Pulte made the buying process very easy..

My wife and I made the decision to build with Pulte while being 1000 miles away in PA. EVERY step of the process was easy and the onsite staff during our build experience was exceptional. From Katie our project Manager to the finance group made this decision one we will NEVER regret. I could only have wished that past experiences with home purchasing could have been this easy....

Easy and hassle free experience

The home itself is a quality build with great attention to detail. Slab, framing and roof are just about perfect. Besides a circuit breaker tripping repeatedly, electrical works flawlessly. AC unit is state of the art and cools perfectly. Our salesperson was wonderful guiding us along every step of the way. We were texted pictures at important milestones and even went to great lengths to suggest extras that we are glad were included. But when it came to the final details inside, things seemed rushed. Doors not fitting correctly and some were swelled from getting wet. A switch in cabinet vendors last minute created scratched doors, misaligned drawers and missing shelves. Perhaps product shortages created this situation but should not have occurred. Our warranty covers these issues and some are expected but many were just poor attention to the final details. Minor repairs seem to take forever but they are being completed as promised. All things considered a very pleasant experience with the important components of our home being a quality build. Would we build with them again? Yes, but we would be more picky about the details inside the home. ... More

Overall I had a fantastic experience! From Ana, my sales agent, to my Design specialist, Steven my construction manager, to Heather and Zach with loans, I was well taken care of throughout the whole process. Although I was not terribly pleases with the craftsmanship of some of the work, nor pleased with the home worksite cleanliness during the construction, what mattered most was that I had a great relationship with my team members mentioned above. My concerns were always addressed, my calls always taken, my questions always answered and my request for follow-up was always met. Steven is who made my year long experience worth the wait. I'm thankful that he was my teammate... I learned much from him and with him. He has a great relationship with his team of contractors and that makes a difference. I received good discount and incentives for purchasing this property. I was not going to be in-town for the final closing. Pulte worked with me to provide options.

The whole process was so smooth!

Prompt response and quick updates about construction timelines, closing process was crystal clear and quick.

Building with Pulte homes was overall a great experience, our project manager Mitchell was great and kept us updated throughout. Since finishing the build, I have submitted a maintenance request for them to come check a leak from the sprinklers they just installed but I never got a reply.. hopefully they will sharpen up in after care, but the overall build process was great.

The building Manager was very thorough with our walk through and made sure everything was done right before my move in date. I was very pleased with his walk through and he covered everything. He took his time and explained everything about the house from furnace filters to the sprinkler system. He also was very clear about the warranty and explained how it works and what I needed to do to get things repaired if needed. I was very pleased with all I learned moving into a new house!

All the issues has been repaired fast and well by Jon, we are very pleased

Carolyn did a great job keeping us posted on each step and what to expect next. Whitney was very helpful in helping us pick cabinets, tiles, flooring, lights ETC. Derek the construction manager gave weekly updates on the construction progress with pictures.

Overall a good company to buy from. I felt as though our Pulte contractors were doing the best they could but seemed to have too much going on to be quick at handling some of our punch list items post closing. They were always quick to respond to a message or call about something that needed to be fixed or worked on, but the time to get it resolved at the home wasn't always the quickest. The worst quality issues overall were little things that should have been easy to remedy, the paint and caulk. the subfloor on the second level is noisy to walk on it. Constantly creaking to walk around. (I don't think the builders used screws or glue to join the subfloor to the supports) The painters who worked on this home took no time to tape out edges or even repaint walls that had poorly color matched touch ups. Additionally, the windows needed to be caulked better several cracks and seams. I know these things sound trivial, however buying a model property from a reputable home builder makes you think that they would have contractors with better attention to detail. Our experience with Pulte was great overall. They were very quick to answer questions and kept us updated throughout the entire process. We kept looking for red flag along the way, but never found any. The workmanship was good. There's a few things here and there that need to be addressed, but overall, everything came out good. We would definitely build with them again.
