We were rushed through the initial contract experience resulting in a very large construction mistake which was never addressed by them. Nor would they even discuss with us. "You signed all the papers" was what the sales rep said. You look at a small computer screen and make choices. Big mistake! Don't let them rush you. Take all the time needed to check every small detail. The house was not finished upon closing. It was filthy. Had construction materials laying around. Because the wrong bathroom countertops had been installed (which they were made aware of at least a month prior to close) they miraculously decided to replace them the day of closing. We arrive to our brand new house after closing not only to find it a complete mess but to find the bathroom mirrors had been taken down, the faucets were lying on the floor and the sheet rock damaged. Yay!!! Reverse osmosis plumbing was not installed nor was it plumbed correctly leading to a large hole being cut into the island to finish the work. This was done a couple of weeks after we moved in. None of the appliances were wired in. They were simply put in place. The list goes on and on. This is our 2nd Pulte home. The first one was fine, no problems. This is a disgrace. Quality of paint used to paint the house is really disappointing. The doors do not fit well and there are still works left undone.

Felt like the builder was waiting for me to give him a good survey teams and just disappeared (limited / no responses since then )

Materials used are cheap.air conditioning inside house noisy.unfinished painting in some part of the house.it took long time response when we have emergency electrical service.

This new home was love at first site. The on-site agent was very helpful with all the amenities offered with the Bedrock model. With everything on one level and a walk out basement sealed the deal for us. We feel the quality of material and workmanship was outstanding, from the building material, flooring, appliances and so much more made us feel that we made the right decision on buying a Pulte home. The on-site building manager was very good. He was on top of the construction of our home and would send us email updates every other week. The visit the the Pulte Design center was quite the event. My wife was in heaven and the interior designer made it very easy for my wife to make the choices for our home. Our advice to a new Pulte home buyer is, enjoy the moment, go into the purchase with and open mind, and to allow other to share their ideas and thoughts in the home design. Constructions are done in a way to pass City inspections/standards, i.e just so much to ensure that you can live inside the house, but it is guaranteed that you will live without any satisfaction of any kind. There are occasional goods done but not noteworthy due to the pain, stress that we had to go thru before that good finally happens. But hey, that's likely happening across all builders and not just this builder - right? So helpless. If only I am given chance to improve my rating to 5 stars in this lifetime.

Pulte title company was horrific at communications. Omar Wes and Maria kept me sane through this process and they were the only reason I continued to move forward with pulte. A lot of the issues I had were with the trades and the poor workman ship. I’m now in my home and see so many flaws. Whenever i reach out to Pulte warranty, they have an excuse for everything, which is unacceptable in a house that cost so much. My lights dim and flicker and their own electrician told me that my house was underpowered. My carpet is torn, baseboard missing paint, tons of drywall seems can be seen through paint, and an excessive amount of bulkiness in my carpet. ... More

Over all it was good experience working with the Pulte Group!

I have spent over $2,000,000.00 with Pulte this year, and it has been nothing but a disappointment. After this experience I will not be spending any more money with Pulte.

The home buying process was great. Regular update throughout my build. Perfect home for me and my family.

Jack and John did a great job for us to get used to our home quickly.

Such an amazing experience! Weekly phone calls to keep you up to date, best contractor ever ALI! She still text and stops by when she is not busy to see how everything is going. If Pulte can't build my next home is we ever move I'll have Ali do it. She is one of their best contractors!

Pros: - Appearance and layout of home - Sales staff and build manager are responsive, informative and easy to work with - Base selection options (appliances, cabinets, flooring etc) were generally all decent quality - Builder's mortgage was competitive and great to work with (always shop around other loan estimates) Cons: - Horrendous impact sound insulation. If you have neighbors, especially upstairs/downstairs you WILL hear every footstep, door opening and cabinet closing they do. I can't emphasize enough how poor the sound insulation is, I would be more than happy to pay a higher sales price to have the home properly insulated. But they did not use the best sound materials or poorly designed on one of the most important factors of a home - The finish on fixtures/moldings are starting to crack everywhere after just 3 months. They do offer a one-time touch up that is recommended to wait until the 11th month to use but we'll see if they are willing to fix up the entire house Additional comments: - Warranty requests take time, from responses to scheduling a service visit to repairs can take easily over a month. The warranty staff are nice to work with. They can be a bit stingy on what they repair but continue to stay on them, take pictures and use the warranty service you paid for to the full extent ... Average quality for above average price.

My experience with Construction Manager, Zach was amazing. He was always professional , returned my calls in a timely manner, took the time to answer all of my questions and always kept me informed of the progress of the building of my new home. Thank you, Zach ! Kudos!!!

Our entire process went exceptionally well. Each person we worked with was helpful every step of the way. I would recommend Pulte to anyone.

Had a smooth buying experience from Pulte!

Signed a purchase agreement, got a loan from builder’s lender, and closed on promised date. We had some hiccups along the way, but each team member answered our questions in an up-front manner.

My wife and I just purchased our Pulte home and we love it! Dave, our construction manager communicated with us the entire time and ensured everything was done to the highest quality. Even our realtor pointed out things that Pulte did that went above and beyond. We did run into some difficulties, especially with a lack of clarity and communication with Pulte Mortgage, but both the construction and title side of Pulte were 10/10 Thank you, Dave!

This is my first one so I’m not sure what to expect. But I noticed a lot of things that are not done as I expected.

Everyone at Paulte homes from the sales person to the construction project manager have been helpful and responsive to my questions and concerns throughout the construction period.

Overall great experience with the process of our quick move in home! After closing our construction manager Mike Z. was very responsive and able to help with minor issues that needed attention. My wife and I are happy we chose Pulte for our first home purchase and will consider them to family and friend.

We purchased one of the last condos in Crown East - Gaithersburg. The communication within Pulte departments was terrible. Many times, we were left to fend for ourselves working with the various depts (Mortgage, Construction, Sales and now Warranty. We have built 3 other homes in our past and none were as non-responsive as Pulte. One last comment that explains their lack of coordination. This request for our opinion states that we purchased an MPDU home. That is incorrect, we actually purchased a full priced Condo. Hopefully their records don't show this.

We closed 2.5 months ago. Just informed we won’t get a yard until at least July. Kitchen ceilings cracking. Mortgage process a disaster. All in all wouldn’t recommend.

We settled mid April , still waiting on lamp light( all new homes have the light, )we were told the light would be installed three weeks ago. Still waiting on refrigerator and wine fridge. We are leaving the last week of June until October, and coordinating the install will be difficult, if not received by the end of June
