The build process was ok, but the responsiveness of Pulte was substandard and there are still a lot of open issues month after closing. Don't recommend Pulte.

I am running behind the Pulte Warranty even after 40days of Home closing for issues fix in my Home. I had issues with 2 Bathrooms, improper ceiling which is making cool air enter into Home at some sections

Sales and construction and home quality all great. Only issue we had was with pulte mortgage and pulte title. Both caused delays and uncertainty when there should not have been. Even caused us to have a higher rate of 7.25% than what the current rate was. It was the worst home buying experience we have ever had in the 5 homes we have bought.

Julie and Nolan were thorough, professional, and understanding.

The project manager and the finance team work with us very closely during the entire process.

Very happy with the quality for the price and particularly for the attentiveness of the entire staff in addressing any issues promptly. Would highly recommend Pulte to anyone based on my experience.

Have many problems in the home since day 1 of moving in, New Dishwasher drain not setup- water clogged, master bedroom door not closing, most of the second floor squeaks all the time (it feels like a used home not a new home), carpets loose, stairs squeaking, poor quality microwave, closet door not closing,

I know there are many different groups involved in building the home, and giving a really bad review may be unfair to some of them, but I just have to do it to bring attention to how Pulte treat you once you completed the transaction. We purchased the hardware through them, and they weren't installed at the time we signed the paperwork. They promised they would initiate the Work Order and the hardware should be installed in two to three weeks. Time went by and we REPEATEDLY emailed, and called them to ask where things stand, and THERE IS NO RESPONSE. We even came to the office and all they could say was someone will contact and we will have to call/write them back, but nothing came. No call back. No email. It seems like they don't know us at all. There was a lady who came to our home a day or two after we purchased and said that she's the coordinator, and we called/emailed her and still nothing came. We have been very patient with them and every time we wrote or called, we were very cordial, respectful, and understanding if there's a material shortage, but the fact that we got no response made us very upset. We are very close to bringing them to the small claim court. P.S.: We talked to some neighbors and they have experienced pretty much the same thing. This is really, really bad on the company. ... I'm unsure how Pulte even got the approval to open another subdivision in Zionsville. Issues with organization/communication--and more importantly not owning up to basic responsibilities and failures. If Pulte continues on this trajectory, they will either be bankrupt or if still around under another name.

Our Home was initially promised to be delivered Q2 of 2022 but finally got closed in Nov 2022. While we understand there could be delays in construction, there was hardly any communication from Pulte on the delay. We had to ask them a status every month and only then we would get a status from the construction manager. They were unapologetic for the delay as though it’s not their problem at all. For every small issue, we were told to look at the 100+ page contract. There were many issues even at closing which Pulte agreed to fix and few of them are still pending after 2 months. I would never purchase another home with Pulte. Disappointed with the quality of the material and overall process. I did not feel the loan process was straightforward and transparent.

We had a great experience with Pulte overall. The Project Manager kept us in the loop and did everything in his power to ensure we were able to close in the time frame we hoped for. In general all of the employees, from sales to construction to the Warranty Department were very polite and professional. Couldn't have asked for more!

Original closing date missed by 3 months, house still not finished when closed (window screens missing, trim paint not finished). Warranty is very slow to fix issues...waiting 2 months for homescreens. Had to pull credit 2 times because original closing date severely missed.

Not a trustworthy company to buy a house. They change the words just like that. Until you sign the contract sales rep will haunt you. Once you sign the contract and pay the 5%, that’s it. Their real colors will come out. For a first time home buyer, this is not the company to choose for. I would say I had the worst experience with Pulte. Initially i thought it’s just me, then when I spoke to my Neighbour’s and friends who bought homes with Pulte, they echoed the same as I did. Bad bad bad experience..that’s all I can say

I was so impressed with Pulte construction quality by seeing my friend's home, but I don't see that level of quality in my home building process. So sorry to say this but I am so honest about it.

Nice home - but amazing how many things we thought should be standard (our Florida buying experience) were upgrades with Pulte. Because of this, we were not able to get the quality of house we previously constructed three years ago in Florida.

We purchased a home in the Norwood Chase neighborhood. It was already designed and all finishes/options were selected before we agreed to purchase. Communication during the build process was below average. Often times being told that we would get a follow up that never happened. At the end of the day. The fit and finish of the home is below industry standards. Trimwork throughout the house has drips and orange peel in the paint, and many of the holes that are left in the trim work that should’ve been wood, putty, and sanded, we’re not. The paint job throughout the house is below standard. As is the drywall finish. The fit and finish is the result of subcontractors that do not care about the quality of the work they are providing. Pulte homes is making an effort to remediate these issues, a great nuisance to our family since we have moved in the home. I strongly encourage Pulte homes to implement a quality assurance program before closing. That is separate from the construction supervisor of the home. This process is outlined in the collateral material provided when buying the home, but in fact, it did not happen in our experience. The construction supervisor is the only one who reviews the quality of the construction, other than the county building inspector. Their focus is to get the house closed to move on. If you buy a Pulte home, invest in a case of blue tape and patience. You will need it. ... More

I had a terrible experience dealing with Pulte. I got the run around for months about a drainage issue in my backyard, it was so bad you couldn’t literally put a canoe in the water. Pulte representatives didn’t want to spend the 2,000 dollars to have French drains put in to fix the issue. Somehow they were able to look at us with a straight face and say there was no issue. The lack of integrity and honesty was nothing I have ever seen before in any buying experience. This is the third home I have built and it was by far the worst experience.It was exhausting to deal with, but after months of back and forth and having multiple professionals come to our lot, they finally gave us a credit to fix it on our own. ... The good - Attentive and cooperative Sales team, decent project and construction managers, excellent team in lending department. The Bad - Really poor quality construction and craftsmanship. Too many issues with the house. Pulte outsources most of the construction to 3rd parties and they do a terrible job. Home inspector caught a lot of serious problems. You will notice cracks, crooked panes, windows, electrical outlets after moving in. Cabinet doors and drawers were not aligned. Cracks on crown moldings, glitchy windows, very poor finishing, uneven surfaces, weird floor cracking sounds, uneven heating through the house etc. Highly overpriced homes for the quality offered. ... They rushed to close and we are finding serious wiring issues

Our experience building a new home with Pulte has been nothing less than outstanding. Melissa, our sales representative, took lots of time explaining the process and helped us select options that would help our house become perfect for us. She also emailed us weekly updates with lots of photos (we were building from out of state). Andrew, our construction supervisor was super responsive to any questions and even saw things on our pre-closing inspection that we missed. That is attention to detail! Kevin, our home warranty representative has been very friendly and responsive to the few concerns we have had.
