There was a roof mistake during the construction but they offered us compensation and fixed the mistake. Good experience overall

I love my house. The work done was very good. The people I worked with were all very professional and pleasant. Only complaint is the scratches on everyone of my pavers. The company won't fix either. But other than that I love it

It is a good built home. The only issues is lack of detail from the contractors. They are moving so fast they don't have the fine fit and finish. Tiles can be raised in shower, door frame trim is not gapped right. Plumber put pipe across walk around from water heater. Little things. But overall good built house. Pulte guys great to deal with.

We are excited to be in the Caliterra subdivision and happy with our Pulte home--they have no control over the increasing interest rates. Our Project Manager was excellent to work with. Thanks

We. Loses escrow on our new home at the end of November 2022. This property was bought as investment property and we immediately listed it for rent. We were fortunate to find a qualified renter who agreed to move into the home at the end of December. Three days after moving in, the half bathroom toilet on the second floor backed up . After further inspection, it appeared when the toilet was flushed on the third level, it stopped up on the lower level. Being it being New Year’s Day , the tenant contacted the emergency number for Pulte. They responded reasonably fast and were at the property the following day. After an inspection, it was noted that the main pipe was installed incorrectly and they had to open up the ceiling in the garage , below the half bath, and correct the piping system. The walls and ceiling were damaged with water and had to be cut out and replaced. Two fans had to run for three days to dry out the interior of the walls. I was OK with the response for Pulte to fix the issue but was very disappointed with their compensation. We reached out to Pulte from day one but they were slow to respond. Buying my home from Pulte was a great experience from start to finish. Both CJ and Justin went above and beyond to answer questions in a very timely manner, take care of issues on a pro-active basis, and advocate for us every step of the way. They were both a pleasure to work with and made the whole experience very positive. The house looks great and is even better than we hoped. Thank you for all your hard work.

Make sure that everything that is identified as needing to be addressed during the final walkthrough is in fact fixed before you close. Otherwise it can be a big hassle to get these items fixed after the fact.

We moved in over two months ago and are still waiting on things to be fixed that were on the celebration walkthrough list. We have to continue to follow up

When you get a contract on a house and the builder says oh we will have it done in 6 months, don't believe them. We walked in our interest rate with the understanding the house would be good and 6 months, 6 months came and went and a house wasn't built and the contract on the house expired. Then we were told by faulty if we wanted the house we would have to do a new contract at an even higher interest rate. This higher interest rate is going to cost us over $100,000 over our 30-year mortgage, because Pulte was unable to get the house built in time. They have offered us incentives, such as taking $10,000 off the closing costs, they had a Lanai built on the back of the house at no cost and they gave us a lot of platitudes but it still doesn't equal the $100,000 that we're going to lose over the life of the loan. Within a month of closing they had sold the loan to another company. Additionally when we went to closing there was still a lot of things that had not been fixed, our project manager gave us a paper saying Pulte owes us repairs, we're still waiting for those repairs 2 months later. I would like to say that our situation is unique, however I have talked to a lot of my neighbors and it seems it is not a unique situation and that it has happened to most of my neighbors. having a home build is a very stressful situation and to not know when it's going to be ready is even more stressful we had to pay out a lot of money because our profile belongings were in storage. Our house was supposed to be done in 6 months it was 13 months before we went to closing. Talking with my neighbors saying thing for them. When you do your walkthrough unless you're a home builder or you would have done this before you don't know what you're looking for, now I find lots of little problems and we have a home warranty that is good for one year so we will see how many more things we're going to have to be calling our warranty specialist on, currently we're about 14 things that have had to be repaired or are still waiting to be repaired. I wish I could say that this was only a problem that Pulte has but in talking to people in our community that has three different builders, everyone seems to be having the same problem. Overall below average to borderline poor customer service. New construction home took almost triple anticipated 6 months time frame to build and when closing date was finally given, we booked a flight since we are out of state residents; but then the house still wasn't ready. We then found out the interior was painted the default color but were never given a choice of one. Also paid thousands extra for a custom hand rail by the stairwell; but last second it was repainted the wrong color and not sanded properly like you could accidentally catch a splinter by touching the rail. Had to hire independent contractor to fix and repaint these items. Around closing time after inspection upon bringing it to the managers attention was simply told that just because the inspector points out something during the inspection does not mean they are legally bound to fix it. Communication was also not great during the construction phase. Have not lived in house yet since we are out of state residents so cannot yet comment on the build quality. ... More

Sloppy over all. Lot of issues found after moving in. Very slow in responding and sometimes no response at all. The defects are not being fixed.

