My husband and I were so excited to move into our new-build Pulte home, but the excitement was stolen from us when the week we closed, as the place was a mess. Scratched floors, splattered paint on the floors and countertops, direr windows, missing pieces to blinds, loose siding on the house, and a few others. Pulte cares about their quality, but the contractors they hire do not. We have lived here for a month now, and they are still fixing a few things, but the home is beautiful, exactly what we envisioned, and we look forward to making this our life-long home.

Not happy with finishing of the house

Initial Experience was good but later realized when my tenants moved into the hose , very sloppy inspection done by field manager. Lot of issues in the house which could have avoided with minimal inspection.

Artifical hype, slow or no response

Bad architecture overall, bad location choices hvac and heater in base ment, fridge location in kitchen etc., just to save their construction money, they realize limited lots to create artifical demand and increase price, very limted designer choice and its a lot if every chnage. Make scene every time you request for small changes, after closing, if we find any issues they mention it either too small or does not seems to be issue, we will fix when we have 9 months walk through. Substandard grass which require too much maintenance and bad garden plant choices. Overall not satisfied

Horrible workmanship and issues after issues

I will never buy another Pulte home. From the start of the build to the end we had numerous issues. Only after moving do you truly discover how bad they built this house.

how not to close

I was treated very well to start, but then as time went on that all changed I dont believe what happened to me is the norm but it was horrible. I was treated so badly no respect and lied to I would not suggest to anyone to buy here I am still waiting to have things fixed and finding more things wrong

As a single woman,I was taken advantage of. I feel the people who worked on my home thought or didn’t care that their workmanship was less than poor ! ( I have watched other neighbors demand and get results when a MAN was the buyer! I purchased when the house was in construction stage- studs windows and roof were complete. - I had no idea I would be coming into such a disaster. Caulking on floor, paint on carpet, paint on light switches. Many doors have dings on the bottom- even thought they are in a frame. I will not suggest this builders to any of my family and friends

We brought our first home with pulte. During 2022 we have signed our contract it took over 12 months for the house to finish…Taking more than an year the house came up with very bad finishing no proper cleaning lot of fixes and it’s been 3 months there are still issues when you spend over 500k in Texas it’s a big thing…they reduce lot sizes and they built very quality less houses… Please do some investigation atleast in San Antonio area when your going with pulte.

Build quality was sub par , paid excessive money and response on issues much worse . Driveway and pathway and lawn is taking more than 3 months or even for some neighbors 6 months to compete . While new home buyers now are getting everything on time .

What a joke. This entire process has been 1 fight after another. The construction manager was useless. Any time I had questions or concerns I was dismissed or ignored. Escalating issues did nothing as management did not care, want to understand or acknowledge what I had to say. Pulte quality has gone down hill and they are trading off a reputation.

"Although my overall sales experience with Pulte Homes was positive, I must admit that I encountered some unexpected workmanship issues after closing on my new house. The quality of the construction did not meet my expectations, and I found it disappointing that the reported issues were not addressed in a timely manner. Sloppy work/ poor craftsmanship. It feels and looks very rushed. There are holes in walls that we are finding in random places that were missed during walk through, globs of paint everywhere on the walls even after pointing out and fixing over 50 during walk through, uneven cabinets etc. They also have an awful warranty. Flooring isn't even covered! We have only been in our home 2 months and the floor is already coming up and they are saying it’s not covered under warranty.

Zach is a real class act!!! My first experience working with Zach was the build quality pre-closing orientation as we purchased a quick move-in and I have to say this work is really cut out for him. He is not only knowledgeable but people oriented.

You can tell Zach really loves his job because even after moving in he's more than helpful and goes out of his way. Teresa provides excellent customer service in the sales center. She is extremely responsive around the clock! You can tell she really values her work. The quality of our home is unlike anything we've experienced before. What comes standard in a Pulte home is what other builders consider upgrades. I would do it over and over again :)

I purchased a Pulte home because of their reputation for quality. I also feel like I received a great value for the price paid. For that, service quality was not satisfactory, the buying process was not coordinated and the builder was inflexible to accommodate my requested move in date. The property was listed as "move in ready." Hopefully, they will be responsive when I need warranty items fixed.

Overall I had a fantastic experience! From Ana, my sales agent, to my Design specialist, Steven my construction manager, to Heather and Zach with loans, I was well taken care of throughout the whole process. The builder identified several defects that needed to be corrected. About 6 weeks after the passing, those defects still need to be corrected. Detail siding work had several defects. I am still trying to get them corrected.

Nick-Project Manager - was meticulous and very responsive and did everything in his power to make sure we were satisfied. Nick gets 5 stars on everything. Andrea - Salesperson - was very short and curt in her messages. Always assumed that she was right and rarely admitted fault particularly when she was wrong. We had a very short time frame to find our new home and that came true at Copperleaf with Pulte Homes. While we bought a spec and knew we would not be able to customize completely, because of Pulte's quality and already incredible quality, "out-of-the-box" was 95% of where we wanted to be. closing was done prematurely, drive way and Sod was not ready. Buyer should be advised what to expect after closing. Causing inconvenience. Our closing was on April 5th and as of today JUNE 3rd., we do have Sod on the Ground.
