This was our second house, first new construction, and we were very happy with how easy the process was. We had a great sales consultant, design consultant, and build manager that kept us informed throughout, amidst numerous delays that were out of their control.

Great process until the end

Going on two months in the home and still no cabinet hardware. Good luck with getting any resolution on issues not reported during the final walkthrough. My cabinets were installed poorly, and I’m struggling to get Pulte to fix the damages. Communication is poor, and I was accused of causing the damage myself. I’m so disappointed. Every time I reach out for updates on my outstanding issues, I am made to feel like a bother. The sales process is great…but the experience after the purchase is complete can leave you feeling devastated. Tip- stay in that house during the final walkthrough until you catch every little issue. Get on your hands and knees and inspect the cabinet installs carefully. You should not expect to have to do this, but I missed some of these things and now I’m in the position I’m in. We relocated from California and found our home via our realtor. The sales staff did a great job and Steve held our hand throughout the building process. We love our home and couldn't be happier.

Angela was an excellent communicator. She always responded to my text and emails despite the overwhelming challenges. She was cordial and respectful. Brandon on the other hand kept making promises he could not keep. My property still remain unfinished 60 days after we had fully paid the Builder in cash.

Chris site manager is awesome very detailed into his work . Very knowledgeable and attentive about anything you ask him about the site . He’s a great person as well . Please give him a high praise Chris your awesome Sir . Give him a raise too

Pulte homes are trash.

We started the process with Tyler, who by all accounts is a true professional in every aspect. He kept us informed, explained things when there were questions, and provided updates throughout the build. Daniel gave me a thorough video tour of my home (I don't live in Florida currently), answered questions, and followed up on any and all issues. Matt was great with answering any detailed questions after the build and closing, and has followed up on all issues, which were few. I'm very happy with the result and the performance of these three men!

Would like to have better responsiveness to issues

The overall experience is great. The one problem that I encounter is the lack of responsiveness to pending issues. I moved in about five weeks ago and still have pending items pending with little support.

Poor workmanship and slow response to issues

I would tell prospective owners that it is a well made home and great area to live in.

Not a man of many words, but Bryan(Sales Agent), Phil (Contractor), and the entire Pulte Family made our first time home buying experience for me and my family amazing. Thank You and I highly recommend purchasing a home with PULTE!!!!!!!

The quality of the material is so cheap, the finishing and paint are not professional at all, and before the closing, if you point to them that there is something wrong they will fix it immediately but after the closing, they take forever. when you make a request for something that needs to be fixed they might not answer unit you follow up with them. I chose to buy a new home so I can set and relax since everything should be new, but this is so much headque. I'm spending my day calling and sending an email and waiting for people to come to fix it, and only had the home for 2 months.

I will never build a new home again and I most definitely will not use Pulte. One bad experience after another.

If you're looking for a builder that will do just enough to get by, then Pulte is your builder. Throughout the sales process, they tell you about their quality promise and all the steps they'll take to ensure a quality build. Then at each and every step of the way, they'll fail to even come close. We've been in our home for 6 weeks now. The week before we closed, our third-party inspector turned in a 30 page report of defects to be addressed. Absolutely no action was taken. After we closed and moved in, we reported numerous other issues. They keep promising they'll come back and fix it. We've been here for 6 weeks now and we are still waiting (although they promise to come and fix everything next week - we'll see). Overall we are extremely disappointed. I truly believe this overall lack of quality is pushed down from the leadership team - I am beginning to wonder if the execution level team members are given the tools they need to provide a better quality home. ... Professional service and team on processing each steps to purchasing a new home.

Everything up to completion was great as well as workmanship. I have some issues that need resolving, and I am not getting any reply or satisfaction in these issues. Very frustrating! Feel like now that they have my money, sit back and not solving problems.

Be careful, if you are expecting Pulte to build you a "Custom Home" you're going to be disappointed. Craftmanship is poor, we are not planning to live in our new home long so we are not worried about what happens in 5-10 years. But, if you are looking for this house to be your "Forever Home", you will run into a lot of issues. All the trades that are working on the home are being forced to rush to get things done due to Pulte expecting X amount of homes built by a certain timeframe. In our home, the tile was installed poorly and crooked, the carpet in our upstairs doesn't reach the tack strip, and the walls are not plum they bow out which makes the baseboards and casings look terrible. Do not get carpet in your home. It is a low-grade carpet that will not last more than 5 years. Don't waste your money paying for upgrades, it will be wasted money. The design center appointment do not get pressured into going with levels 5-7. It just doesn't make sense, it is not any better than levels 3-4. The smart home feature is nice but you have to understand how to use the technology. Overall I wouldn't build again with Pulte and I would not build in this market (June 2022), with inflation at an all-time high and the interest rates getting higher and higher.
