We had a quick and easy experience with Pulte. Started the buying process at the end of November with a Pulte SPEC build and any concerns along the way we’re dealt with. Our construction manager switched right before close which couldn’t have worked out better. Although we only worked with her for a short period before close, I have had a wonderful experience with Jessica! She made all of our blue tape items disappear and has been a wonderful resource in the month since we’ve closed. Couldn’t be more thankful that I had a great first time home buying experience.

If you are closing on a Pulte Home, try to ensure all major items are fixed prior to signing. Reported items afterward do not get addressed and you are ignored. It's just rude and disrespectful, this is a very common conversation with other homeowners in the neighborhood. They may have a 30% profit margin for their shareholders, but it comes at the expense of their customers.

Pulte needs to step up their game for quality control on the use of their sub-contractors. It seemed at the tail end of the build they incurred all kinds of inferior quality workmanship and follow-up. Very disappointed. They did their best to fix the issues, but it was a head ache getting there.

Carolyn did a great job keeping us posted on each step and what to expect next. Whitney was very helpful in helping us pick cabinets, tiles, flooring, lights ETC. Derek the construction manager gave weekly updates on the construction progress with pictures.

Overall a good company to buy from. I felt as though our Pulte contractors were doing the best they could but seemed to have too much going on to be quick at handling some of our punch list items post closing. They were always quick to respond to a message or call about something that needed to be fixed or worked on, but the time to get it resolved at the home wasn't always the quickest. The worst quality issues overall were little things that should have been easy to remedy, the paint and caulk. the subfloor on the second level is noisy to walk on it. Constantly creaking to walk around. (I don't think the builders used screws or glue to join the subfloor to the supports) The painters who worked on this home took no time to tape out edges or even repaint walls that had poorly color matched touch ups. Additionally, the windows needed to be caulked better several cracks and seams. I know these things sound trivial, however buying a model property from a reputable home builder makes you think that they would have contractors with better attention to detail. Overall was a good experience purchasing my home. The home is beautiful but like any new home there are always small issues that arise after you move in. The service request line is quick to respond and fix what’s needed. Overall I’m satisfied and don’t have any regrets.

The overall product was properly done. It feels good to live there and Mark is the best, and I will enjoy having him in a project if I have to buy again with Pulte.

My experience from pre closing to current has been stressful and completing home construction has been a struggle. Sales team is fantastic.

The house still has many unfinished issues and we were rushed to close. All along the way we were assured that the issues were to be addressed. Not until after our physical move in have the remaining issues been tended to, thanks to Toney in Customer Care. Construction and the pre closing department need to finish before giving the sign off for closing. Nick, our construction manager, was aware of unfinished issues. He never should have given the go ahead to close. Furthermore, he and the other construction managers seem to have NO oversight. Someone should be overlooking the job - or lack there of - that the construction crew is doing. I am currently trying to reach someone in the corporate office to discuss this further. TY ... More

I did a thing! I bought a home without physically setting eyes on it. My wife saw many homes in Illinois where we lived but there was something different when we entered a Pulte home there. It was well designed with great space. We fell in love but the price was far over our budget. Last December we visited Georgia to see a totally different house which my wife didn’t like, we checked others but no luck. We returned to Illinois and I continued my search and noticed the Pulte Furman and Continental builds. We liked them and then I contacted my realtor to help us check them out. She became our eyes and ears till we closed. On seeing the house for the first time 5 days ago, we were not disappointed. Just a few minor oversights that we expect to be fixed I.e not keeping an air filter in the furnace and a malfunctioning forest in one of the toilets. Overall, we love it here ... More

The home we bought is beautifully finished and was ready on time. Our builder was thorough and my family could not be happier.

When a homeowner pays in excess of 700-800 thousand dollars for their home, he/she should expect a home that is pretty much completed to standards. Rushing to finish homes when homeowners are waiting an average of 14-16 months and then expecting them to close when homes are not even properly cleaned after all the painting and construction, and issues are found everywhere is not something Pulte should be proud of.

Everyone on the team was fantastic from starting the process of picking out the home to going thru construction. Jeff was there every step of the way and provided updates as we needed them.

I would recommend Pulte Homes. I’ve been in my house 3 weeks and of course there are things I hoped to select like hardware, flooring, carpet, etc but it was a new and ready in 2 months which I needed. Make sure you go over every detail though so you know exactly what you are getting and there are no surprises at closing and final walk through like with what happened to me. I’m still happy though.

We have had a wonderful experience with Pulte builders. We had a punch list of a few incidental repairs, no big deal, and they have responded quickly and efficiently with every issue that we have had. The home is built with extreme care and quality of workmanship. I am very proud of my new home!

Marc, the construction Forman has done a wonderful Job as well as the Pulte group.

Jen has not responded to my email, texts, nor calls. I’m still waiting on my refund for hotel and truck expenses. I was not able to move in my house on the closing day.

The buying process was fast and despite hurdles I received good communication. Since moving in I haven't received follow up with the warranty department at all. Even if there is a delay in processing warranty claims having someone respond would be great.

We were forced to close before the property had all the final touches competed and it has been a mess trying to get the builder to hold their contractors accountable for the terrible work. The house still has not been completed.

As a first time home buyer my experience with Pulte homes was great they made things very simple from getting Insurance to getting Mortgage. Interest rates offered by Pulte Mortgage was incomparable with any of other builders out there in market during this tough times.
