My home took approximately a year and 1/2 to build. Workmanship was sloppy. The process from start to finish was horrible. Pulte mortgage was also horrible. Their prices are overpriced. Had to switch lenders twice during the process due to the delay. I spent more than budgeted in storage fees, points and appraisal fees. Not a happy camper. The only bright spot of the process was the final construction manager that was assigned to me one month before closing who by the grace of god got me moved with punch list items.

Oven is broken, instead of getting a new replacement, whirlpool is replacing a piece what I think inappropriate because I should get a new oven.

We had an excellent experience from beginning to end. Choosing the home from the many offered was enjoyable. Pulte kept me informed every week during the building process. Evan, the building manager answered all of my questions as the process went on. In the end, we received a beautiful, fantastic home.

Had a great home buying experience facilitated by Salvatore. We were kept updated throughout the construction process with updates from Jack. Build quality was excellent. Closing went smoothly for our first home purchase. Highly recommend Pulte!

The overall build of the house is great. Although there are a few things that need to be repaired but that was to be expected. The overall buying process was a bit tedious at times, to the point that we wanted to walk away. Now that we are in the house, getting issues resolved has been a bit of a task. I am overall pleased with the final product but the little things which could make this an excellent experience have not be dealt with very well.

This is my first experience with Pulte. I have been less than impressed. With this home I upgraded several options and unfortunately many of the upgraded options were executed poorly in the build process. This left a lengthy list of items to complete post closing and severe buyer’s remorse. I have been in my home almost 60 days now and am still having challenges with some of the subcontractors to complete their assigned task correctly. I understand there is a labor shortage so things take time, but there is no excuse for poor craftsmanship. Several of the outstanding items are a result of a trade clearly rushing through the task. This is unacceptable. On their website Pulte frequently mentions “quality”, “higher standards”, “attention to detail” but candidly I did not see this during my build process. During my build process there were items I had to call out to my site mgr (I.e a door created when there wasn’t one selected, a missing transom window, an uninstalled grounding wire from my exterior electrical box, the wrong accent stone placed on the home, etc). This is our third custom built home by Pulte! That says it all!

We took spec home. As it is ready to occupy, we don't have any choice to make any structural changes. Overall experience with Pulte vuolde4 is good but their mortgage is not worthy.

I had multiple issues with my home and they were VERY slow to resolve the issues and the more I look around the house the more poor craftmanship I see

Craftsmanship leaves much to be desired. The Pulte closing team do not communicate with their own project managers or homeowners. Lived here for two months and my cabinets are not finished, missing slider door screen, unable to open windows because all the screens sag, hole in the ceiling, cracks in the stucco, grout needs to be finished, unable to plug in dryer because the drywall was over the outlet, etc. when we brought this to Pultes attention we were told to go through warranty! What?! This isn’t a warranty issue things are missing and never even were completed!

It was relatively quick and easy. All of the issues I have were taken care of quickly. Pulte seems to be a great company to buy a home through.

My entire team from the sales side, Derek, builder side, Brett and mortgage side, Corie & Brianna everyone was attentive, transparent and worked so diligently to ensure this was a positive experience for my family. They all exceeded my expectations and were frequently, responsive and amazing to work with. I would highly recommend Pulte Homes

John was great. Wished he had a little more information to share when I had questions. Wished the builder would anticipate what buyers would want and do it rather it was requested or not. For example, prepare for a sink in the laundry room although it may not be requested. You are putting in plumbing regardless. For the stove, put gas if it is available although you as the builder put in electric. Buyer may come later and want to do gas. Just saying. You put in wiring for ceiling fans it is the same same if you ask me. Just saying.

This is our second Pulte home. Overall it was a good experience, but there are a lot of small things that need to be corrected.

Surround sound ceiling speakers were poorly installed. Front left speaker is out alignment. Also the grills are not flushed against the ceiling (6 to 8" towards the wall while others are 2 feet off the wall) Have not completed moved in yet so there may be other issues at some point

Except for the price and the 4 month delay, happy with overall purchase

Great experience for 1st time buyers. Entire process was smooth and quality of home is great. Whatever promised was delivered with out any surprises. I recommend pulte homes.

I bought because of the salesperson Michael and I was even more pleased with the effort of the customer service manager Rick. The workmanship is excellent. Some of the touch ups could’ve been better. The cleaning crew did a poor job when all was said and done.

The team at Pulte group was customer oriented. Keeping us informed of the progress of building our new home. Their warranty give an extra piece of mind.

Pulte home Every thing is good!

Really not happy with the awful conditions of the front and the back yards of my new build house since we closed in March . We still don’t have any sods in front and any seeds in the back, landscaping never got done for 2 months since we closed. The front yard is still full of mud, trash, black plastic bags, water retainer bag, plastic bottle full of pee, big rocks, gravels and dirts from when the house was being built!! We’ve been told by the construction manager that it will get cleaned and fixed but nothing actually got done!! Being a first time home buyer, I will definitely learn a lot from this bad experience! Won’t do it again! Even the neighbors upset about the situation! Pulte needs to do a better job! ... More

Build took nearly one year longer than projected completion date and the overall product is disappointing. Nice from far away, but close up is unfortunately not the case.

For what we paid…we are shocked at how many problems we have. A punch list is expected, but you’re only as good as your subs. And they are terrible. House was filthy upon moving in…walls/pillars visibly not straight…many windows had scrape marks on the trims…paint all over our wood floors which also had quite a few dings (and this was a very expensive upgrade)…pocket doors scraping the jambs (both of which have visible damage)…many broken roof tiles, etc. The list is too long, and many of these things should have been caught by our super (who we like very much) if he had only spent a few minutes to look. We were told that the cleaning crew (after we complained how dirty it was) they use is terrible by our super. He has told his bosses this, but they continue to use them. And that says a lot… The house is beautiful, and we love the neighborhood…but very disappointed in the quality. ... More

From start to finish… sales associate was amazing! She was absolutely phenomenal and I would not have survived the process without her. Even after closing she was such an asset and worked with us to hold the builders and the trades accountable. The field manager is who I found made the biggest difference in our experience. We started with an amazing person, but halfway through switched to a new person who did not have the skill or ability to manage as many projects as he had. There was no follow through and no accountability for the actual construction of the home. This is the point we got his boss involved and everything changed. She was phenomenal and followed up with us making sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Building a house is definitely stressful and not for the weary, but working with the right people made it much easier and overall, Pulte does put out a good product. My advice… stay involved and on top of things and be the squeaky wheel! They want you to be happy and they do care about their product and reputation so communicate with them and hopefully you have people that jump in to help like we did. ... More

I had a wonder build experience with Pulte in Potomac Shores, VA. Andrew was a great company rep and Robbie provided phenomenal response and support as the project manager throughout the build process. Home was completed on time and had minor craftsmanship corrections at the celebration inspection. Pulte had zero issues with my private inspector's feedback prior to pre-drywall and final walk-through inspections, and I was free to visit the home to check progress throughout the build. Zero regrets on my decision. Greatly enjoying the home.
