The experience was very smooth since this wasn’t our first home. Kelly was very helpful and her response time to our questions and suggestions was quick even on the weekends.

Our construction manager made the difference. He was excellent. Our 30 day follow up has been on time and they have just about got everything complete that needed repaired or replaced. So far so good.

I have no other comparison...pulte is the only builder I have experienced. So far so good.

Initial impression upon closing was great. A week of living in the house revealed several issues. The LED ceiling lights were hanging out of the ceiling, later found that this was because ceiling drywall was not cured when they were installed. A week after move-in, all drains were blocked. Main sewer line from house was clogged with construction debris. Plumber said this happens about 25% of the time. Why not clear the drains before closing? Also, once closing occurs, your project manager ends any responsibility for your home - you have to go through Pulte maintenance now. There are many issues due to poor workmanship and also have had a very poor response to have them rectified. Been in the home over a month snd the issues and findings just keep on coming. Very disappointed!

Pulte construction and craftsmanship was good. Smooth move-in experience. But they could be better in choosing appliances. Dint get the same feel of trust with their appliances.

We had a great home buying experience from start to finish. From our initial tours of the models to closing day, the buying process was smooth. The Pulte team has great people at all levels to assist throughout the experience.

Seeing many bothering issues in the house . And team is not responding.

Workmanship was horrible! Office customer service was not good! Was told we were buying certain options later to find out towards the end when they were putting materials into the house that tons of options changed and wasn’t updated to us the homebuyers. Carpet was dirty with stains and not takes down in lots of areas of the house. Under the carpet was not cleaned and you can fell it everywhere when you walk in the carpet. The paint was horrible. The house was not cleaned and the painters painted all over the dirt and it looks horrible. Lots of areas were not caulked. The master tub had a huge crack/ hole and was only repaired not replaced. We closed on our home at the end of June after almost 14 months of waiting. During our walk through several days prior to closing, all items that we could readily see that needed repair were noted and "blue taped". On the day of closing, we were given our keys and told that all of the items that had been listed were either done, or would be done as soon as possible. Those items noted at walk through, but not done were damaged kitchen cabinets, including doors that were on order because they had a whole in the front of them, chipped cultured marble bathroom countertop, an outdoor light fixture not attached to the house and a cracked driveway. When we contacted Pulte Customer Care, we were told to submit a list of problems via email. We received a standard "auto" reply that they were busy and our issues would be addressed as soon as possible. We received no communication from Pulte Customer Care, so after 30 more days, we contacted them and were told that Pulte no longer did repairs at 30 days, it was now a 1 year wait. Pulte helped us buy a condo down the hall from our daughter. We love it!

Overall rated 3 out of 5 due to the process or mentoring and the lack of quality in finishing touches. Through the whole process I felt rushed and was asked for information that I did not understand what it would be used for. There is a lot of information to go through and sign that i wish someone could have walked me through and educated me. rather than jsut asking me to sign. Most, if not all, documents are protecting the builder and not you as the buyer so it is critical for you to understand the risk or what you are sigining and agreeing to. Design of the home was great however when it came to the details they are poor. Paint and mud touch ups needed, paint bleeding on walls, trim and doors, faucet handles loose, globs of grout on shower floor, carpet nails come through where you can feel, cabinet drawers not fastened down. Overall, we love our new home and everyone that we worked with at Pulte throughout the process, but you should have realistic expectations about the level of attention your home will receive. It's just the nature of their business. Pulte is one of the largest builders and they excel at building homes quickly and efficiently, which positively impacts their top and bottom line. The downside is that they won't pay close attention to the quality of your home in the same way a custom builder would. Quality - Remember that Pulte is essentially a middle man. Your house is being completed by a large number of third party contractors. Pulte provides oversite to the entire process, but you don't know what reputation each of those contractors have and what quality you're going to receive. This also explains the poor attention to detail. Value - They are cheaper than going with a custom builder. I can't complain about the value for the price we paid. Responsiveness - The level of attention doesn't go beyond what's required in order to pass inspection. Do not agree to moving in if you aren't comfortable with the quality of your home. Once you sign the dotted line, they have less of an incentive to respond quickly to any issues. Pulte Warranty is dealing with backlogs of their own so your issues won't be attended to in a timely manner. ... More

Before buying my Pulte home, I had been researching other homes with little satisfaction. When I saw the Pulte homes, I was ecstatic; they had everything I wanted in a new home. I wanted a single level, a patio, and a pantry which according to the advertisement came with these homes. I made contact with the sales office, selected a model, began the qualifying process and provided my $15k deposit. It was afterwards that I was told the homes in this development did not come with patios. I discovered later, that I was not given the opportunity to make structural choices. Then the process of submitting qualifying documents began. The process was tumultuous to say the least. It seemed as if the entities involved (the sales team, the construction company, the loan company, and title company) were never on the same page., It was the classic story of the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing. Kept us well informed during the build process. Initially responsive to issues, not responsive after a few weeks.

Pulte needs to control their vendors quality! Painters did poor job! Used very thin layers of paint and we can see the blue mark up to be painted again. Electrical vendor damage our upgrade trim but decided to caulk the trim instead of replacing it. Carpenter didn’t smooth out the trim and used the rough side as the face. Electrical vendor will cancel your warranty for simply switching out the switch unless your goes through them for a “small fee”. I will never build with Pulte again.

Pulte Homes has good service. Like others builder, they have sister companies that will offer you Title service, Loan and Insurance for incentive. We didn't get any of other services, except the Loan (Pulte Mortgage) and Pulte Mortgage's loan officers we were assigned to was HORRIBLE, didn't answers questions and slow to response. Pulte Homes itself provide great service from the sales person to the construction manager and customer care people after closing. The mediocre workmanship come from all the contractors and sub-contractors they hired. They are not detail oriented and miss few things here and there. If you are OCD, you gonna have issues. Overall, Pulte Homes quality is pretty standard. Again, we only bought home from Pulte Homes once, and the market we are in right now is sort of weird, supply chain issues with building material and labor shortage which is maybe the reason why the contractors and sub-contractors aren't that good. ... Good developer and great sales team/ construction managers that are very helpful and communicative throughout the process.

The Realtor at the location Erik has been very professional, has a lot of knowledge about the homes and is very responsive to all of the questions about our new home. Lloyd has also done a wonderful job keeping us in the loop during construction and with answering questions about the workings of a smart home and it's functions.

Overall good builder and beautiful homes.
