit allowed by law that they could find on a moment’s notice. It's extremely loud, vibrates and sounds like the fan is going to sheer off when it shuts off. If it had frozen up after close, we'd probably still be waiting for Pulte to replace it unless we replaced it ourselves out of our own pocket. The air vents in one of the secondary bedrooms and the den are obviously undersized and the rooms are hot and uncomfortable in the summer and will probably be cold in the winter. There are no air vents in the half bath or walk in pantry. Instead of a ceiling room to hall return air in the utility room they put through the wall return air grilles above the utility room door like in a manufactured home. The pipe openings on the air handler were not sealed and leaked a large amount of conditioned air into the furnace closet before we stuffed plastic grocery sacks into the openings to try and slow the rate of conditioned air loss. The attic access is in the utility room instead of the garage. Why? I think there are a grand total of four outlets in the garage. One for the tankless that the hot water cuts in and out while you shower unless more than one person is taking a shower, one for an EV, one for a water softener and one on another wall. Why aren't there enough outlets in the garage? The reason they talk up the insulation and mention nothing about the windows when they make their spiel, is because they are so cheap and inefficient. The slab is unlevel, the framing is noticeably warped, walls, cased openings and patio door installations are noticeably out of square or plumb. A handle on one of the patio doors is loose and hanging on by a screw because the bottom one is stripped out. You can clearly see the sheetrock seams in the great room ceiling at night when only the accent ceiling light over the island is on. We have been in the home four weeks and items on the checklist from the final walk through have not been repaired (landscaping is dead, mirror in master bath was supposed to be replaced because the glazing is coming off, a piece of trim in the kitchen was missing and still is. The solid surface countertop in the front and master bath are both chipped. Upon further inspection the glazing is coming off the mirror in the front bathroom as well. The toilet lid in the front bath had a chip on the lid but was replaced with a lid from another build right before closing. The PLASTIC bathtub in the front bathroom has hairline cracks, is scratched up like the vanity tops and the plastic toilet lids and has adhesive on the tub floor from the cheap Corian surround install ground into the nonslip texture. The sweeps on both the front and the door into the garage need to be replaced. This was noted on the final walk through. The screws are missing on the drain cover in the master shower. There's not even one niche in the master shower, the bench is sloped too steeply. The grout throughout the house was not sealed, because Pulte doesn't do that. They installed the absolute cheapest carpet in the bedrooms, bedroom closets and den that we are going to have to replace with tile to match the rest of the house. Our brand-new counter depth fridge door swings into the pantry door unless you hold it with your foot or hand and is already dented because of that bad design. A door on one of the kitchen cabinets was supposed to be replaced because of a very long scratch, but Pulte has failed to do that also. There's a large scratch on one of the secondary bath cabinet doors. The electrical plug for the dishwasher and garbage disposal is installed upside down. One appliance must be unplugged in order to use the other unless you use a pigtail. The gas cooktop wasn't connected and was almost connected incorrectly by a representative of Pulte right before moving in. A top was supposed to be installed on the laundry room cabinet, but that has not been completed. They use an in-wall dryer vent connection that must be and is almost impossible to "form to fit" as per the manufacturer’s instructions. The faucet handles in the front bathroom and master bathroom were not tightened. They came right off. There are some roof tiles that are already buckling and need to be repaired. The water for the drip irrigation was not turned on when we moved in, but we have since rectified that ourselves. If you are buying Pulte, make sure you schedule the first walk through at least one month in advance, a second one no less than two weeks later, and a final one on the day of closing. If you want the items fixed you must stay on them. Pulte is not the builder they used to be before the pandemic. Put the houses up fast, get them sold, and move on to the next build. Pulte started out with a bang but began to fizzle out after our commitment to buy was signed. Our sales representative, Hanna, was excellent and had a firm grip on steering us through the buy/build process step by step, with weekly updates & pictures of the how things were progressing, but then was moved to another Pulte location and we were passed off to others within Pulte at our location. Things went downhill rapidly from there. Several weeks at a time would pass without contact from anyone at Pulte, "just the sound of crickets," before we had to reach out to them for any progress updates. We made several trips to the build site from Virginia to see the actual progress and were given excuses, promises and an attitude when there or had questions and concerns. The week before closing, a walkthrough was conducted with many of the discrepancies still untouched a week later at closing. After closing, another walkthrough was conducted with the Pulte Customer Service representative, of which the discrepancy list is still being worked off 60 days later, with some discrepancies being passed off to the HOA. If we had known how Pulte "really" conducts business, they talk the talk, but they do NOT walk the walk, we would have considered looking elsewhere. Maybe my standards are too high, as I would hope yours would be, but I'm sorry to say, if you choose Pulte, be ready to become just another number in Pulte's vast portfolio, so be ready to get frustrated with how they do business. ... The quality of the finished product is everything we could have hoped for. We love our new home. We love our new home. Only minor issues and most are resolved. The post closing issues are being handled rather quickly. Biggest complaint was not being able to get minor changes. We wanted a couple extra outlets in cleaning closet and storage closet. Not happening! Wanted to hang our Dyson vacuum inside the cleaning closet out of the cold garage. That was mission impossible. I use the under stairs closet for my crafting supplies. Wanted a second light or an outlet for a lamp there (saw it in a model). Again mission impossible. But, overall we love our forever home.

