Dustin, Rylan, Beau and The Best Stephanie, were great during the entire process

After we moved into the condo, we have experienced 1. two gas leaks 2. window water leaks 3. Shower sink leaks 4. missing part for the dish washer - customer care manager said he would give us the part but never did. 5. multiple dents in the garage floor - customer care said it's not a warrantable item. 6. hard to remove window stain - had to dissemble the window ourselves and clean 7. touch up paints so bad we will have to re-paint multiple walls 8. charge us an item on the contract($200) which is never done. Opened a work order more than 1 month ago, still no one has contacted us to schedule the fix. Overall experience with Pulte is pretty bad. Quality of product very poor. Sadly with a spec home you don’t get a choice of products. The products used in the home are amongst the most cheaply produced (i.e kitchen cabinets, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures etc.)

This is mine third time buying a home and by far was the worst experience as far as quality of work

I will start by saying our Pulte sales and selection process was awesome and I would have given that 4 or 5 stars. We were well informed throughout, everything with construction stayed on track, and we were able to move in a month ahead of when we expected. I really want to love this house. By all appearances it is beautiful. But we've had problems with the "bones" of it that make us question the quality. The responsiveness to our concerns is not exactly stellar. We try to be understanding that all new homes have kinks and availability of help is a challenge. But these frustrations really did take away from the excitement and instead made our first 30 days stressful as we wondered what else would happen. The entire process was rushed from picking a homesite (sketchy) to picking which floor plan. Then we were rushed to close with things that were not completed to my standards.

Laura and Jeff are easily approachable and kept us informed from day 1 till our move in. Jeff scheduled regular video calls and kept us up-to-date with the status of construction. He completed the home on time and within schedule which helped us tremendously as we were moving from out of state and selling our home there. They did an excellent job and the work was done in a timely and professional manner. We felt welcomed in our new home and all credit goes to Jeff and Laura. Thank you for making our house a home.

Our buying experience stsrted with Bobbie. Bobbie was very proficient at her job . She had good knowledge amd helped us a lot. Nathan has been very helpful . He tried has been his best to address/ fix our concern

Middle-of-the-road builder suddenly finding themselves building $1m+ homes. Nice people, but really out of their league. It's unclear whether the company even really wants to be selling houses this expensive. It's clearly a struggle for them internally.

The home we purchased is beautiful and with great quality. During the home building process, we got updates and outstanding services from building supervisor, Ivan. It took a little longer than expected to get the home built. But we are satisfied overall.

We were very excited to be building our first home. As we love our house the journey to get the project done wasn’t t as exciting. The biggest area we felt needed more attention was communication. We were told we would have weekly emails and updates and that never took place. We took it upon ourselves to reach out for updates or answers. We then just made it a point it drive to the house 2 times a week to see what was taking place ourselves. As with any projects we knew problems would happen but for what ever reason when it came to solving as buyers we weren’t part of any of the decision making, some of which made changes to our layout. Now that we’ve lived in our new house for close to two months we are settling in and are happy with the finished product. Pulte completed some of the punch list items and a few are outstanding, however we are optimistic they will be completed. After a two year search of new and existing homes we found Trillium Farm. The home designs and proximity to Blackwell Forest Preserve were the main selling features for us, Going into the purchase we had read other reviews so we had a sense of what to expect and this was helpful information. As others mentioned, Pulte rushes you through the various phases but is slow in other phases. Our contract signing day was close to the end of the day near the end of August 2021. On that day we had to select all the options and the exterior color scheme or our place in line would go to someone else. It felt incredibly rushed considering the size of the purchase we were about to commit to. Pulte has pre-set color packages. It would have been helpful if they had generic exterior color renderings to see what the combination of finishes look like if they expected us to make such a quick decision. The design studio experience could also be improved. Pulte emails out an electronic design book with small images of the available selections a month in advance of the appointment. Pulte could provide some aids to prospective buyers narrow down selections in advance. Links to manufacturer websites could help. Also, an opportunity to visit the design center on a weekend in advance just to look around and not be pressured by a salesperson would have made the selection day (time constrained) 3-hour design experience so much easier. Once we were in the construction phase, we did not receive the regular communication promised by Pulte. Since we lived in the area, we started making weekly visits to check on the progress directly, and this gave us some peace of mind that work was progressing. The completion deadline shifted several times. We were trying to time the sale of our existing house with the completion of the new one. This is where things became very expensive because we trusted their “firm date”. Instead, we had to rent back our house for a month, then move to a hotel for three weeks, put all of our belongings in storage and compensate a moving company for two moves. ... More

