Apparently, there were issues not under the builder's control, such as damaged bathroom counters, that needed to be replaced (manufacturer's schedule), as well as several painting issues, shower finishes, etc. We are not complaining about the finishing, since the Project Manager would take care of those right away, but we feel Pulte should have pushed the closing to the right maybe a week or two, instead of closing on the original date, since it was clear the property was not ready for move in; and there were so many details pending on the property. House and neighborhood is awesome - no complains with Pulte - but the HOA management called Charleston Management Company is just the WORST I have ever seen - arrogant, don’t work and don’t approve anything, dont respond and don’t resolve any request - my life is stuck because they just dont care - BEFORE BUYING - make sure its not Charleston Management otherwise DONT buy it ! Good: 1. My home was built on time as promised, 2. The quality of construction was good, 3. The construction Manager and sales team responded promptly. Bad: 1. Limited knowledge of sales reps(Please check the documentation on what you are getting for what you are paying). 2. Worst experience with their Mortgage team(The work is slow as a Sloth and no accountability nor updates as promised). 3. They won't accommodate any changes after you sign the contract, even minor ones. Once you sign, everything mentioned in the contract is set in stone.

LaShay was wonderful. Upon meeting her, she was very easy to talk to and explained everything. Tyler checked on us after we moved in and everything was good except for a few minor issues. I brought those issues up to him and they were scheduled for repair. Repair guys showed up on scheduled date and fixed issues. The longer we live here, the more "imperfections" we see in the small details. You can tell they rush through most of the build, but it's a decent new house.

Purchased in late May. Closed late June. All blue tape issues were resolved. House is well built and looks amazing.

Had a few bumps along the way but we are very happy with the final product. The homes finishes are far better than the average builder. Lots of thoughtful products included so you don’t have to add them later.

Very responsive to issues and requests. Takes the time to explain what is going on with the building process. Does his best to make things right.

I love the construction and process is very smooth

Overall we are pleased with our new home from Pulte, We still have some fairly minor unresolved issues but Pulte is working through them. It seems that labor shortages have caused some of the delays and that may be beyond their control. Pulte's comprehensive warranty does give us confidence that everything will be handled to our satisfaction.

I like the quality of the workmanship.

I was very pleased with our sales and project managers’ communication throughout the process. They were responsive and quick to help with any question or issue that came up. They also kept us in the loop if there were any milestones or changes. Loved working with them!

The amount paid for the house is compatible with the quality of the materials, location and community. We are satisfied with the house and support of team at Pulte Homes, despite the delay in solving some problems we had when we moved to the new house. Evan is very helpful.

The construction manager was very responsive to problems that arose during the final phase of construction.

From sales to closing, we have had a positive experience

Overall we are very happy with our new Pulte home. From the start the Sales rep, Lindsey, was a joy to work with. She always provided good information and was responsive to emails and requests. Even after her part was done with, she still kept in contact and made sure things any concerns were addressed. The building process also went pretty smoothly. Not being in the construction business, it was hard to assess the timeframe on the progress. We received regular updates but that didn't tell me if we were 2 days, 2 weeks or 2 months from completion. I'd recommend including an estimated duration for the next steps in each communication to the homeowner. I understand that can change but at least give a range. Also the time to meet with the construction team on walkthroughs was pretty limited. It always had to be M-F from 8-4. That meant taking time off work in order to meet. There should be some options for weekend meetings too. The loan closing process was fairly easy. It was just far from the location of the home. There should be options to meet for closing that are closer to the new home location. After closing, there are have been a few follow ups needed with Pulte. My experience with the team is that after closing there is a lot of finger pointing at another party being responsible. The finger pointing to another party is done without anyone even coming over to look at the issue. Pulte is still on the property working on other homes. We could have saved weeks of trading emails having and service people come out who said it's not their issue, if the onsite Pulte team had made the first effort to stop by the home and look at the issue. Please with most of the workmanship. When we had minor issues within our first month, response was swift. We are very please with our new Pulte home.

Overall my experience with Pulte Homes was very good. My first construction manager was dismissive of issues I brought to him but he left and was replaced by John who was amazing! Jonna in the sales office was wonderful and so sweet to work with. I am loving my home!

Construction Manager was great! He kept me abreast of the progress of my home! Quality of construction and overall work was great! Had some difficult time dealing with Pulte Loan process group! But at the end it all worked out!

The design and style of Pulte Homes, location and the neighborhood layout are what lead to our decision to purchase a Pulte home. We are very happy with our home overall. That said, to be honest there are some small quality issues, which the team is quick and responsive to resolve, but they do exist. At the end, there was some rushing and it resulted in floors and paint splatters not being fully cleaned up and some other small blemishes like excess grout in the master shower, etc. I would highly recommend Pulte, they are great to work with.

I am not sure if the correct title is site manager, but he seems to be the one everyone asks questions of at the site. That one person cannot be everywhere and counts on those who work at the site to do their best. Some of the people who work on the homes are very sloppy, I.e., touch up paint dropped on the floor, cleaning was marginal and legal firm's notification of closing delay done on day of closing was disappointing. Do we like the house - yes. Are we glad we bought - yes.

The PM in charge of my house construction was great. He was always keeping me informed, on schedule, and when an issue happened, he has been always taking care of it, immediately. The only thing I miss is the option of being able to make changes to the house, like the flooring, along the way.
