I do not have a door bell. The placement of the downstairs thermostat is behind where your TV is. The light in the kitchen / dining area is no where near where a table should be. Why is the outside spicket in the garage? Also, unless you drive two compact cars, the garage is not a two-car one. It isn’t a bad floor-plan. The master bedroom is nice a big with a function walk-in closet and large master bathroom. Overall, Pulte builds a substandard product with very little attention to detail.

Let me start off with saying that we do love our new home. But the quality is not even close to what we expected for a $470k new home. The Pulte representatives we have spoken to are extremely professional, but the trades they hire do not seem to provide the quality of work I would expect. The finishings are not installed very well and we are already having issues that we are going through Pulty’s warranty process to resolve and we have only been here 2 months. The warranty process seems to take a lot of time base off of what our neighbors have said. And every single one of our neighbors have said they have some issue with their brand new home, so that is extremely concerning for new buyers looking at this builder. The sales process was very easy.

Pleasant staff and great subdivision and view.

We knew going into this process that there would probably be hiccups and delays, it's a nationwide big builder so things always vary by location, but decently satisfied with the Minnesota team. There was a major issue with mold in the framing stage, but it was remediated (would have preferred a more thorough remediation, but they did communicate ok during the process). They did cover the interest rate lock extension due to this delay pushing us past the original timeline. Our house is nice and new, but definitely not the highest quality (cracks, poor seals, drawers a little crooked). Warranty team is responsive to post-closing issues so far. Overall, solid 3/5 stars - you get a decent house, but it's better to manage your expectations going in, it's not going to be perfect. Also stay on top of issues during the build process - go in regularly and bring up issues to make sure they get corrected. ... More

Good team of associate and engineer. I am satisfied with the quick response on any issue and its resolution. Quality of material used is appropriate.

The overall homebuying process went well. The only area that needs improvement would be the financing area. Being a first-time buyer, I expected more communication from Pulte Mortgage, especially being a first-time buyer and with the rising interest rates. Overall, I would recommend Pulte for buyers in the housing market.

Sales consultation was excellent, and the home delivery was done very well. Warranty on the home is a nice plus.

Our Pulte Sales Consultant (Sammy P.), and our Construction Manager (Colton F.), met the highest standard of friendly customer-centered professionalism, and timely responsiveness to inquiries. Our home was delivered within the stated time limit, with the high quality expected of a Pulte home. We have referred all our friends who are looking to purchase a new home to Pulte.

Im having multiple issues with drywall, lighting, and the dryer not being installed properly. No sod has been a nightmare especially with a dog. The construction workers leave trash that blows all over the neighborhood. The blacktop on the driveway is crumbling.

Craig was a super responsive and helpful builder. Through the process he was very respectful and was always willing to go above and beyond to make sure or questions were answered. Even after closing he has helped us with a handful of questions we have had since becoming home owners.

Our warranty manager Dan D was exceptional. His concern that we were satisfied in resolving any issues was beyond our expectations!

Beautiful home and great neighborhood, but overpriced

Pulte team did a great job in helping us to secure our first home in Orlando. Their sales, construction, and finance teams were all very helpful and professional. Overall, we were happy to have chosen the Pulte homes.

