Edward was a saving grace to us as homeowners. We are so thankful he was our last of 4 projects managers and really pushed to complete our home despite many challenges he faced. He is very conscientious and took time to see us every time we came to Santa Fe. Edward is very customer focused. He always acknowledges emails and texts you send…a very rare but important to us as buyers living out of state during our build. He follows promptly on lists we send him of outstanding items we saw when we visited every 3-4 weeks. Phone calls with questions were returned with answers. We would highly recommend him as a project manager. We definitely are glad Edward navigated us through and saved us during a very challenging build and made our completed home one that we are proud of. We give him an A+!! ... More

Totally recommendable!! excellent customer service from day one to finish.

The communication, the service quality and the final outcome really exceeded my expectations. The overall process was easy and seamless.

Construction manager takes copious notes when you first move I , then they never fix anything. Not one thing had been fixed from the pre-move in or post move-in 30-day period. Nothing. Period.

Great, builder. But I had issues with this sod but the builder put it on a weed killing project

The sales process was fantastic however the workmanship needs improvement as for the price it seems to have rushed work and the quality of trades are not to the standard I would expect for the price of home.

Promises made. Promises not kept

The finishing touches (delivering the home) could have gone another step in helping orient with home systems. Likewise, while we love the overall home, there are finishes (doors, lighting, fixtures, etc,) that could be of a higher quality.

My garaget the drywall isn’t squared off on the bottom , cracked concrete in the garage and called it to code , places where you can’t see aren’t painted

Mike had a concrete sealer applied to my garage floor the beginning of March without notifying me first. During my 3/10 blue tape walk through, the smile was very strong to the point I couldn't be in the garage. The celebration was on 3/23 that I didn't attend but my cousin that was there said it still smelled really strong. I moved in on 4/15. The smell was still very strong to the point that it was in the house and triggering my asthma. I opened a ticket with warranty to have it address. When I asked Mike to stop by, he said he was busy with walks so he couldn't. He never did reach out again. The smell should have been addressed before the celebration because at that point there shouldn't have been a smell. Very disappointing. ... More

Poor quality Very Bad experience with Pulte Home, if you decide to buy the house with Pulte Homes make sure before you close the house everything looks good and function properly and once you close the house no one cares, we are still waiting for the repairs over 2 months since we close the house. Poor Quality There is a lot of glue everywhere, wood part covered with the paint to cover the chips and chunks of concrete in the garage, bad finishings thru out the house, Pulte house also design houses so poorly, Windows are facing straight into to Neighbours house no privacy, We still can't reach out anyone no matter how many times we call or text, they take their sweet time to fix. I even hired cleaning company and paid them $300 to clean glue and some part of bathroom area they couldn't. Pulte builders are rushing to build houses. When my wife and I decided to build a new home, we had lots of excitement and anticipation. Pulte made mention early on of celebration walk just before closing. Unfortunately, that final walk was anything but a celebration. In fact, it became a walk with the building manager to point out a ridiculously high number of details of poor building quality. There were so many details that it became a disheartening experience. I’ve lived in the house for over a month now. The house was supposed to be amazing and it’s mediocre at best. We’re still finding issues from electrical to HVAC to superficial imperfections like paints drips everywhere and missing caulking. Their warranty department leaves so much to be desired and it all comes from the same problem. As interest rates rose and demand for homes dropped, layoffs took place. Two building managers were laid off during the build process. It became obvious that the laborers who actually build the house had little to no supervision leading to a huge number of details that fall way short of expectations. I’m sure warranty administrators were also laid off and those who still have a job are overwhelmed. So like many other companies out there, Pulte put investors and profits so far ahead of having satisfied customers. This review may not ever reach those who can make a difference and nothing may change, but maybe someone will think twice before considering Pulte. I wish I would have. ... More

The house was completed but not fixed all some things which I have to tell them and it took me long time .

We built a Pulte home in 2007 and then just completed another recently(March, 2023) and the quality of work, project management, communication and value have dropped significantly. Pulte has put more focus on profits than the customer experience which is why we would not recommend buying a Pulte home in today's environment.

We appreciated the great service and support provided by Claire and Marcus. They were outstanding and continue to be so. We love our new house and neighborhood.

