There are so mony great things I can say about the whole process of building and closing on my new home, but I have to say that I have had issues with it being cold in my lower level that are still not resolved after having been in my corner unit for over 7 weeks. Folks - I really dislike leaving bad feedback but, when I say my lower level is cold, I mean it was 45 degrees on that floor with ice coming out of the wall socket, all around the windows and even on my wall. When I would hold a candle up to the socket and window, it would blow out. I have had a really difficult time getting someone out to help and have done everything I can to mitigate the cold myself, but it hasn't really helped. After talking to several people and making multiple phone calls, someone came out about two weeks ago to do an infrared scan of the area. What they found was significant cold coming from the socket and the window on the side of my corner unit. The gentleman said that someone forgot to put insulation around the socket. He ended up filling it with expandable insulation but said he couldn't do anything about the windows. The IR scan, he said, would be sent off to another team and they would call me in about 1-2 business days. A week later, I heard nothing. I started making phone calls again to try and figure out who was supposed to take care of the issue. I was able to contact someone who said that the socket guy did not let anyone know that the windows needed to be fixed and I would get a call from that team in 1-2 business days. Again, another week later, I heard nothing. I called and left a message saying that I never received a call, my lower level is UNLIVEABLE and living like this is unacceptable (it HAS warmed up to 55 degrees though)! I did receive a call back today and was told someone will be coming to look at it tomorrow. I am HOPING this will resolve it, but based on how it has been going, I'm not very confident. ... More

Mostly good our windows are stained and we haven’t had any response in 2 months now

Rushed into closing when construction manager was not even aware. Very disappointing.

This was our first home buying experience and we worried a lot. But, things changed when we get involved with Pulte Homes Anna. It was nice step by step process and got guidance from various Pulte teams. Even we were out of country for few months, we got prompt updates and progress. Overall, I recommend Pulte for new home buyers.

No one should close and pay for their Pulte home until all the open issues noted during the final walk through the week before the closing have been completed.

There are many spots on the first and second floors where the floors make creaky sounds. Walls are not sound proof (not even semi- sound proof). When a bathroom is used the loud water sound can be heard in the bed rooms. Water and sewer pipes throughout the house make very loud sounds. Sound from laundry room is no exception. Regular talk from the first floor gathering room can be heard in the second floor walk-in closet in the opposite corner of the house.

We had an unusual experience with hurricane Ian coming to our area about a month before our close. We were slightly delayed because of this but the house stood up well and overall we are pleased with the process.

Pulte Homes is a great builder! We are very happy to move in our freshly build house! Every single qf in the house used very useful! I wouldn’t highlight even a single problem during the process!

We are in love with our new Pulte home. The whole process from start to finish was easy to navigate and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with!

The experience leading up to the close out date was outstanding. The experience once we moved in with the electrical issues was not. Our Construction Manager handled the situation professionally and he had the contractors there right away. When someone moves into a new home there should not be circuit breakers tripping because of incorrect wiring. The electrical supervisor should have found these discrepancies before he/she notified the Construction Manger that they were complete. The start-up for the HVAC system also missed the fact the dampers were wired backwards. Your low voltage contractor (CPI) never completed their required tasks by not terminating the Cat 6 cabling jacks nor were we provided a certificate that the Cat 6 cabling met the minimum standards required for the installation and termination of a Cat 6 network. I corrected the wrong terminations and completed the terminations for the WAP connections that were not completed. Other electrical issues I repaired myself. I have just some minor issues to resolve but overall I am happy with coordinating with Pulte for the construction of our home, your sub-contractors however need a little bit of quality control to ensure negative items don't get repeated for other home owners. ... Atleast in my case, i don't think this is the right value for the price i paid. Firstly my house backyard is main road facing and there is no fence provided, typically it should have been provided. Secondly, I just requested for couple of extra bushes to be installed so we don't hear the noise from vehicles and there could be some privacy. My request was denied. Still there are bits and pieces left to fix, it feels sad that giant Pulte constructions is having this trouble fixing the issues requested for. Our building manager Nick was truly amazing to work with. We literally came to the house every day and he put up with us in an extremely nice and kind manner. He answered every question we came up with and was also able to fix every issue that we noticed arise for the build. Highly recommend working with Nick if given the choice

The quality of this Pulte home is exceptional. The time frame exceeded our expectations as the home was completed earlier than estimated. Travis explained everything and went above and beyond to make sure our home was top notch. We would recommend Pulte to anyone.

Overall the experience was good, a solid 4/5. The main reason it isn’t a 5/5 is that the vendors that Pulte uses have been very unreliable with warranty work. A few have completely missed appointments with no notification. This is especially frustrating when I take a day off work in order for this work to be done. Otherwise, the process was great, the customer care person is wonderful as well as the project manager.

The quality of workmanship inside the home is extremely poor. The baseboards and door frames have dents and lines throughout. The paint is splattered and chunky throughout. However, the project manager and support team are great. They are quick to handle issues. We are currently prioritizing what we want to deal with in terms of resolving the cosmetic issues, and what we are willing to live with.

Pay attention to all the details on your final walkthrough.

Where should I begin? At the final walk through of the home, just 3 days before closing, we walked the property for the “final” review. The house was not even close to ready and extremely dusty. The stove’s hood was visibly unaligned with a 1 foot open hole. In the outside of the house they left a big noticeable patch where they have tried to fix the hood (the hole by the hood in the inside of the home, going to the outside of the home). Electrical wires just left out in the open with light switches missing, it almost seems Pulte has no idea of what its doing. Even the light for the main door is missing, not sure who signed in the “inspection” of the home while being built. Even after months in the house and with all the items missed or messed up during the construction, pulte is hard to get a hold off. No one returns my calls and to say the least, this is been a very frustrating experience. I have purchased other new homes and never quite an experience as with pulte. Would NOT recommend. ... More

Love my home and thankful to have it but the experience with pulte has been poor. The house took way longer to build than initially expected and communication on realistic timelines were poor. Now that we are moved in, I can not get anyone from pulte to get back to me on work orders. I moved into my house on November 7th and 2 months later I have a window that still needs to be replaced, a cabinet shelf that is still missing and nobody seems to know when it will arrive, and a cabinet door that needs replaced - once again no idea when it will arrive. There's nails all over my roof and every time it rains I have to make sure I sweep the driveway before pulling in or out of the garage. The workmanship on my cabinets is TERRIBLE. Tons of flaws and scratches and issues with the cabinets that I paid a premium price for to get white - HUGE disappointment. When I submitted work orders on the pulte website I got an email back saying I should hear from someone in 24-48 hours. I had to call after 3 weeks without a response and then wait on hold for 1 hour to be told the repair portal was down and I was supposed to email my issues to this specific email. Well I did that over a week ago and pulte still hasn't even been in contact with me. Overall my house is very nice, but it appears that once pulte gets your money they don't care about anything else from that point on.
