We weren't real pleased with our sales person, wasn't thorough with pre-construction options, and lacked follow up. Luckily we were already in the area and could follow construction, otherwise we would have had no idea. We had two constructions managers, Jordan and Justin, who were both terrific, responsive and stayed on top of the construction, communicated well, hit all their time lines with updates, meetings and closing. After closing your handed off for punch list items, big disappointment at this point with communication and follow through.

PULTE dropped the ball and almost every single part of the process of us buying our house from the first conversation to the 30 day inspection after we moved in. Sales people didn’t communicate deadlines and we were left without structural options we said we wanted. Mortgage company is arguably the worst customer service I’ve ever had ANYWHERE in my entire life. They consistently lost our documents and made us resubmit them, changed things at the last second without communicating to us, and dragged a 1 month process out for 9 months. Craftsmanship was subpar also. Cabinets hung crooked, electrical outlets not straight, holes in the drywall, cracks in the baseboards, unpainted baseboards, broken window. All these things should have been discovered by our construction manager when he did a walkthrough and fixed when we did our walkthrough before moving in but only 2 of the 10 issues we outlined in our walkthrough were actually corrected. PULTE consistently blamed the pandemic and the laborers they hired and never took responsibility for their poor work in every single step of this process. Prices are higher than usual this days

Building experience was good and sales rep was responsive. At closing, there were many issues and had to move closing twice. At final close there were several actions for builder to fix. No response since. Air conditioning still does not work after over a month. Very frustrated.

It’s nice to have with Pulte binders to build your new house.

Had a great experience starting with my initial visit as given free license to explore the different layout models. They do a great job with assigning you a personal agent to communicate with throughout the process. Loved the extra touch of being able to contact the construction manager and see your home being built through the phases. Closing went well and inspection too though had to call a few times for a couple cosmetic things that still needed to be taken care of afterwards

Took a long time to come to realization, but was worth it in the end!

We are very pleased with our Pulte home. During the building process, the team faithfully called every week on Wednesday’s with an update on status so that we stayed on track for closing. Any issues that we had after closing were dealt with h promptly.

While I thought my journey with Pulte would be a fantastic experience, I became quickly concerned about open issues that did not get resolved well passed closing 1.) 5/12 My husband and I noticed a hair line crack in the basement in which it was obvious that there was/is an active leak. It was visibly wet in that area 2.) 5/15 We went over again and noticed yet another leak on the floor by another wall in the basement 3.) 5/16 We went over and there is now another leak near the furnace As most home owners would become very concerned and after multiple attempts to address, I was told that the water was condensation. As of today in August, we have wet walls again and water coming from the walls. We attempted to address the problems with Kirk, the construction manager to no avail and here we are with the same issue ... More

Straightforward process focused on getting you a home. Professional construction manager that pays attention to details and interested in walking you through clarification patiently.

Pulte builds quality and spacious homes. We loved our home and we definitely recommend Pulte for family and friends.

We have been ignored post move-in. Do not respond for requests to complete work. Terrible organization.

Enjoyed the process and watching everything come together

Huge turnaround with employees; had 3 different sales people in less than a year; 2 different construction managers. The sales people and construction manager not on the same page about what is needed in the house; we were told we only needed 1 garage door opener for a 3 car garage since we purchased the smart home package when in fact we needed to add another one for the 3rd car. Now we have moved in and are only able to use one side until we hire someone to come and put the other one in. They are unwilling to work with you on issues and Very slow responsiveness in regards to issues (you email them and they email you back 2 weeks later if you’re lucky) Poor quality of things that were upgraded such as cabinets and floors. They give you 30min to 1 hr for final walk through to find issues and if you email them the next day about something found such as chips in floor they won’t fix them since that’s not covered. Rushed closing due to them wanting to meet end of quarter quota. Overall we like the house but would never build with Pulte again. We built with 3 other families in the same subdivision and we all had the same issues. ... More

It was a long distance build and it was a wonderful experience.

I will recommend pulte home to my friends.

Overall the home was to my standards. The only complaint I have is the back yard. It was left a mess and unfortunately sod installation was not included back there which takes down the value of the home. The builder kept in contact the entire time with multiple updates so communication was great. I've had to submit quite a few work orders since moving in so small issues but they've been great at taking care of these problems.

This is a great home.

FOR PULTE BUILDERS The house we purchased almost in double price they charge us, with all extra works , hmm obviously more money, All Material cheap quality , sometimes where roof not in level , same thing with exterior and floor. Some outlets are loose from wall, Garage door works very slow and doesn’t close lot of time. Kitchen cabinets are cheap quality with makes shuts sound. When we walk on second floor, sounds like roof will broke soon . Specially the Paint is not a paint , it’s just like a cheap primer only. They have gone wrong with what was promised in having the property ready in 24 hours after having made the closing, in such a hurry to close and it is still not ready, 29 days have passed and nothing has been done on the property, who is the person responsible? Although according to them they are cosmetic repairs, it is a new house and enough time has passed for it to be ready. I imagined that they will give me some reimbursement for what happened. I need response and action now.

Exceptional building experience. The superintendent went above and beyond.

We closed our house with a couple unfixed issues. And as we moved in, we found more issues on the flooring and AC installation. So we have to contact the warranty team to fix them, But they just replied and then disappeared for two months. They do not care about you at all once your house is closed. So make sure you check everything carefully before closing.

We contracted in April 2021, and while there were some supply delays, the lack of communication and timing by the construction team caused us to wait 14 months to close. They were still working in the house the day of closing and had to be let in throughout the next two weeks to finish items. It has been 5 weeks from closing and we are still waiting for some work to be completed. The sales team is great but the workmanship and all around delays are horrible.