The house floor plan is great, Price with the size of the house is excellent! Great location!

This entire experience has been horrible and I wish I never purchased my home from Pulte. Not only was there delay after delay, The sales person was disappointing, I went through three construction managers and I am fighting to get items fixed. I’m passed from person to person, don’t get correct information, trades don’t show, the wrong trades come, and documentation is not submitted correctly. I do have a very complicated schedule as I travel and the one positive has been that if I had to travel and trades were scheduled, they did reschedule quickly. We have built 6 homes. This one was the least amount of stress and our site manager Cody was great. He was very attentive and responsive. I was extremely pleased with the process. I was however disappointed with some of the quality of items we got in our pretty expensive home. Powder room sink, appliances, carpet. All sub par to what they should have been.

Overall we are mostly satisfied with the house. However, we felt like it was rushed as we approached escrow time. The process does take a long time but laying sod the day our escrow closed wasn't appealing. The wood for the backyard fence needed replacing in some parts. QAQC missed some rotting planks, but the warranty team was quick to repair that. Why couldn't the wood be treated/waterproofed as we have a part of the fence that is bending and nails that no longer play a part- especially if you're dropping over $540K. There are lumps under the carpet and some might even be a screw or nail. There are some nails that are sticking up from the carpet under the stairs that have needed to be hammered down as well. We had a really great experience with the Builders at Pulte. They were prompt and very efficient. During the period of construction they were very prompt in keeping us informed about the entire process. They also helped us a lot in the moving process and were very professional and friendly.

We had an excellent experience due to our Realtor, Angela, and the Construction Manager, Jack. We purchased a home, which was a new build. We did this from 2100 miles away, and meeting with Jack, in person, once. He could not have been more helpful. He responded immediately to any questions or concerns we had. He was always available to take our calls. He worked late with us on the day we arrived, to do our final walk through, so we could close the next day. He made sure everything was as it should be. It was a great experience with Pulte for our new Home. Throughout the process from sales, to construction, mortgage, and closing all the concerned people have provided me with great and complete information which was helpful in making decisions. All are experts in their respect areas from Pulte and helped me in whole of my buying , construction and mortgage and closing process.

Just submitted a list of items that need attention, will know better in a couple of weeks how to rate the build quality.

Good building materials but very poor workmanship or poor contractors. Almost everything are heavily scratch after they finished installing (doors, windows, sink, bathtub, door handle .....). 3 sprinkler unit were buried sideways, some of units buried too low. There are many hairline cracks on the floor before we move in (bedroom, patio, garage). The cracks length from 1 foot to 8 feet and we was told those cracks are hydration cracks but I believe these are the foundation issues and it does come with 10 years foundation warranty, they don't do anything until the cracks 1/4 inch.

I recently had the pleasure of buying a home with Pulte at Rocking K, and I must say that the entire experience, including the loan process with Pulte Mortgage, was absolutely amazing. From the initial stages of model and lot selection to the interior design process and finally witnessing the construction of the home until its completion, I was thoroughly impressed. We had overalll great experience with Pulte who had exceptional personal attention, outstanding communication, and clarity of the building process.
