Good and building process is good

I was extremely disappointed in the workmanship of the house, I question why there is clearly NOT a final checklist that someone reviews before a part of the house is ready. The garage floor is scratched all over and has holes in the cement, holes in the wall, the wrong paint on parts of the wall, glue all over the frosted windows, screws not screwed into the wall in the closet, chipped shower glass door, they never created the shower niche in the shower, and when i moved in the rug all over the stairs was dirty. Pulte Homes , Project manager Joe goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect before getting into your dream home. He was very attentive and very knowledgeable to answer all questions even after moving in. He made me and my family feel like family.

The good: The warranty team led by John and the last construction manager Mauricio (our construction manager changed 4 times) are good and responsible people. The bad: Almost everything else. Cheap material, poor build quality, irresponsible construction site maintenance. Pulte seemed to have hired some of the most irresponsible contractors, and used the lowest quality material for items like windows, gates, trim pieces, or anything that has no upgrade option. Attention to detail is non-existent. As homeowners, both my family and some neighbors I talked with can clearly feel that Pulte does not care about the living standard of home buyers. I find my self very saddened to even have to write this, however this build is one of three for my family and by far the worse experience I’ve had with Pulte Builders. First it 14 months to build and close but that’s a story for a later date that I’m willing to share when or if asked. Now that we’ve been in the home for two months which we can’t use the bathtub, the window blinds don’t operate properly, closet doors slam when used, the floors won’t come clean no matter what, they continue to look very strange. A eight foot office door will not latch. The list continues. My main concern is the employee at the warranty center are very rude and work against us the homeowner. In the past I had no problem giving Pulte very high marks as a builder however that has changed. I just don’t understand how or why the service after the sale has failed. At this very difficult time I wrap my head around what’s happened to a company like Pulte. ... More

Great home and very pleased

Some of the products are not of high quality, such as the paint and hardwood floors. There are some slight dents in the cabinets as well. The ComEd service cannot be switched to my account, and I have to track it with a Comed representative for days to get it resolved. Normally, the builder should talk to Comed first to provide all the meter details and everything else setup before I call them for my account activation

From start to finish the team was awesome and we love the house

The employees are absolutely great! The whole buying experience was a pleasure.

Overall a very average experience especially after the contract was signed.

Ali was the best communicator and always know the answer or helps you find the answer. She truly is amazing to work with. She loves what she does and it shows tremendously. She is such a kind soul and she holds such high standards.

Price and quality of the house is great. Supervisor Gavin was so helpful to fix the issues which left unfinished by sub contractor. I am so happy that I Choose this Pulte home builder and the Windsor Community.

We enjoyed every process of our house building. The quality of the house and overall experience has been marvelous for us. Molly is excellent, polite, and cooperative. She is responsive with quick replies and also helped us understand every step since we were first buyers, especially since we are from an international country. Nathan- Our experience with Nathan as a construction manager is very impressive. He helped us to explain every detail of the house and all the other tiny details were taken care of before we moved. We like Nathan more than the previous manager and are happy that the process was taken care of by Nathan while we walked our house. All Pulte folks we worked with from Sam in the sales office to Alex prior to and after closing were competent, knowledgeable and professional.

Tyler was great to work with. Great communication and even after closing he was willing to help with any some issue to arise.

Easy and straight forward with pulte Highly recommend

The quality of the home was very bad with lot of issues like cracked granites, bad quality items even after availing Smart Hone package. Unresponsive construction manager with very bad workmanship.

The build process was a joke with a delay at every turn and everything blamed on COVID, but the same model house in the same neighborhood moving faster than others and then you're told "well that's a different elevation". If you complain about the delays your construction super would say "well you could be like this house who's been delayed for # months." No matter what level "manager" you talk to you get the same script and nothing gets done. We had a joke of a super and then he quit in the middle of the house being built. Even with that Pulte never owned up the awful process thus far and put all that stress on the next person to pick up the slack. We've been in house for 2 months now and there are still issues that are not finished that were on the list we made at the final walk through. Our video doorbell isn't installed and the temp doorbell is still just hanging off the wall. We messaged Pulte about electrical outlets that do not work and weeks later no one has come to fix it and now follow up. We've messaged our superintendent about outside lights not installed, video doorbell, window screens and still nothing done. Make sure when designing your home everything they tell you is in writing. We were told a lot of things and then as the house was being built we would about those things and we would get looked at like we were crazy. We would then try to contact the person that sold the house to us and we couldn't never get a response back. In all I would stay far from this builder. They make the home buying process even more stressful than what it already is, and do not go with their joke of financing option. Find your own lender and don't give them your money. They builder has insane delays and then their mortgage company tries to get you to pay thousands to lock in your rate knowing that they building will hit even more delays and your money is lost. ... Josh, on the sales side, really helped us review our options and pick what was best for our family. Russ ,on the building side, kept us informed during every step of the construction process. Would recommend using this team!

I am happy with my home as is but unfortunately they still haven’t come back to make repairs after 3 months. Overall, they seem to be a little bit careless when it comes to your carpet — found splotches of paint here and there. You can also feel that they put carpet down without ensuring there was nothing underneath it — i feel small bumps here and there. Also the wood/laminate flooring when I did my first walk-through was perfect week before closing. After closing I come back to find it was damaged and something they had to order and replace. After 3 mos. They still haven’t replaced it. Another note: I marked up what needed to be fixed and came back to see that 70% of what I needed fixed was resolved. The other 30% are lingering on. The doors were rough and not sanded properly along the edges which is a hazard to young children. New builds what have you but they could be a bit more intentional and careful. My shelves have a layer of paint on them as it seems they put them in and then proceeded to paint the walls after. Leaves white marks on my clothes is how I discovered. Wasn’t able to remove it to a satisfactory degree. Still rough to touch. Overall, I believe it’s a case of overpromise, and under deliver. Great people on the ground and I believe they have good intentions but I just need them to deliver as promised. Overall product quality is great but the nuances, while they aren’t déterrants, have been annoying at best. ... More

Pulte homes are trustworthy. Choose your plan and leave everything to them, youwill have your dream home constructed with good quality.