Let me start by saying on Pulte Group’s Built to Honor website they brag about how much they take care of veterans and yet I have 30 years of honorable service. My Sales Agent never explained the contract. Never told me once the frame is on the house I get no options. This house was supposed to be my retirement home after 30 years of military service and 4 deployments. Thought I would have options buying new construction and my Sales Agent never explained any options and said that I never came back to her office to go over the contract…well I’m active duty Army and assigned to Hawaii and I was going through my medical retirement process and trying sell house in Virginia and buy house in Georgia. I’m financing a house for almost $500K and Pulte Sales Agent don’t have the common courtesy to email or pickup the phone and provide bare minimum customer service. I thought I was buying a house at a different lot and during the walk thru I told the builder this is not the house I picked because it has a different backyard and here is the picture I took of the backyard and the Sales Agent embarrassed me by saying to me and my mom “something is wrong with y’all memories.” A $500K house and this how a Pulte Sales Agent addressed me. Thought I was getting a 5BD and 4 1/2BA and there is no half BA. Never got the option to get a covered back patio. Also, can someone at Pulte explain to me why I have 4BA and 6 linen closets. I do not have any towel racks or toilet paper holders and Pulte wants me to pay $400 after closing. My Sales Agent never explained to me what comes with a gourmet kitchen. I said I wanted white or brown cabinets and ended up with a gourmet kitchen. Please explain the difference between the white or brown cabinets. Also, I was told by the Sales Agent it’s a $5 earnest money, which I paid the day I looked at the house. She asked how much of a down payment I wanted to pay and I said $20K or $30K and somehow I ended up paying $25K of earnest money I couldn’t get back because I sent and email to the Sales Agent and my loan agent, which she was just as bad as the Sales Agent. As someone who has worked HR for 30 years in the military you don’t hand or email someone paperwork and tell them to sign it and don’t explain it. Plus I tried telling the loan agent I’m still active duty and I don’t qualify for the veterans benefits until 31 JAN 2023 and yet my loan agent tells me she is going to process my loan as if I’m a veteran and the VA said I was disqualified for the exemption regarding the lending fee. Plus the Sales Agent said I can do a pay down option for two years, which I told my loan agent and she never took the time to explain that option to me. My loan agent yelled at me over the phone because I sent and email to the Sales and Loan agent stating I refuse to attend the closing because I nobody takes the time to explain anything and tell me the why on what’s going on. I will admit my Sales agent did call and explained some of the details about the loan, but I never had good feeling and feel like Pulte has taken advantage of me. I’m hurt that I wasted my time with Pulte and I did not get my retirement home. I will NEVER recommend to and military personnel to buy a Pulte home. Plus I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and calling Clark Howell at Channel 2 Action News here in Atlanta and let him know this one veteran Pulte provided poor customer service and I wished I had bought a Ryan’s Home. Ryan homes are better quality and hopefully I can win the lottery so I can payoff this Pulte home I don’t want and move into a better quality home, which is a Ryan home because Ryan explain the options and explain the loan process. ... I recommend a new Pulte buyer gets their own financing. Pulte mortgage was less than satisfactory and made me feel like I couldn’t afford their homes. My sales person, Nick was great. Very responsive and helpful. My builder, Adam was also very good responsive and helpful.

As a family moving to Virginia from out of state, Pulte and their quick move-in home buying process could not have been easier. The responsiveness of everyone on Pulte’s team was fantastic, and compared to our previous home buying experiences with other builders, my husband and I felt like our business was truly valued. Our project manager, Eddie, and his assistant, Noah, were very responsive to any superficial issue we found during our pre closing walkthrough and even spent five hours going through the house with us to make sure everything was perfect. Since our closing, Zach, in Customer Care, has been great at assisting with any follow up we needed. This was the fourth new home my wife and I have had built. By far the best experience. Communications throughout the process was excellent. Every week we received an email from our construction manager with details of the work expected on our home. All the contractors were very nice and polite. Overall it was a stress free experience.

Home was built with reasonable quality that one would expect from a national builder. Pulte has been very responsive addressing minor issues. Tim, the construction supervisor was very helpful during the build process.

Overall, my experience with my recent house purchase from Pulte Constructions was mixed. While the price was budget-friendly and the community seemed promising, there were several design flaws in the house. Specifically, the backyard was not properly graded, resulting in water buildup during rain. Additionally, there was a linen closet space included in the design without plans to actually build one. Additionally, we had an issue with our house's main drain line being clogged, that was identified in the first week of moving. However, the warranty team and construction manager were able to take care of it after closing. The third party who did the pressure test also left the test ball line in the drain. During this year freeze, we also noticed air infiltration in various parts of the house, and we have raised a ticket but have not yet received a resolution from Pulte. On the positive side, our Sales Consultant, Construction Manager, and Warranty Manager were all helpful and responsive. They truly seemed to care about their customers and resolved issues as best as they could. The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, with good schools nearby.
