Salesperson was a great help in designing home and materials used. Our general contractor left to move to Georgia about half way through the build. We were assigned a new contractor who took over build. After we moved in to our new home we discovered many finishing defects in home. After making a list of problems and being assured problems would be taken care of a month and a half later none of these problems have been repaired. These are not structural problems but finishing problems. Such as doors that don’t close. Door handles that don’t lock. Cement work stained on walk way. Sloppy and unfinished painting. The people are great to work with the workmanship workers need to pay more attention to detail

Overall it is OK. It would be nice to have options for the choice of colors and option to choose the finish like Eggshell, Semi Gloss etc. instead of just one color for walls and ceiling with FLAT finish.

Okay problems not fixed

I love my home but there have been so many issues come up that have been unaddressed which is frustrating. Dents in a door, scuffs on my cabinets (pointed out a month prior to closing), gouges in my bathtub, horrible looking thresholds, the list goes on and on. By in large it has been crickets! I am so frustrated!

Building process was good. The 30 day warranty is Not Great and disappointing especially for what I paid for it. It’s a who is responsible?!! Or you accepted! This is not right

There were some issues that are still unresolved that needed repairs

Service requests after closing has been terrible. Lack of communication. Don't come on time or answer me. Warranty manager is great at Woodland Hill. Service manager ignores everything and does not show up.

Don’t trust quality of workmanship get it inspected don’t close until everything is fixed and they will make excuses for most problems in the house walls they will look at from 6 feet away to see if they’re straight sliding door glasses. They will look at 9 feet away for scratches and many other problems that may not be resolved.

Love my house, but I noticed that some work could have been better. I feel like the workmanship was rushed, mistakes were made when they could have been avoided.

We loved our sales person and our contractor before we bought was awesome. After we bought, it has been so hard to get anyone to respond: we had issues with broken glass doors, cabinets not installed well. Two months in no one has showed up to fix them. Multiple shelves with damage in the kitchen (the guy who installed them should be fired). Now we have backup of sewage and after frantically calling, very rude plumbing contractor (pulte’s) came. We can’t use our toilets or take showers much less wash clothes or dishes. We spent a fortune for this house and I can tell you builders with half this price have way better quality, workmanship and follow up. ... More

No response on issues reported

Has issues with flooring and lots of noise from neighbors even if they are walking in their own second floor

The contractors that built the home are careless and don’t consider the home is for the future homeowner and not for them. Nails and cigarette butts are strewn on the side of the driveway. Certain parts of the house is incomplete, and this is NOT due to supply issues. Very disappointing.

Waiting to review till all punch list items are taken care of!

I have been waiting 7 weeks for repairs to be completed. Broken cabinets were installed. Sloppy paint work. Drywallers dry walled over 2 WAP outlets, 1 electrical outlet, 1 surround sound outlet and a kitchen recessed light. The doorbell stucco looks bad, because it was broken to find the doorbell. The repair work is sloppy and obvious. The house was full of sawdust, and not clean. The tile was dirty. Grout is breaking on edges. A private inspection revealed we have loose parts on the roof and extra tiles just left behind on the roof. That’s a safety issue. The insulation was substituted with fiberglass. We were told it would be cellulose. Your website mentions cellulose insulation. The insulation was completed in August or September, but we were notified after signing. We were packed and on our way when I received the email. One reason we bought this house is for the borate cellulose insulation. We want pulte to replace the insulation. Pulte didn’t notify us to give us an option to not sign the closing papers. We signed with the information that borate insulation would be installed. Also, why are they repairing broken cabinets on a new house? It’s new! We paid almost 100k over the price of the house down the street. The house next door was reduced by 100k. Pulte told us they were helping us by reducing the price to 739. Other same model homes have more upgrades, and are 645k, 713k, 709k, 724k, We were going to lose our deposit if we didn’t pay 739k. Our shaker cabinets do not have pulls. We have to kneel down to open lower cabinets, so we can open upper drawers. Really? Pulte couldn’t add cabinet pulls? the weekly emailed updates were greatly appreciated since I was moving from out of town. quality of deliverables, meh. This being my first new home purchase, I had expectations of quality work. A lack of care/quality was evident when I moved in.

We bought a house with Pulte, and we had 2 separate field managers, initially, there was an error in the construction of the house, the height of one of the rooms was not at the designated height, it was caught later on and work had advanced so the room was not fixed, it was left as is, the quality of work inside is not the best, in the ceiling the where two sheets of sheetrock adjoin its easy to tell because the ceiling dips down, it is easily seen throughout the whole house, the paint is the lowest quality, we touch the wall and they are immediately stained, there were several issues that were brought up before closing and 2.5 months after closing we are still waiting for them to be addressed. the sodding of the yard in the back was done in a sloppy manner, there are gaps between sodding lines which will need to be filled in to prevent an uneven lawn. ... Buying the house and the construction period was great. The people I worked with (Jake and Charlee) were very responsive and checked in after closing. The after purchase team is the opposite. The emergency line take messages and has a stated 3 day response time.

We are about to send in a punch list for outstanding items but quality of work is very poor as a lot off things were rushed

Overall Construction Quality is great. Quality of clean up of finish product is not good. The floor of my shower was stained with rust and heavy duty construction caulking that was not attended to and has been impossible to remove. Same kind of stain 6" x 2" on one of my wood flooring in a main area of my dining area. I was assured that it was no big deal and could be removed. I had electrical issues " tripping breakers" to my refrigerator that were repaired 10 days after moving in. I'm still having irrigation issues "leaking water and sink hole " that have been repaired once already still on going. Still waiting for other repair. The total quality of the workmanship and quality assurance were not up to standards. As soon as we moved in we started experiencing several problems. Another big problem is that we moved in to our brand new home almost two months ago, and until now, we still don’t have an oven/microwave combo. If you ask my personal opinion, this is unsatisfactory.

Workmanship was sub par for a superior home. Purchased a wooded lot and now the lots next to me were cleared and was unaware this would happen. Prior to buying, this was not the case

Not happy with the quality issues with plumbing and electrical. I feel for the price I paid I should enjoy my new house with no issues from the start.

The sales rep was 100% helpful and had great insight on all the details about the house. There was several missed steps that's still not addressed until today November 3rd 2021. We still need our drywall fixed in the basement due to the fact that the shut off vile was drywalled in. And the plumbing guys cut an opening atop of the ceiling that needs fixed. Also we're still waiting on the drywall guys to bring a piece of the part to cover the vent in the non finished part of the basement. We have doors that still needs sanded down and smooth out at the bottom of the doors. There's also doors splitting at the bottom of the doors along with our farm sink that's chipping.
