Overall a very positive experience!

still we are waiting for fix backyard door and backyard groung not fixed well (not safe for kids)so i want that fix it as soon as possible

This experience has been absolutely terrible. The day that we closed on our house there was trash all over the front yard and brought the issue up to our project manager. The issue was never fixed and on top of that the walk through of the house before close, the house was not even cleaned. Drywall dust, paint splatters and trash was all through out the house. Our close date was pushed 3 different times and when we talked with the pulte agent they promised a ver specific close date. This date was critical for our family because I was getting out of the military and we needed to have an address established to adopt a little boy. The finish work inside the house is absolutely horrible, and being in construction management, literally the worst drywall finishing I have ever seen. There were lights in the house wired wrong and wouldn’t work, the drying machine outlet kept tripping itself, the fan in the bathroom didn’t work, brick veneer was falling off the front of the house, bathroom faucet was constantly leaking, shower pan had a hole in it, broken 2x4 holding up the roof, and much more. Colton our construction manager was a pleasure to work with and he was always prompt when we have questions for him. Chad was also very helpful during the buying phase and would I recommend anyone to Pulte.

Our experience was smooth with pulte. they helped walk you through every step of the way.

We enjoyed working with Pulte as they built our home. They were very responsive at the beginning, as we had one sales person for our community of ~40 homes. However, our sales person ended up leaving Pulte and there was a decent gap where questions were hard to get answered due to this. Otherwise the build process was actually very smooth and our house closed on time. We did have a list of items that still needed to be completed post-close. I highly recommend getting these done before you close on your home. It seemed like once we closed, the list of items to be completed were put on the backburner as they focused on other homes that weren't complete yet. We are still waiting on some items to be completed over a month after our closing (which is why I rated responsiveness a 3). My experience in getting this home built has been excellent. Patrick G, who was the field manager was unbelievable! He was very professional, thorough and responsive. He really answered all the question I had related and not related to the house.

Our building manager was awesome. He addressed concerns in a timely manner.

Nice experience working with Pulte

The Pulte sales team (Dale) and Construction Manager (Wes) were both superb. Responsive and professional, with excellent communication. We worked together as a team to create a wonderful new home.

The construction experience was very good. However the closing became an issue 14 hours before actual due to Alyssa not being current with paper work. Then at closing she left our IDs in the copy machine and we had to drive an hour back to retrieve them.

Expected a little higher quality of house and build. The buying process was smooth.

I am so happy to have had my first home purchase with Pulte! Jason and the entire safe were amazing. Jason was the absolute best and the most patient. He answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable. Feeling really grateful and am so excited I made this decision.

Worse buying experience. Closed on our contract over a year ago, our house was one of the last one to get done in our neighborhood. For many months we were told a different estimate completion date that was moved every time we didn’t meet it. Communication was poor, finally when we had what I thought it was a set date and had everything ready with the lender they missed it again making us lose a very good interest rate. There’s no accountability, people don’t answer calls, or respond to emails. Finally, after we were scheduled for closing, things started to get rushed. Lots of items missing, poor workmanship. Tons of items were left done improperly, paint job was poor, our quartz is already chipping, tile has cracks, stains all over the tile from the messy job from painting, staples were visibly poking on our stairs carpet, I could go on and on. This is not the first time we build a brand new house and NO this is not how the experience should be, and don’t blame it on COVID. Love our home. Construction team was great.

We found the building experience with Pulte to exceed our expectations. The floor plan fit our family needs perfectly. Our project began on time and ended early, with minimal delays along the way even with supply chain issues. Projects managers communicated regularly with important details handled. We highly recommend Pulte Homes.

Building a new home in SW Florida in 2021-22 was a challenge to say the least. The housing market was overheated, building supply costs were overinflated and labor was in short supply. I was about to give up on our dream to build in Florida when I discovered the Pulte community in Babcock Ranch where I was able to build a house to my specifications on a lot I desired and all I had to do was agree on the price. Although the price I paid was high it still provided a great value for the money compared to the other builders and communities in SWFL. If it wasn't for Pulte I would still be living in Texas. Throughout the process everyone from the Pulte team was very helpful and friendly - sales, design, construction, closing and warranty. Being 1500 miles away in DFW I was concerned about my inability to monitor the construction process and enjoy the experience of watching our new home go up. Tanner, Blake and Steven kept me up to date on the building process through bi-weekly and adhoc conference calls and provided pictures of the progress along the way. Blake and Steven were honest about the market conditions and the challenges they faced with completing construction within our original window. But I feel they never stopped working for me to meet their commitments. We have been in our new home for 45 days now and we absolutely love it. As with every construction project there are going to be warranty items that need to be addressed. Dan is our customer care manager and he has done a great job of knocking out our punch list and getting contractors in to compete the required actions. Dan's communication and responsiveness throughout the warranty phase has been stellar. I have no regrets with our decision to move to Babcock Ranch and build my Pulte home. Although there have been some challenges along the way, I am very satisfied with my Pulte experience. ... More

This has been the worst experience that I have had with any builder. The site manager is overwork and I feel for him and his upper management team don’t care they just want the house close with a lot of open issues that are not done. A lot of people have open issues in my development that are still open and it’s taking them for ever to get it fix.

This is my first home and I’m thankful to be a part of the journey where I can see my home come together. Very thankful for having caring people build my home.

First off, I understand supply chain issues and have considered that in my review. Our main issue was communication between sales team, project manager, and us. I feel like a lot of things that were caught would not have been caught if we hadn't stopped by the house so much. Many times we knew more about the build than the Pulte team did. A lot of their sub contractors are sub-par after hearing all about the Pulte standards that they have to meet. The AV company they use is a joke and leaves you a mess of wires after charging you over $2,000. My turf was just thrown down with some spots having 2-3" gaps between sod pieces. They didn't level the ground before putting the sod down so when I mow it's like going off-road. I think our last project manager did the best he could with what he was given and seemed to have too much on his plate for one person to properly manage. ... More

Overall an average experience. Pulte Finance was the worst. Chose not to use them at all.

Paint is of poor quality and very thin. Finish work is lazy and lacks detail required of finish work, trim is done with 45s in some places and just pressed against each other in others, house was super dirty when we got keys, the ac filters were so clogged it was making a whistling sound because the air was going around the filter. Counter top was cracked they tried to say it was a fissure and then changed the definition through out to fit their benefit. The house was lazily went through with touch up paint that ended up on cabinets and other places that it shouldn’t been on. A substance on our sink that can’t get off, a black spot on our glass that won’t come out. I unpleased by the lack of attention to details through out. ... More

It's a great house. Our family like very much.

I bought home with Pulte. During construction process, every step in the construction process is delayed with many issues. Construction team is poorly responsive on the issues. They postponed the closing date 3times, and delivered the home in 1 year. Only good thing is Sales team and Warranty is is good and very responsive to issues
