Our family loves our new home and am so happy that we are living in such a great home and community. The overall experience was great. If anything Pulte was very patient with us as we were having some delays with our lender and closing in time. The home is such a modern and amazing home with a great layout. Everything about our home is perfect with the exception of a few minor details. Seems like the floor boards are bit loose when you walk on them because it doesn't feel completely solid while walking on the wood floors. The stairs have nails coming out upwards and at times you will step on them and get poked by them. I wish there were a remedy for it but i was told that it was to keep the carpet on the actual steps. Lastly the sliding doors don't seem to lock smoothly. You sometimes have to shut them a certain way in order to have the door actually lock. Overall still a great home. ... More

Great salesman and sales experience. Not so great response on issues.

We absolutely love our construction supervisor, Carlos. He was so personable and always very understanding. Although, the crews that Pulte decides to hire for drywall, texture, painting and especially Landscaping are crap! Having no construction experience, I feel like I could’ve done a better job! The landscape company that was hired for our neighborhood does the BARE MINIMUM!! They DO NOT roll out the ground before lying down the sod. We did not have any dirt in some areas and even had areas full of mulch under patches of sod. Since the ground wasn’t rolled out, we’re having drainage issues that higher ups and grading companies don’t think are bad enough to do anything about. These areas will cause foundation issues eventually and I refuse to settle for mediocre work and excuses. As far as the drywall and texturing, there are numerous VISIBLE nail holes from securing the dry wall. Instead of fixing it, they just textured and painted it. I will be having these areas fixed before my 1 year mark. There are numerous areas that the painters missed; not just barely missed but huge areas! ... More

Great home builders and generally quick to respond to issues.

The home buying process was painless, from the design to signing the mortgage. Pulte offers lot of designs to fit your needs and are really responsive to your needs. Unfortunately, there were some things that were not done before closing, and now now it seems I cannot get a hold of anyone. Maintenance workers miss scheduled appointment and there was no followup. I am disappointed that these fixes fell through especially because I was reassured things would be taken care of quickly.

The communication between the builders and the buyer was very poor! Simple problems could have been resolved with honest communication. I felt I was deceived many times throughout the building process. My issues were resolved, but only through a long and drawn out process. Very frustrating!

Our home buying experience with Pulte was great. Tiffany the sales representative and Josh the Field Manager really did a great job and was extremely fun to work with. The quality of the workmanship and materials at this point I would have to rate somewhere in the middle. I absolutely love the home however, the paint and drywall in several areas needs to be corrected. In addition, to smaller items. Trustworthiness, again Josh was great and he always completed the task how he said he would. As our primary point of contact he was great to work with! The reason for only 3 stars is because of my interaction with HVAC company that came out to my home to complete our warranty issue. The guy was extremely rude and I asked him to leave. Value for the price we paid. Perhaps this is more of a reflection of the Columbus Ohio housing market. But from an investment perspective, the base price of our home has increased by 30k since Feb. In addition, the 2 appraisals that we had completed in July and August by two different banks ( we found better pricing outside of Pulte Mortgage that they couldn't match) was 40K higher than our purchase price! With our home being the third closing in the new section; and with the majority of closings happening over the next three to four months I would assume our value will increase significantly! Responsiveness to issues. Like any new home you're going to notice items once you actually get into the house. Our home is no exception to this rule. Several items I'm still waiting to get corrected. But I trust that they'll be done soon. The HVAC sub was useless but Pulte Warranty did offer to come out and review the issues that I'm having. Nothing too major but at this price point I expect to have issues remedied fairly quickly. ... More

It would be nice to have more choices for a custom home. We learned that The contractors after market are significantly less

The overall home buying process with Pulte was very professional and seamless. Other than a few craftsmanship issues with my home, I am pretty satisfied with my home buying experience. I would recommend a Pulte home to my family and friends.

Pulte builds a nice home unfortunately some of their finish work leaves alot to be desired.

From the first inspection, my wife criticized the floor's finish, and the response was that it was a lack of cleanliness. We moved in, and it looked the same. My wife tried several products, but nothing worked.

I have heard great things about Pulte which was the reason why I felt comfortable in investing my hard earned money in purchasing. However, now that the purchase is closed trying to get service to my new property—to which I shouldn’t be experiencing some of the issues I am with lack of quality of materials, outlets not working and cracks in doors already is quite disheartening.

Flooding problem that should have been addressed before closing

The homes are not worth the price. They are made of cheap materials.

Nadia and Nate were great. After closing we noticed damage to the front door. Sent an email and work ticket along with photos and have not had any response.

We’ve had a few issues we had a leak under the sink that was no big deal that was fixed right away. We then had our slider on our lanai when I went out and then shut it. It locked because the pin in the handle did not come back out to stop it from locking, we had to hire a locksmith to come that night because we were locked out of the house at $300 which we were never reimbursed for they came and fixed the door and we were told that that does happen sometimes when it was misaligned so they realigned it we had the patchwork done on the wall and repainted Some of the screws started to fall out of our garage door and there was no end on the wires to keep them connected in the sensor of the garage door. I had the sensors fixed and then the door company came out and said that the door must’ve been hit because the first and the third panel Bowed while we’ve had our garage so our car has not been in the garage The guy that came out was extremely rude and arrogant from D&D garage doors and then I never heard back from customer care person. I had to text him to find out what was going on and he said oh the garage door company said it must’ve been hit they’re not gonna cover it. Well you can’t hit the first and third panel unless you got a really special car, especially when they are, 6 feet away from each other. The spots that were bowed we’ve had our sprinkler systems break and not have water on our lawn for a couple weeks. We have an issue where all the connections are for the water system where it is a deep hole I have contacted the HOA and put in a request for that to be fixed because it’s a safety issue I have a child that is blind and she’s falling in there already That still hasn’t been fixed and we’ve been here a month ... Have seen multiple issues like broken cabinets ( most were fixed later), damaged post ( still not fixed properly), all over window framework are not aligned properly as the blinds could not fit as the overall structures in not lined properly.

Have a home inspector take a look and forward recommendations to the building superintendent. Compliments to Travis who has complied with all needed repairs. Substandard kitchen cabinets for homes in the $500K price range.

What a smooth transition for us. Estimated completion date was spot on. Workers were polite. Dustin is totally awesome. Diane so friendly and always got back to us within minutes. Dawn and Caitlin awesome as well. I would highly recommend Pulte to anyone. I love our new home.

The buying experience was exceptional as Pulte bent over backwards for us. Once closed, after the initial week of ownership the response to house issues has been pretty much nonexistent. Although we are truly happy with our home Pulte’s workmanship is only good.

Julie was very easy to work with. The house was completed when we first looked at it, so we didn’t make any choices other than the house. Now that we’ve been in the house for a few weeks, it’s clear that many of the materials and finishes seem cheap compared to what we paid.

Our construction manager Adam was fantastic. It was a pleasure working with him.

The quality of the structure is ok. Would have been better if there were amenities as well. l building quality is ok.

We like our new home overall. The follow through on resolving issues has been slow