We had a good experience with the construction manager, Joe, and are overall very happy with our home. There were certain details that were missed (e.g. lots of wood shavings and sharp nails sticking out inside kitchen cabinets, drywall wasn't repaired in the garage as promised) and hearing back from the warranty team has been a challenge. They have many projects they're trying to catch up with but we wish they'd prioritize a bit differently.

We closed on the home and received our keys on 11/22/2022, No Pulte representative was at the close, located at the Pulte sales center at Oak Tree community. Only a Notary was present. We were not able to move into the home until 12/03/2022, because Pulte caused a leak to our two -story home when removing "used" washer and dryer on 11/23/22, that where found on our buyer inspection on 11/15/22. This in addition to other matters on our closing punch list have yet to be fully resolved and completed. There are numerous flaws in the construction and finishings in the home in general. We may now have to have the master bathroom shower re-installed correctly amongst other things. Nick was the only positive experience we had during our home purchase. He was very attentive and quick to respond to our new buyer questions. All other departments were very disappointing, especially the finance department. They were not efficient! We were given a lot of generic responses! We didn't feel like Pulte cared about our needs and concerns about purchasing our home. This experience felt like we were on a conveyer belt!

My experience with Pulte has been very positive. From Jennifer E, and Kyle T at the site they have been outstanding and have always been responsive to any of my requests. The community is wonderful to live in and the quality of the product is good. Minimal noise (from construction and daily traffic). I would recommend a Pulte home to everyone!!

The home buying experience was straight forward. We worked with Mary at the Laurel office. She was responsive and kind. Prior to closing and right after, during our walk through, we noticed so many issues. The quality of materials and the workmanship is so beyond poor. All our window and staircase /rail moulding/trims are poorly finished with visible discrepancies (patched up and uneven caulking on most edges). I have to say, there is no area in our new build that you can turn to and not see a very poor unsupervised job done (chipped off wood on cabinets, paint stains on appliances and electric outlets, chipped dry wall from when they installed bathroom mirrors, the worst are the staircases/ rails and windows with uneven patched trims/moulds). They had to re do the rec room floor on the bottom floor after noticing it was not even. I am most upset because this place was advertised as ‘luxury’. This is not luxury work. We are aware that a new home has to settle but these issues have nothing to do with settling, its pulte homes using cheap materials and not supervising their workers and hence a sub par product. We were advised to wait a year for ‘new home settling issues’, that is fine but I feel very insulted that pulte homes would think that buyers do not understand the difference between poor quality and workmanship versus expected new home cracks. Would all my window/staircase moulds be replaced in 1 year or will it be another round of caulking to cover /patch up their terrible work? I am sorry but There is no excuse for such poor work. ... Really disappointed to be honest.

I was told that I would get gutters put in my house for Pulte taking over a year to have my house build, plus water getting into the house and having the insulation replaced because of moisture. How am I expected to write a good review when other houses were started after my house was being built but yet some of those homes were completed first. Not only were those homes completed first but some had a much cleaner appearance at closing than my house. It has just been a very bad experience for me especially when realizing the quality of some of the workmanship, a tub that looks like it’s 10 years old because water was left in it for over three months when it was installed and as a result it was stained. Someone came to remove the stain but now it has no shine to it. How am I supposed to give a good survey with all these problems and headaches. There is more but I’m just frustrated! ... More

Very good experience with the quality of materials, there was significant delays in the finalization but was during covid time

Our purchase, building process and closing were almost seamless. Love our new home.

We were really disappointed in Pulte Homes. There were so many instances of poor craftsmanship and so many instances of work not being completed, such as both front and back doors not painted right, sloppy caulking, sloppy finish work on driveway, etc. It goes on and on. And absolutely no clean up. Obviously, there was a big rush to close on the house with disregard to the finishing touches. We WOULD NOT recommend Pulte homes
