There are issues that a new house shouldn’t have!

Home buying experience is good but Service response for issues is not as it supposed to be. Since we moved in none of the pending issues are resolved even after 2 months of closing. Didn’t feel like it’s not the correct value for our money. Construction quality can be better as well.

The process to get things corrected after we closed has been a nightmare. It has been determined that the master bathroom shower and floor has to be demolished and redone, tile backsplash in our kitchen has to be ripped out and redone, had to repair a brand new dryer four times, crown molding poorly done in some areas and cabinets weren’t installed correctly and majority of the hardware for the cabinets weren’t installed properly and cabinets have to be replaced. All of these issues should have been caught by the construction site manager prior to our closing, but obviously it wasn’t or I wouldn’t be typing this message. People need to pay attention to detail and monitor people’s work more closely. We feel like we were just another closing and now that we signed in the dotted line we are at the mercy of Pulte. We have built 4 new homes and this is the worst experience we have had. All the way from too many people involved in the mortgage process, to blown deadlines, and the quality is just not there. In the worst heat of the LV summer, the top floor would freeze ice but the HVAC unit that serves the first and second floor is undersized. I wake up every morning to 78 degrees in the master bedroom. Multiple other “unhappy” issues. At this point I would NOT recommend.

Pulte delivered house after 18 months after the date I signed. Still lot of issues in the home. Field manager did very good job to address issues but if he schedule repairs still nobody use to show up to do the work. It is kind of frustrating.

Overall happy. However, some disappointments. Wire in Master not grounded which was very scary, used some cheap materials to do things especially for a homeowner who upgraded most everything.

After reported the issue as part of new home warranty, it took a long time to schedule the service. Hope Pulte Homes take care of customers even after purchasing a house.

It’s a nice house For our situation; Not what we bought, or expected. Many disappointments. Misrepresentation. Slow or no follow ups.

Our salesperson attended to our every need and is the only reason this is not a 1 star review. Our home inspector said the build quality was well below what he expected from a Pulte home. After noting the many build and finish issues that needed addressing a week before closing, Pulte did nothing for the first 4 days until I sent them an email saying that I could not close on the house in its present state. They had to delay closing from the morning to the afternoon in order to get the house to the point where I would take it. I gave up on trying to address the non-deal breaker issues b/c they were dragging their feet on doing anything at all until I threatened not to close. The contractors I hired to remodel my the kitchen and bathroom in my previous house did a much better finish job than the Pulte people did on this house. ... More

The overall home is very nice. The market is high right now so I believe we paid more than what it is worth, but it is comparable to others in the area. The hardest part we have had with this builder is getting things corrected when they aren't right the first time. Getting the crews to come back after you have closed on the house is horrible. It takes a very long time. I would highly recommend if you can to visit your house often before closing and have everything fixed PRIOR.

This company is very irresponsible, I handed over the house with a large water leak, in bathrooms and an invoice of more than USD859 for this problem, the garden grass was handed over dry in a terrible state. I paid for an electrical connection for an electric car and it was not there, the dishwasher did not work, many touch-ups due to failures in doors, walls, the roof was distorted outside the house, the interior doors are raised with a space of at least 2" left girls, poor quality cabinets, worst of all, is that the water is 30 centimeters deep. Automatic sprinkler system does not work. They cut it off due to the water leak, water that I have to pay for, they are not responsible for it ... More

Meh on workmanship, lots of fixing or corrections needed after close. Communication is lacking and they are inflexible throughout the process. Most likely my one and only purchase from Pulte.

Building materials are not that great

From sales to move in, the process was easy to navigate. I appreciate all the assistance and responsiveness from the sales team, title and walk through. All thorough and easy to understand. It has made the overall purchase process easier than most. And responsiveness better than most builders we've purchased from the past.

Our buying experience was less than ideal. The communication was far less than what we thought it should be and the financing with Pulte Mortgage was very frustrating and complex. We ultimately financed through another lender. The construction manager (Nate) was very helpful in giving updates and helping with our request, so that was much appreciated.

The process was overall easy and smooth. We had no major issues and everything was handled accordingly.

This is potentially a pre-emptive review, but since we were prompted by Pulte Homes to submit a review, here's where we are now: - The home is beautiful and we love our lot and community - We have water intrusion on multiple floors of the home: > The living/gathering room windows (plural) are leaking water into the window sill when it rains. Contractor has been out twice to resolve - issue persists. > The basement foundation has a 1/16" crack (extends ~4'), and this is resulting in water in the basement of our brand new home

So far I have nothing negative to say but good things about Pulte Homes. Starting with their people: Steven and Mary. Also, about my realtor, Renee, she is an incredible human being. As per the construction, there are some things I would have had like different, nevertheless, they cannot please everyone. I have only lived in this community for 1 month, therefore, I cannot give much feedback. Its a beautiful community though.

Delivered condo in the time estimated with all my choices & colors I selected.

No major issues and minor were handled as requested

House and neighborhood is awesome - no complains with Pulte - but the HOA management called Charleston Management Company is just the WORST I have ever seen - arrogant, don’t work and don’t approve anything, dont respond and don’t resolve any request - my life is stuck because they just dont care - BEFORE BUYING - make sure its not Charleston Management otherwise DONT buy it ! There are options ! I will work with my neighbors to expel them from our community… find me on facebook if you need more details . Only. Reason i dont give Pulte a 5 stars is because they should have not chose this terrible HOA ... More

Jonah has been instrumental in helping us transition to our new home. I appreciate his prompt responsiveness and professionalism. He’s very friendly and understanding.

Overall we had a good experience with Pulte Homes. The sales process was average but the build process was great. Our Construction Manager Phil did a great job providing us updates weekly and answered all of our questions quickly. That said, the responsiveness after we closed and moved in to issues we didn't during final walkthrough has been slow and at times, frustrating. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this team from Everton Creekside in Peachtree City to friends and family.