Initial the process was slow primarily due to supply chain issues. But then the problem was with the construction manager never meeting deadlines because too many houses were being built in parallel. Thanks to Josh, a supervisor, he stepped up, made all necessary corrections, and reduced more delays. The overall delay was of 3 months. So, it is important having a contingency.

Dear Pulte sales team and construction managers, Your unwillingness to honor your contractual obligations made our 11 month building experience almost unbearable, our daily struggle to compel you to build a quality home; without end! Not only did you act in bad faith throughout the lengthy construction process, but (on four separate occasions) scheduled our home to close with unresolved structural defects, no built-in appliances, or the required Certificate of Occupancy. We will not soon forget how we were deceived, ignored and disrespected. No new home is worth the indignities we experienced. ... More

Amazing overall experience. Love the home and Jeff has been a great construction manager! Laura is an amazing sale rep! The overall team is GREAT!!

Great team that cares about the clients

1. Closing date extended 7 months past agreed upon completion date. "Quality Build" process failed to identify framing, plumbing, and electrical errors. Missed framing of upgrade option for tray ceiling in gathering room, dryer vent located incorrectly due to plumbing line interference. 2. Home had punch items identified at celebration walk, but 6 weeks later remain incomplete. Including missing light fixtures, incomplete exterior paint, damaged cabinets, missing tile grout work, gaps in window caulk, appliances installed incorrectly, damaged vent hood, damaged water heater, missing bathroom hardware, missing trim on fireplace built in shelving, drywall repairs incomplete. 3. Doors are not hung plum and square with daylight gaps and missing hardware including a temporary exit/entry door with missing floor sweep and deadbolt prep not allowing door to lock. 4. AC appears to be undersized or poor airflow for square footage thus running 3-4 degrees above thermostat on 2nd level. 5. "Final Clean" completed but paint spills remained on tile floors, saw dust inside of drawers/cabinets from hardware installations, tile grout stuck to cabinet trim, front porch with masonry cement splattered on walkways. After paying 500k for my home. I feel the home is not that great quality especially the doors they are so poor in quality.

I appreciate the process of buying and building with Pulte. From beginning to end Nicolas (my sales rep) and Alex (my field rep) were awesome to work with. They explained the steps and walk beside me as I endure the long and tedious process of becoming a homeowner. Pulte is and was amazing!

Kayla was fantastic to work with throughout the process. We absolutely love our house and community. Overall we have been very happy although there are some details that it feels like the builders could have been more careful with. Overall though we couldn’t be happier!

The one year process was very long due but I understood due to inflation. However we got our keys and the foremen guys Tracey and the trainer were pushing us to sign that they took care of things that weren't complete. Tracey brought me the wrong keys to my home, I did not feel comfortable I was scared ppl still had access to my home. I move in and since walk through I felt it was extremely hot downstairs but Tracey and the trainer said "oh it's fine blah blah blah" and turned out the day we move in I noticed the air was definitely not working downstairs. How do "experienced men" not know if an a/c is working on not when I know nothing about construction and know when something is obviously not working. They made me sign the documents with lots of half butt things done. Broken cabinets, disgusting tiles, broken vent fan in the bathroom, cracked ceiling, all my doors are all ruined due to these careless workers painting the doors and closing them now the paint is falling off and it made my doors look all ugly. It is embarrassing to show my home to friends and family with a bad job done. Now let's talk about the person we have to go to about reporting things, she is calling me crazy and making me feel like I am crazy when we waited a whole year for this home and above all We paid thousands of dollars for a home that is supposed to be"new". ... Finish work on house is sub par. Grout and paint are already cracking/peeling or non-existent in some places and we have only been in the house a month.

My experience with Pulte Homes was ok. Lot of stuff need to be corrected in the home