We absolutely love our home but it feels like a façade. The things we marked during the final blue tape inspection were not completed when we moved in. The blue tape was just removed with no repairs. When we had some of the things repaired, the guys repairing them said it was incomplete. The custom shower was installed incorrectly with the water flowing away from the drain, and after a few months it has yet to be repaired. We have multiple work orders in and have documented everything, nonetheless no one seems to ever come repair the major issues. The Garage door is having issues and the chain is loose causing it to snap and bangs loudly, at this point it’s a safety hazard and we have still had nobody come out to fix it. We were told it was a high priority issue because of safety but still no word on the repair. The whole back door jam needs to be replaced and reset. None of the tile grout was sealed on both downstairs floors and bathrooms including the showers. Again, it’s a beautiful home but so much to be repaired it’s exhausting and there is a warranty but it’s taking longer than it should. ... More

We are so very blessed to have a new beautiful home in Chasewood. The craftsmanship of the home is amazing. The entire experience from the beginning to the completion with Pulte was personable, genuine, and caring. Diane was truly enthusiastic with helping us pick our lot, explain our exterior choices, and beginning our home owning experience. We meet our on site construction managers, Jake and Mike, they always went above and beyond explaining every detail of our build. They provided a step by step explanation on the construction process in great detail. A timeline was provided to us and they did an incredible job keeping every part of this process moving along effortlessly. The communication with us was perfect. When the interior house was built, the design team was great helping us stream line our vision of our new house to come to life. There were so many beautiful choices to choose to put our own touch on our house. When our house was complete and we did our final walk through with Mike, we were speechless. He explained every inch of our house to us, provided us with comfort and confidence that Pulte built us a beautiful new home with quality craftsmanship, and cared about our future in our new home. He explained our warranty in great detail and even though our house was completed, Pulte is still there to provide us help with any issues that may arise in a new house construction. It was true….when we called Mike for a question….he was so responsive with a genuine nature to help us out. We made himself readily available at any time. Mike did an amazing job with our house, but the best part was his personality of true genuine happiness for us. He went above and beyond to make our first home construction build to honestly be perfect. Be cautious about one sided contract. If you delay closing they charge $250 a day. If they delay closing they don’t pay you anything. Delivering a finished home before closing is never in their dictionary, to have buffer for inspection is not a possibility. Pending stuff we’re promised to be finished in a week time after closing, it is now one & half month and people are not even responding. Struggling to connect. Pulte inspection on making sure your specifications are taken care is zero. They give the drawings to sub contractors, if the do their job 100% you are lucky. If you find out your specifications are not there, they take their own sweet time to look and react on it. I have ordered for front load washer and dryer but delivered top load and they say as per the codes it is what I have ordered. The contractor’s language in the itemized list says FL duet, which we understand as front load, contractor confirmed that he has placed an order to replace, now he is saying he can not. I don’t understand where did his order go. Minor upgrades are charged for and not worried to take care of them while constructing. If you don’t notice those upgrades, your money is gone… Not responding to my email even once is the heights of their customer focus business. ... More

I was fortunate to fall upon a move-in ready home in my preferred location. I feel the price was commensurate with market value and Laura was very professional and responsive in the sales process. The floor plan is ideal for my needs but I think the builders rushed to complete and lost quality in the details of the construction. Pulte has a great respiration in my area and I am overall very satisfied with my new home.

Although, was not 100% completed by our close date. We trusted Pulte's Contruction Manager to complete our Punch List within a reasonable period shortly after our close. We are now over 30 days since our close and unfortunately, many of our punch list items remain incomplete or poorly done. Because we are now 30 days past our close date, Pulte's Construction Manager now refuses to respond to our texts and emails regarding the open issues. I suggest the buyers beware and do not close until your home is complete and satisfactory.

While the buying experience was quick, and was given update on progress regularly, the quality of the house was poor, and it is taking forever to get the issues fixed. There were around 20 issues from which include some safety concerns. I am still frustrated following up on half of the pending issues 1.5 months into occupancy. My suggestion to buyers, don't close until all the issues are fixed.

Good deal for the overall homeowner in terms of plot to build construction experience. Not great in terms of pressing communication channels, we had a tough time getting mortgage setup and that was a very stressful and bad experience as we were constantly being asked zillions of unnecessary paperwork which wasn’t really needed to prove intention of mortgage purchase. But overall credits were given towards closing which was much appreciated.
